I rented a space at an introductory price. 3 months later it went up almost 50$. When I went online, I see the same unit has an intro price and shows the REGULAR price would be 80$. They are charging me 115$ . Beware of them raising your unit beyond what the they list as the advertised price when you sign up. Contacting them only leads to voicemails. read more

I have a 10x30 at public storage that I got 10 months ago. When I first got there it was $180. Then a couple of months later it went up to 250 and now I get another notice that it is going to go up to $327. But then when I go to CubeSmart and they have a 10x30 it's it's $117. So that tells me that public storage is nothing but about greed. And I hope as these rates go up that people stop using public storage for it to go up 147 in 8 months is crazy. I have been using them for years. I will never use them again and I hope nobody else does either stop using public storage. read more

For now it will get 2 stars.....I moved in about 3 weeks ago, a week after I moved in I went to facility to gain access into my inside unit. When I arrived I noticed the door to get into the storage building to get access to my unit was closed and locked. The key pad was not working along with the elevator. No big deal, I went and got the nice young gentlemen to get the keys to unlock the door. Well, he did the best he can but he didn't have the keys. He told me the property manager left with the keys and won't be back until the following day. I asked how am I supposed to get into my unit that I am paying for and the reply was come back tomorrow. Now if I had a mover scheduled to move my stuff that day I would be in a world of hurt and would have had to either pay extra for the mover to come the next day or break open the door to gain access for a service I am paying for. I left the premises and called corporate told them about the above issue along with the call box and elevator being broken. They took my information and assured me someone would be returning my call. Now here is where it gets really good. A male subject left a voice mail on my cell, he identified himself as the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR and stated the following. He is aware of the above issues and they are currently working with vendors to make the necessary repairs. To make matters worse, the so call executive director offered to refund my 25 dollars so I can go some where else....REALLY this is how they treat their customers how many of you after paying a moving company to put your stuff in storage want to pay another moving company to move your stuff out after 2 weeks. This executive director had no customer service skills what so ever and didn't care about addressing the true issue at hand. Which was...why is the property manager not leaving the proper keys for their employees to gain access into important areas of the property. read more

Lorraine is the best! We were having a tough time getting our boat into the storage unit. She asked for help from some guys who were working outside their unit. They obviously knew her and were happy to help us. The 6 of us finally got the boat in the unit! We never could have gotten it in without Lorraine's help. Great customer service! read more

Please watch out for the hidden rate increases. I was blind sided to a $30 monthly increase. Most companies look out for the military when they deploy but not this one. They told me it's common for them to increase the price every 6 months no matter if you're in the military or not. read more

The property has always been clean and the person on site has always taken care on my needs. The manager made sure the 2nd unit was close to the first. I have had a unit at Public Storage for 2 years and have been satisfied. I do wish the facility was available for more hours during the day. read more

I had my stuff in storage as I was traveling for over 4 years..and things were great until it was broken into in July. My experience with Public Storage was fine until then because I never had to deal with them except to pay my monthly rent. I was not notified by the owner of the break in, but my friend who just happened to check on it. She had to buy a new lock (dont understand why I was paying insurance on this unit, what for?) Of course the insurance company is supposedly a separate entity, but for customer service sake they could have offered and gotten reimbursed by insurance. It just would have been nice. It was detrimental enough to me as it was that this happened and I am in another state! When I called the manager there to inquire about that breakin, he seemed to be irritated with me asking for info..and was very short with me. Which makes me wonder..HMMM??? But fishy events and fishy personalities me no likey. Especially when this storage unit DOES NOT HAVE SECURITY CAMERAS ONSITE. Remember that! But they have a gate and give you a code to get in..easy to get into that but whatever. Then dealing with closing the unit off since I was planning to move everything out was hell too. I was willing to give a 30 day notice, but told by manager I could a 2 day. I expected a prorated amount since I pay online up to the 30thand left the storage on the 10th. I cleared this on the phone with the manager when we talked about the notice! So a few weeks later, no check in the mail, I called and manager told me I would get NO money back. That I didnt have a sufficient NOTICE! That cracks me up. Thank God this all happened in the end, because if I was not planning on moving everything out yet, I would sure been worried about my things WAY MORE..since PUBLIC STORAGE wasn't. I dont know if I will get anything from their insurance company, as two voicemails later have yet to get a return call. I'm not counting on them however, considering the way I've been handled so far. So my advice: PUBLIC STORAGE? NEVER AGAIN. Customer service is not a high priority..and I WOULD NEVER TRUST THEM WITH MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS EVER EVER AGAIN. read more

At the time of me posting this, there are a total 74 reviews on google that are nothing but praise and only 2 on yelp that actually give you honest opinions. Why? Because all of the google reviews are BS. I currently have a unit here. Friday I went to retrieve some items from my unit I needed for my side business and drop off a couple items. The gate wasn't working. I understand things happen, but that messed up my Fri evening and Sat. Sunday I went early so I could get what I needed for my customer. Apparently, they can't figure out how Daylight Savings works and I couldn't get in. I lost money that day and my reputation was damaged. I left a voicemail letting them know I expected a call back, but they didn't even have the courtesy to do that. Don't waste your time with this place. I'll be moving my stuff somewhere else the first free weekend I get. read more

the property manager was so right on about everything, she knows her stuff , its clean and even smells good. the only thing im not to happy with is that its not open 24 hours, but i can get why. other then that i would recommend this spot to anyone. friendly manager. welcome to texas read more
