After renting units for many years, I find these to be very clean, and the layout is good for the outside units. Claudia was extremely helpful, as was the other associate I spoke to on the phone. They were courteous and helpful, and otherwise provided excellent customer service! read more

Worst Public storage! Increased price almost $100 and staff are absolutely no help! Save your money and go down the street to extra space!

Claudia is amazing. she's so friendly, efficient and found my perfect unit. I will recommend public storage because of Claudia

my payment went up $100 out of nowhere. This is ridicu especially since our unit isn't even really 10x10 like we pay for. Will not be returning in the future. read more

Being charged double to new people coming in and $1 first month promotion advertised on website is not true - very misleading and dishonest. It sue how they get away with this. Further to this You sign at one price and price just keep going up as they know that it is pricy to move. Better options in the area. read more

Claudia, answered all my questions that I had before I rented my space. She was a big part in my decision making, she is a great asset to the compant. Thank you for your help. read more

the customer service I received from Meggan was amazing she was so nice and supportive and helpful.my wife and I just moved from New Jersey and she helped us so much thanks to her the transition from Jersey to Florida was so smooth and she had so much patience thank you so much read more

Accessible and easy to get in and out of. Juan Machado was on duty and helpful in answering questions.

This property raises the rate without notice which they should give written notice. Within one year they have raise me twice, $60 each time. This is very bad business. I will be removing my items from this storage. They have your rent at a lower rate and raise you in several months. read more

Claudia is very professional, knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. The setup process is efficient. Thank you.

Made a reservation and had an appointment to look at the unit with the property manager. Showed up to appointment to view the unit at 2:30 PM and stood outside in the Florida heat for 30 minutes. Door was locked, no one was there. I called customer service Several times was transferred to five different extensions called several other numbers there's a property manager supposed to be there until 5 o'clock and property manager was not there. Another customer pulled up to the gate and said that there's nobody over there. Good luck trying to reach somebody. Ended up paying for the storage unit without seeing how big it was and not having an idea if my stuff will fit in there. The room was extremely dirty smelled like mildew, and the ground was covered in some type of chemical and look like it had a leak. Made me pay $20 for the same exact lock I already had. Did not honor the advertised promotion of first months rent of one dollar. Definitely do not recommend. Climate controlled room was extremely humid and muggy did not feel like it had any type of climate control in there. Terrible customer service. Will be looking for a better place for the amount that I'm paying for a small unit and the customer service is not worth it. read more

Claudia was very helpful and helped me with everything that I needed help with. If anybody comes to this location, I highly recommend asking for Claudia. She's the best ! Thank you public storage read more

We signed a contact in September and in the contract it states that they are able to raise the rent at anytime with a 30 day notice. They sent a card dated on January 28, 2021. They sent it bulk so I did not receive until February 18th. This is not a written 30 day notice. I spoke to Claudia who states they emailed it. That does not qualify as written notice, most people like myself barely look at our emails and in court they will not count that as a 30 day written notice. In regards to the bulk mail, they process bulk mail monthly and know that bulk mail takes longer to arrive to its destination then regular mail. Knowing this, they should have sent the notice between the beginning to mid-January stating the change, giving people a full 30 day written notice to make a rational decision. They do it this so you are obligated to stay with them. This concerns me as I am unsure how many people they have done this to. Another concern is that we have only been there 5 going on 6 months. No wonder the other person was not able to afford his items. I called the Regional 3 times, she called me the following week from an unknown number. She left me a message and I have called her twice after that and left her a message. This is unlawful and immoral. read more

Claudia Mgr. gave us amazing service! Thank you!

They start you off at an attractive price, knowing that moving things out is a hassle, within 12 months my rate went up for $150 per month, to $250 per month, absurd - if you use their service, be sure you have a long term contract for your rate read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! Property manager Claudia is rude and hung up on me. With everything that is going on with COVID-19, I had to vacate my storage unit after 2 years because I could not afford it. I literally gave away everything in the unit to eliminate the expense. They state that they do not prorate a month and don't care about my current situation. Just give us our money. Terrible customer service with zero compassion!! read more

They are extremely nice. They help me with everything and is across my restaurant. They show me all the options I have until I decided that one I need. I have air condition in my unit. Everything is always clean so if you need a storage now you know where to go. read more

