Although they were so far away from me, I was worry-free. A3 is so clean and safe, and Melanie so responsive. My only regret: I knew that it would be unlikely I'd find such great storage and management again. Friends kept telling me horror stories about chain storage facilities which increase prices unexpectedly and repeatedly. And the ones I toured had poor security and/or were dirty. (Thank goodness I finally found another locally managed facility, though not quite up to A3's standard: Melanie spoiled me!) Should you need clean, climate-controlled storage with easy access, decent lighting, and excellent management close to downtown Dallas, this is your place.

The Storage Choice Design District location is very new (I remember seeing it get built) and still has that 'new building smell and look' to it. Parking for unloading was convenient and near the elevators, and access to complimentary dollys made unloading quick and easy. The actual rental process was very easy and thoroughly explained by John H., the property manager on site. I felt very comfortable in choosing this location to store my items. Definitely worth checking out, if you're looking for a place to store your items.

I reported it to their customer service and my "complaint was sent to cooperate" but I haven't to hear from anyone. Majority of my items were discarded due to being ruined by rodent feces. The minimal I was able to salvage I was forced to move to a completely different storage facility. I had my storage unit with them for over 4 years, I am truly disgusted and highly dis on how these events came to be. I hope no one goes through this same situation. I lost a lot of cherished items as well as brand new, expensive furniture.

The security system is top notch, cameras everywhere keeping everyone honest who comes in and out. The only downside (minus 1 star) is the facility is not 24/7. You have access to your storage from 5am - 9pm daily. Which is not too bad and quite understandable when you consider the area. Personally I travel a lot and I like the ability to access a storage at any hour however when you consider the customer service, security of the facility its really a no brainer if you live close to the area. I do like the ability to manage your unit online, which includes payments and setting up auto pay. Be aware, you should time your move out wisely. Rent is due monthly on the 1st and if you move out after the 1st the remainder of your rent is forfeited as they do not pro rate for move outs.

When I raised concerns about my TV being damaged during the move, I felt dismissed immediately instead of heard as a paying, repeat customer. My interaction with Patrick S. Dobson, the Vice President, was extremely unprofessional. After I responded once to explain my concerns, his reply included "this is not worth arguing over," despite the fact that there was no back-and-forth argument happening. I was simply trying to explain my perspective regarding the damage claim. The tone of the response came across as rude, defensive, and dismissive rather than customer-focused. I also do not believe the company properly handled the damage investigation. Photos were presented as if the damage was pre-existing, but the TV had no prior damage before the movers entered my home. If any issue had truly existed beforehand, it should have been clearly pointed out to me at the time. As someone who works with customers, professionalism and communication matter just as much as the service itself. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling unheard and disrespected, and because of that, I will not be using this company again.
