They close early at 9pm Doing my rounds of drop off I realized this. Why did I even pay for a service I don't have access to.... This was a total nightmare Used a lock from U-Haul they called said it wasn't secure and that they left an additional lock... No instructions were clear for this. I don't move enough to know this... They installed new lock and want me to set up an appointment. Called left multiple voicemails at 6:30pm only to not have gotten any follow up. Do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I had my storage unit here for years. I had my rent go from 220 to 575 over 3 years. I use it for business and personal. They would never reward me for being a loyal customer when I asked to lower the rent for one month or two. They are all about profit. My unit had walls crushed in from other units. The door seal was bad allowing dust to fill. Where it was situated leaves and other debris would collect making me have to sweep everything out all the time. The pull rope was never replaced. Some guys broke in and stole from units cutting licks and latches. Thank goodness I had double locks. They put my stuff up for auction once from nine payment after pleading to lower my rent for a month. I found another unit close by that was clean and with easy access. I had a 10x25 unit for $575 and moved to a 10x20 for only $170 I actually asked if I could move to another unit in the same complex. They had the same size for $300. Wait a second I had to move my stuff into another unit the same size just to lower the rent instead of just lowering where I am. This made no sense at all. Complete jerks. I would never ever recommend this company ever. I will never rent from them. If I could rate no stars I would. read more

You suck! In six months youve raised my rent 5 times and allthough you say youre open theres never anyone there to take my payment. But you send me threatening emails that you will charge me extra for late payment and you will take my stuff if i dont pay. You charge $10 extra to pay by phone and you constantly ask for open access to my bank account. My banker doesnt have access to my account. You want to steal my stuff you can have it but be very careful when you open the door. Stuff could fall out on your foot. Listen up people, dont pay these thieves to hold your stuff. Customer service is non-existent. There's never a person at the property. As a new renter I cannot access my unit at the rear of the property because the front (only) gate is broken. Left several messages over several days asking for assistance and no one replies. PS charged for a lock when completing the electronic rental agreement but no one has told me where or how to get that since there's never anyone in the property to speak to. Overall, this is an extremely disappointing. First experience with Public Storage. If I could get an instant refund, I'd cancel right now. read more

With these outside units, expect for your belongings to get filthy. Management is ok and will return calls. However after experiencing identity theft, I attempted to update my payment information and set up auto pay several times over months. Every month I would receive notice that my payment had not been received. And every month I would pay my dues for my unit. Over the years my rate went up 400%, but management would attempt to lock me in at the current rate for 6 months at a time, so that was appreciated. When it came time to close my unit, I was a few days into the new month and full payment was expected, even with an empty and clean unit. I was told they do not prorate and that a full payment is expected. So essentially they will collect your payment and rent the unit to the next client and collect twice on the same unit. Glad to be done renting at this property and the best of luck to the next client. read more

Wow, haven't been in this place even 5 months and they're increasing the rate over 1/3 of my monthly rate I rented within the first place. What a joke this place isn't even clean to begin with. The amount of spiders that have moved into my unit is beyond ridiculous. I've used storage places before and never has my rate increased or spiders and ridiculous amounts of dirt collecting. Not happy. Will be looking for a new place ASAP. read more

storing vehicle here and come every week or so to run engine, came today after not being here two week and the catalytic was stolen. I stored my belongings here for a little over 6 years in a 5x5. The rate doubled in that time. On my move out date there was no one at the office and no one was answering the phone. I left a message for the manager that I was moving out as well as using the app to let them know I'm moving out. I was charged for the entire month 2 days after I moved out and they let me know they would not pro rate. I will never do business here again. read more

