I have had a storage building at this place for one 6 years. To My surprise they have contactless service . I mean CONTACTLESS! You can't reach them on a phone without paying a 10.00 fee! I have tried and tried to contact anyone ! They are totally A.I. I'm trying to get my Proerty from a unit and to try and contact anyone is like looking for a statin of cat hair in a haystack. Don't go to public storage ! Don't! Go to someplace that has a live person . No matter how safe you think it is, its a really awful place to try and do business with. I haven't moved in 13 years and they made it so easy. Especially after getting the app it really helps out.

This is the worst rental unit I've ever experienced. I have no past due balance but the app keeps denying me access because it says I have a past due balance and until I pay the balance, which I don't have, I can't access my unit. I've had to call customer service several times just to access my unit and they all keep saying the same thing, I won't have this problem again moving forward. PS sounds like a broken record because the same thing keeps happening. They either don't know how to keep accurate payment records, they have systems issue's or just trying to get unsuspecting customers to fork over extra money by accusing then of a past due balance when there's none, either way the service sucks, you'll be lucky to get a rep who speaks English. I'm fed up with this place and will not be renewing next month. If you value your time, money and peace of mind, don't use this service, if you don't believe me FAFO! read more

This is the most outrageously overpriced thing I have even experienced. When I started here the rent was $69.00 and now it is $161.00!!! It has almost tripled in price...FOR WHAT? For a tiny,stuffy (climate control is sub-par at best) shoebox of a room in the middle of a secluded hall way? NO THANKS! If I had been offered an upgrade or ANY sort of perk for all the price changes maybe I could justify the price but NO! I'm already searching for a different place. I did not get the lock taken off until the 1st of the month at 9:00 am. My move out date was the month before and unit was empty. Either way because It was a new month by a few hours. They are going to charge me for the entire month. BUT on top of that I can't even pay it online because my account was shut off. Poor customer service, no one on site and no one picks up the phone. Try Extra Space storage. I have two units there and while the prices get moved up just like Public storage there is always someone to talk to and the negotiated with after a big rate increase. read more

I rented a unit online this week. When I arrived at the unit, I realized it was too small. I went in to speak with someone about getting a larger unit. Unfortunately, the office only housed a broken kiosk and no actual employees. Since the kiosk was not working, I called the phone number listed on the website. I explained the situation to which she told me that would be no problem. We discussed prices, all of which were much higher than listed on the website. When I inquired about the discrepancy, she informed me that the prices listed on the website were only for new customers. Existing customers must pay double the cost listed on their website. I have two concerns regarding that comment. 1) Why don't you treat loyal customers as well as new customers? 2) I am a new customer. I rented the unit that very day and I hadn't moved anything in yet. If I am willing to pay the price difference between the two units, why can I not get a different unit as a new customer? When the employee I spoke with wasn't able to help me, I asked to speak with her supervisor. She told me that was not possible. She would have to fill out a written request and her supervisor would contact me within 72 hours. Not-so-surprisingly, I have yet to be contacted and the 72 hour window is closing momentarily. I explained that I no longer wish to do business with this company and I would like a refund because I never used the unit. I was only refunded for the lock that I never opened. I was not refunded for the unit I never used. Customer service and customer loyalty are low on their list of priorities. read more

Helpful folks here and a a clean facility! Reniga has gone above and beyond for me several times over the years and is an easy person to deal with. Though there have been occasional issues with elevator access, they seem to have recently invested in a new access system to remedy the problem. I would rent again. read more

If I Could give 10 Stars I would! SAMANTHA hands down is a life-saver!! I'm so happy we still have people in the world that will still go the extra mile! She was amazing! I called the customer service to make a last minute reservation because the U-Haul storage down the street was twice the price with no specials! Anyways to make a long story short, I went the wrong way on greenville ave. causing me to arrive at the location after closing. But because Samantha's kind heart she stayed and showed me a storage (which takes about 35 mins including paperwork) I begged to compensate her with money, dinner, gas etc. for her staying late. She declined and made sure I was taken care of for my emergency move. I'm forever grateful!! read more

This was a five star experience all the way around! I am a nurse and I keep weird hours when I'm doing my shift work so I overslept for my appointment. Reniga called me and instead of griping at me, she let me know there was another client there and gave me two more options for times to come in. While I was on the phone she also evaluated my need for climate control by asking me a few sensible questions and I discovered that I did not, in fact, need to spend the extra money on climate control but that I might actually need a bigger unit, which has proven to be true. I now have a whole couch I'm going to have to store in there!! YIKES!! She was not only patient but she was very helpful. When I arrived, we didn't have anyone else coming in so we got to chit chat and I just fell in love with her-she is an excellent property manager-she is on top of things when necessary. She is kind and she is patient and she knows her stuff, which is a relief to know. She is also a wonderful person in general. I discovered a lot about her life and she mine by just standing there getting paperwork signed and locks purchased and units picked. She is absolutely the best and this public storage facility is clean, well lit, beautifully managed and I may even stay past the one month I needed just to be able to hang out with my girl Reniga on occasion!!! I have not had the same experience as the other reviewer. Reniga has been great and very kind every time we see her on the property. She's been helpful in giving us information about our move, as we are moving out soon to head to NY. The only part that I am not as satisfied with is the increase in rent. We have been using the unit since 2009, and I feel like long time customers should get some sort of rent control. I think this is a company complaint, not a reflection of the management at this property. Other than that, it has been a great experience. read more

Staff is friendly and places seems to be well maintained. However, I just received a 31% price increase after being there for 6 months. Perhaps the language is buried in the lease agreement, but who would expect to get a price increase of that magnitude after 6 months. Ridiculous. read more

Renting a storage space here was a smooth and quick process. I found the staff to be very nice and helpful. Reniga was always kind to send me a monthly courtesy call when payments were due and was very personable. Both she and Stephanie assisted me when I moved out of my storage space and gave timely & friendly customer service. I would definitely recommend this location and staff. read more