Terrible customer service and fees 3times surrounding area competitors. Had issues with employees not being in office during business hours as well as accessing my unit with the code they had given. Was charged for full month of storage due to being 2 days late of emptying storage unit and refused to pro-rate or discount anything. Moved to another storage unit business just to get out of this terribly run business and unprofessional employees. Outstanding customer service from Juan at 5408 University Drive in Davie, FL!! He made the sign-up process effortless, gave me the best deal in the area, and personally guided me into and out of a tight parking space with my motor home. He was patient, personable, and professional. I highly recommend, and will remember Public Storage when I return to the Davie/Weston area. Thank you, Juan! read more

Nice & Painless. Very courteous greeting from the Two ladies who were in the office when I drove by. There was availability of unit as I needed it (mainly A/C). Conveniently located. Efficient access to my unit, including personal code & access hours. Nice to have good sized elevator (my unit on 2nd floor). Nice to have access to Two dollies. Place is clean and I see maintenance personnel every time I go. read more

There's no lighting inside the units, the elevator going up in building A is decrepit and I'm surprised that it's actually still viable, the outside smells like urine. They increase the rent without reason over and over, for my unit I used to pay $160 in 2013, then $180 in 2014, $200 in 2015 and, now, in 2016 I'm paying $234 with tax. There's other storage units in this area that you could go to like U-Store-It or whatever that have cheaper rates for more up to date facilities. Reason I don't move? I'm a disabled vet so I physically can't. If anyone wants to help me move, let me know, I'll buy pizza and beer. read more

I have a 10 X 20 drive-up unit. The facility looks a little older. The units are clean, but have no lighting inside. The insulation on the ceiling of my unit is torn and falling down in a few spots. The roll-up door is old and hard to open and close. The grounds are well kept, but have poor lighting all around. I've only seen two cameras, recording cars coming and going. Don't know if there's much of a problem with crime in these places, but with the price of cameras these days, I was surprided there weren't more. I've never been there in the rain, so I'm not sure about the drainage. Customer service has been great so far. The price is the lowest around, however, I didn't get the $1 first month rent special. They said it didn't apply to my unit. read more

The people are very helpful and answered all my questions. They have a lot of useful things that you can buy for moving things like bubble wrap and boxes and paper. They show you the different sizes and the unit your requesting it's a good place to store yourself. Very secure. Extremely. read more

We needed a storage facility for my daughter to put some items in and we came across this facility. Claudia (property manager) hands down is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Her customer service is outstanding and did it all with a huge smile (even though we were there way before they opened). Claudia was very helpful with anything we needed. It's nice to see that there still is customer service the way it should be. Thank you to Claudia for making our first storage experience a HUGE success. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. The company had absolutely no idea what they were talking about. I was out of state when my car was finished with a new engine and my sister in law volunteered to pick the car up and store it. I called here and asked if I could rent a parking spot over the phone and have my sister in law drop it off and the guy said yes.I booked it and the guy didn't even ask me if I had questions (which I did) or good bye he just hung up on me. My sister-in-law got there and they said they couldn't rent the spot to her because her name was not on the title. I went to another storage place and got the spot for 1/2 the price and would allow my sister-in-law to drop off the car. read more

I have had a unit here for three years and have had NO BAD EXPERIENCES. I recently had to move my things to another city and Cindy and Claudia were a great help with securing a new location for me. They looked up other Public Storage facilities in the near area to meet my needs. Over the course of two days they worked and found the right unit for me. I usually don't write reviews, but these ladies were so helpful, I felt they needed recognization. Thanks for a smooth and quick transition to my new location. read more

Convenient location. Hud and Claudia were very helpful and pleasant. Will definitely refer a friend. Keep up the good work! -Alex, RN.

I made an online reservation to book a storage unit and when arriving at the site the day of my booking the service I received from the gentleman was exceptional. He was polite and explained all the rules in great detail making sure I knew exactly what I was signing. He was patient too and very helpful, and for his wonderful customer service I would highly recommend this branch of Public Storage. read more

I was a walk-in customer at this property and have no complaints! I was in search of some moving boxes and finding out more information on specials and a storage big enough to fit maybe a few boxes and bedroom set. I was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful customer service I received, Claudia was extremely attentive and made sure to answer all my questions. Her and the other young lady there, I believe Shantel was her name, were friendly and very patient. I have stopped at other locations but never have I received 100% genuine customer service like I did at this particular location. I would definitely recommend if you are looking to rent or in need of moving supplies definitely can't go wrong here, ask for Claudia and you will not be disappointed. read more