This place is a scam what a shame on you guys! I had a unit here almost a year ago and when I left I contacted the manager letting them know I wasn't going to be needing it after paying my last month I'm still being blown up and harassed and being spoken to rudely by them when I no longer have a unit with them and paid the last month I was with them. Today I got a call from collections for 800$ lol What a joke public storage ! I'll be disputing that :) We have emails of proof of me speaking with the manager letting him know I know longer need the h it and I'm leaving after paying my last month and letting them know I'm gone and my unit is cleaned and emptied out. Since my last review my storage unit was broken into twice. I had the maximum insurance but with over $22,000 of items broken or stolen I received $800 after fighting with their insurance company for 7 months. Not only did the manager at this crappy Hell-hole not contact the police after the first break-in, he didn't repair the thief's entry point allowing the thieves to return a second time. The employees seem to be genuinely concerned but that's meaningless when it comes to your stuff being stolen or damaged. If you are dumb enough to store your things here you had better take pictures of EVERY item or have receipts. Even then they depreciate EVERYTHING. Example. Six of the items that were stolen were jackets from Deep Space Nine. These were given to the crew on set during the filming of the series. Each valued over $2,000 but I received nothing from insurance because I didn't have photos. Look at the reviews of this place and read about the numerous thefts. Those of us that have lost stuff here have not conspired against this place. We're trying to give you our experiences allowing you to make a wiser decision. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. I am giving them one start because only one employee gave me honest customer service. I got a storage online and got $1 for the first month. ***They will force you to get insurance. ***They also try to rip you off with the locks, they don't accept just any lock for your storage. If you have a lock they will try to give you a different storage that does not work with your lock. I made all my payments online and the first worker had told me I was paid until the following month, 2 weeks after I got a request for payment. No where in the website you will find how long is your payment covered just know that every first of the month your payment is due even if you got your storage on the 20th of the month. They request that you go into the office before you vacate when I showed up they wanted me to pay for the month that had already been paid 2 days before. I told the workers I had already paid it online and she took a second look. ****They will also try to charge you if your storage is not clean but when you receive it it's dusty and dirty. You will also get tons of junk mail from moving companies after getting my storage from here. Never again. Will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

If I could give zero stars I would!! If you value your items do not go to this storage facility, they have had multiple break ins and the owner has done nothing to prevent this. They have a gate that is not even locked so any old joe can walk in and break into your unit. This is pure negligence from the owner, this facility has been broken into many many times, don't believe what the managers say they are lying if they say it has only happened once or twice. The police have been called there for this particular reason many times. THEFT HAPPENS HERE and they do nothing to prevent it!!! read more

First day I went there they said I didn't rent my unit there it was the one down the street. I went to that one and they said no there and they told me no your rental is the first public storage you went to BUT now it's too late it's 5:48 and we're closing come back tomorrow. WELL here comes tomorrow and I go back I'll to the first one and the bit$h has a complete attitude and laughed and said you don't need a 10×10. Bit$h you don't know what the F$ck I need if I'm a paying customer I'm going to pay for WHAT I WANT. She was completely rude and a condescending bit$h. Bring your storage here!! I have had my storage at 1510 Pomona Road in Corona, CA for about a year and a half, & the reason I stay is mainly Jenn, the Manager. She and her staff really care about the safety of our belongings. They do daily checks on our locks to be sure our stuff is safe. And every time I go in to my storage, which can be weekly, all staff are friendly & helpful. Yay, Jenn!! read more

Their office also has a tons of packing supplies (box, wrap, tape, etc) to make your move even that much easier. WARNING DO NOT GO TO THIS PUBLIC STORAGE! ! ! When I first went there I had some great customer service and decided to go with them for my storing needs. Then they told me I needed to buy there insurance when I told them I have renters insurance they still said no you need to get ours. Later I was informed by corporate no you don't need to buy our insurance as long as you have renters insurance and you don't have to prove it. Next day I get a phone call saying that I owe an additional 30 dollars for what it's the prorated rate for what I got the unit on the 30th. And this is the second what's prorated from the 28th to the 30th had I known that I would of gone somewhere else. On that day I told the guy cancel my insurance I don't need it, he never did. This place is a crock and if you want to be lied then go here if you want to be treated with respect and not lied to go to Dollar Storage the gentleman works with you and helps you out in getting the best deal. I am rating this storage horrible because I have been harrased by Jennifer. She is very rude. I have had this unit for two months at $200+ a month. Although I have only visited the property four times in total, each time she would pop up and has voiced various options about my personal life. This last time I visited the unit she came at 9:05pm to inform me that I was five minutes late leaving, so I can no longer go to my unit unless it was during office hours. She is very unprofessional and seems to be there all the time. I have been so put off by her that I wouldn't rent with Public Storage again as a whole. read more
