Worst Public storage! Increased price almost $100 and staff are absolutely no help! Save your money and go down the street to extra space!

beware beware do not attend to do business with the 3700 public storage because they will raise your rent every three months 50% or more multiple times a year. i've been a member for 7 to 8 months and they have raised my rent two times up to 50% and they tell you well if you don't pay move out if i was the business and i raised everybody's rent like that unexpected i would be ashamed of myself do not do business with this fraud company unless you want to pay rent 100% more in seven months i'm just helping you guys out do not do business with 3700 address thank you brandon read more

Being charged double to new people coming in and $1 first month promotion advertised on website is not true - very misleading and dishonest. It sue how they get away with this. Further to this You sign at one price and price just keep going up as they know that it is pricy to move. Better options in the area. read more

Worst place ever, Im waiting for a refund for almost 3 weeks, nobody would give you a follow up or a call, you will be left hanging, no worries about coming to the office, most of the time they are not there and wouldnt post returning time by the door.....then they said they were at the property......yeah right. I have been here today since 9 20am it is 10 35 am and nobody been in the office, a few cars came and left because of that....property manager dont care. read more

Accessible and easy to get in and out of. Juan Machado was on duty and helpful in answering questions.

Made a reservation and had an appointment to look at the unit with the property manager. Showed up to appointment to view the unit at 2:30 PM and stood outside in the Florida heat for 30 minutes. Door was locked, no one was there. I called customer service Several times was transferred to five different extensions called several other numbers there's a property manager supposed to be there until 5 o'clock and property manager was not there. Another customer pulled up to the gate and said that there's nobody over there. Good luck trying to reach somebody. Ended up paying for the storage unit without seeing how big it was and not having an idea if my stuff will fit in there. The room was extremely dirty smelled like mildew, and the ground was covered in some type of chemical and look like it had a leak. Made me pay $20 for the same exact lock I already had. Did not honor the advertised promotion of first months rent of one dollar. Definitely do not recommend. Climate controlled room was extremely humid and muggy did not feel like it had any type of climate control in there. Terrible customer service. Will be looking for a better place for the amount that I'm paying for a small unit and the customer service is not worth it. read more

This property raises the rate without notice which they should give written notice. Within one year they have raise me twice, $60 each time. This is very bad business. I will be removing my items from this storage. They have your rent at a lower rate and raise you in several months. read more

We signed a contact in September and in the contract it states that they are able to raise the rent at anytime with a 30 day notice. They sent a card dated on January 28, 2021. They sent it bulk so I did not receive until February 18th. This is not a written 30 day notice. I spoke to Claudia who states they emailed it. That does not qualify as written notice, most people like myself barely look at our emails and in court they will not count that as a 30 day written notice. In regards to the bulk mail, they process bulk mail monthly and know that bulk mail takes longer to arrive to its destination then regular mail. Knowing this, they should have sent the notice between the beginning to mid-January stating the change, giving people a full 30 day written notice to make a rational decision. They do it this so you are obligated to stay with them. This concerns me as I am unsure how many people they have done this to. Another concern is that we have only been there 5 going on 6 months. No wonder the other person was not able to afford his items. I called the Regional 3 times, she called me the following week from an unknown number. She left me a message and I have called her twice after that and left her a message. This is unlawful and immoral. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! Property manager Claudia is rude and hung up on me. With everything that is going on with COVID-19, I had to vacate my storage unit after 2 years because I could not afford it. I literally gave away everything in the unit to eliminate the expense. Terrible customer service and fees 3times surrounding area competitors. Had issues with employees not being in office during business hours as well as accessing my unit with the code they had given. Was charged for full month of storage due to being 2 days late of emptying storage unit and refused to pro-rate or discount anything. Moved to another storage unit business just to get out of this terribly run business and unprofessional employees. Nice & Painless. Very courteous greeting from the Two ladies who were in the office when I drove by. There was availability of unit as I needed it (mainly A/C). Conveniently located. Efficient access to my unit, including personal code & access hours. Nice to have good sized elevator (my unit on 2nd floor). Nice to have access to Two dollies. There's no lighting inside the units, the elevator going up in building A is decrepit and I'm surprised that it's actually still viable, the outside smells like urine. They increase the rent without reason over and over, for my unit I used to pay $160 in 2013, then $180 in 2014, $200 in 2015 and, now, in 2016 I'm paying $234 with tax. There's other storage units in this area that you could go to like U-Store-It or whatever that have cheaper rates for more up to date facilities. Reason I don't move? I'm a disabled vet so I physically can't. If anyone wants to help me move, let me know, I'll buy pizza and beer. read more

I have a 10 X 20 drive-up unit. The facility looks a little older. The units are clean, but have no lighting inside. The insulation on the ceiling of my unit is torn and falling down in a few spots. The roll-up door is old and hard to open and close. The grounds are well kept, but have poor lighting all around. I've only seen two cameras, recording cars coming and going. Don't know if there's much of a problem with crime in these places, but with the price of cameras these days, I was surprided there weren't more. I've never been there in the rain, so I'm not sure about the drainage. Customer service has been great so far. The price is the lowest around, however, I didn't get the $1 first month rent special. They said it didn't apply to my unit. read more

We needed a storage facility for my daughter to put some items in and we came across this facility. Claudia (property manager) hands down is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Her customer service is outstanding and did it all with a huge smile (even though we were there way before they opened). Claudia was very helpful with anything we needed. Wish I could give 0 stars. The company had absolutely no idea what they were talking about. I was out of state when my car was finished with a new engine and my sister in law volunteered to pick the car up and store it. I called here and asked if I could rent a parking spot over the phone and have my sister in law drop it off and the guy said yes.I booked it and the guy didn't even ask me if I had questions (which I did) or good bye he just hung up on me. My sister-in-law got there and they said they couldn't rent the spot to her because her name was not on the title. I went to another storage place and got the spot for 1/2 the price and would allow my sister-in-law to drop off the car. read more

I have had a unit here for three years and have had NO BAD EXPERIENCES. I recently had to move my things to another city and Cindy and Claudia were a great help with securing a new location for me. They looked up other Public Storage facilities in the near area to meet my needs. Over the course of two days they worked and found the right unit for me. I made an online reservation to book a storage unit and when arriving at the site the day of my booking the service I received from the gentleman was exceptional. He was polite and explained all the rules in great detail making sure I knew exactly what I was signing. I was a walk-in customer at this property and have no complaints! I was in search of some moving boxes and finding out more information on specials and a storage big enough to fit maybe a few boxes and bedroom set. I was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful customer service I received, Claudia was extremely attentive and made sure to answer all my questions. Her and the other young lady there, I believe Shantel was her name, were friendly and very patient. I have stopped at other locations but never have I received 100% genuine customer service like I did at this particular location.
