The woman at the front desk was super patient when I was picking out my unit size - no pressure at all. My monthly rate is fair compared to other places I looked at, and being able to get in whenever I need to is a huge plus. read more

By far this has been one of the few horrible experiences I've ever encountered. I'm a small business owner who rented a space unit in this location to keep my merchandise. I've been undergoing going health issues on top of that I'm a new mom to a 7 month old therefore I had to take a two month break from visiting my unit. Upon returning my unit was broken into from the inside. About 5k worth of merchandise was stolen. I've complained and have asked for any sort of compensation for the merchandise that was stolen. As this unit space has such a poor design that it's fairly easy to have your unit broken into from the inside. read more

A bunch of crooks. Started rent of a storage at $90.00. Not even 2 months later they increased it to $164. They send you ths non descript letter with no identification. Terrible business practice. I definitely do not recommend this place. They wait until you move in a lot of stuff in so its inconvenient for you to move out then increase the price to almost double. read more

Bait and switch. They increased my rent price to almost double and I've only been renting for probably 5-6 weeks. Avoid this place. I called customer service and said they can decrease the monthly... This was by far the easiest storage renting experience I have ever had. I was able to simply look them up from my phone, sign up, sign contracts, get my access code via email, pulled up to the unit, opened the door. The lock was waiting inside and I was ready to go. Let me add that this was all done in a 15 to 30 minute period from start to finish. I've had storage facilities in the past, and it was a timely process, not to mention I had to bring my own lock. Love the fact that it's already provided and keep things super simple. The follow up phone call I received the next day just adds to the level of customer service. This location offers. This place totally helped me out when I was moving out my stuff. I moved far away from this location and I had to get my stuff out. I got all the way there and realized I forgot my key. The lady at the front desk was kind enough to cut the lock for me so I did not have to drive all the way back (in traffic). I think this is a convenient location when it comes to living in Corona, Norco, and Eastvale, even west riverside would work too. I went to this location because they offered a 10x5 storage unit for $80 a month. I was not able to beat that price and had left my old storage to come here instead. read more

The unit I was given -- a 10x10 hasn't been serviced in probably 10 years. No one bothered to fix the bent door which makes it extremely hard to close and the door that's so hard to open because of the aging metal, is, I am afraid going to throw my back out. It's the worst unit I've ever rented, and I've rented a lot of storage units. I guess this is all justified because I'm getting a "free month". read more

They did renovations in 4/21 damaged my personal items and raised my rates twice since signing up . I was told insurance was mandatory but it's optional. I've requested cancellation of insurance , Sonia Fleming said she would but never did . I went to the office and said I will not pay for insurance because it didn't cover the damages they have caused themselves . Instead charged me holding my stuff for auction because I refused . I had to pay it to get my stuff out. So basically forced me .Richard the other manager would not do anything about it.They charged me more and more fees never reimbursing for damages that the insurance doesn't cover because it was done my extra space and not burglary, floor or fire reason. They since raised my rates by double, ignored my complaints and damage. All responsible are managers Richard , Sonia Fleming, Holly Castillo and Shane who all lied and have ignored me till this day all for $333 worth of damages and $14 a month for 1 year . I I filed with BBB and I will go to any length to get justice for their crimes, neglect and misleading us to think we had to buy their insurance, locks and pay the increased rates right after you sign up. read more

We unexpectedly had to sell our home and move to another state. It was crazy, but the folks at Extra Space Storage in Corona, CA, took great care of us and made the transition much less stressful. They even allowed us to secure a larger unit the very day of our move because our stuff would not have fit into the unit we initially rented. Thank you guys, for everything!!! Note: The only less than positive experience was a drastic 25% increase in monthly fees, from ($320 to $400 per month). Good thing we moved after just one month of having to pay the extra amount. I suppose that was a corporate decision but it seemed a bit excessive. read more

I'm not looking for much. It's storage. I want access and an easy website and a way way to retrieve my (much forgotten) password. This place fits the bill. I've rented here in Corona twice and once in Riverside (unfortunately they sold that property so I moved my crap to Corona again). They are affordable and their website is not only easy but you can do everything on it...give notices, send emails, buy more units, make payments, setup recurring payments, get receipts, annnnnnd.....figuring out my unit number and password. This has to be the worst storage I have ever had in my life & I've had quite a few. I can't understand why everyone says it's so clean here. The only thing that I see that's clean is the outside which I will give you that but inside my unit it looks like it was raining dirt there is so much in there all over my stuff. If it wasn't such pain I'd take everything out & go to a better place but I guess I'm just stuck here paying to have my stuff ruined. Lets say you purchase your OWN lock, from anywhere, and put it onto YOUR storage unit. They will put a green sticker saying "Extra Space Storage" on it, that is really hard to remove. I have explained to them that it is my property, and I did not ask for this type of "security". They insisted that it is "policy", and "sorry", and "here is a complimentary lock" which also gets the lovely sticker put on it. This is what pisses me off the most. First of all, I pay for that storage. Secondly, I paid for my OWN lock. And third, how is that even remotely secure?! If anybody wanted to cut my lock to get in, trust me when I say, they will find out your policies first, and copy them. All they need to do is rent a storage unit for the low price, cancel the storage after getting your sticker on their lock. Then, cut my lock, steal whatever they want, and put THEIR lock with YOUR STICKER back on the unit! I mean, come on! How naive can you be!? This alone is pissing me off. My OWN personal lock had to have residue removed from it, from the sticker. Which is just annoying at most. Then, their "fix" was to give me a cheap ass, easily breakable, "complimentary lock" so they can use their dumb sticker for "security reasons". Very displeased. Very unhappy. And will NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. DO NOT GO HERE, they obviously do NOT know how to be secure! You can't have security with a dumb sticker! ALSO, they had this stupid checklist on my unit when I first moved in? Yeah, marked off "lights checked/working" or whatever, meaning they should work? They don't. I told them about this, and they never fixed it the WHOLE time I was renting there. I really don't care because I rarely show up at night but, obviously they do not stay on top of "inspections" like they act like they do, and do not fix customer concerns at all. read more

After replacing the door on our storage unit you guys failed to inform us as paying customers that our items could potentially be ruined by the dirt, dust, and white film during the replacement process. Go take a look for yourself and see how every item in my unit is now covered in dirt and dust and this is unacceptable! On top of that, I don't even want to be in contact with management specifically Jessica whose attitude has been far from pleasant when dealing with me. read more

I had to have a storage unit in a hurry for someone else. So I went with the least expxensive one I could find. What a joy. Employees so helpful explaining and adding to the conversation subjects I did not know to ask. I needed someone to move some very heavy items. They had a list I could call. They didn't want to suggest a certain person over someone else but I could read between the lines and the person I hired was so helpful even taking me to Home Depot so I did't get lost.
