After the third rent increase, I opened my storage unit to find FOUR RATS literally jumping on my belongings. Ninety-five percent of my stuff was COVERED in rat shit, boxes torn apart, and everything contaminated. I was 7.5 months pregnant standing there dealing with this disgusting, unsafe mess. Absolutely vile. And to make it worse? No one is EVER in the office. read more

RAT INFESTATION and no apparent mitigation efforts by management though they concede they've known of the problem. Moved all my items out and filing an insurance claim. DISGUSTING feces, urine, and that black greasy slime they leave behind all over my stored items. Get your stuff out if you've already got a space. If you're looking for a unit, go elsewhere! read more

I love my storage unit here! The store manager was so helpful with providing information regarding the unit and store hours. Love the location and that it's not a huge lot, I highly recommend getting a unit here if you're looking for one! Very clean as well compared to ones I've used in the past. read more

I made a reservation for storage on line. Tiffany showed me a storage unit and we discovered ants in it. She said that won't do and found me another one the same size but ant free and had a more straight forward shape. read more

I'm so mad with this company! I have been with them for a while. One thing that they don't like telling their customers is that they will keep raising the rent no matter what. I went from only paying $75 for a 5x10 small unit to now paying almost $300!!!!!!!!!!!!. Not only did they not tell me about the rent increase every other month but now you can even get a hold of nobody on the phone from the property. Now u have to schedule an appt just for a question. To top it all off there was always trash around outside my unit area. One day found a used drug needle right next to my unit door. I was so mad!!! I called customer service and he had an I don't care attitude. I was always sweeping around my area. Public storage likes to lie to its customers and I'm done!!!!! I scheduled my move-out date. Today I talked to a manager from customer service to let him know that I was not paying for the whole month but he had a little attitude with me and was talking to me like I was stupid. He did not care what I had to say! Overall experience is horrible! Don't ever go with public storage!!! Can't believe I stayed with them! But this last increase and incident I'm so done!!!!! They don't care about their customers it's all about the money!!!! read more

Super easy to rent a storage spot here. I did everything online and did not even have to go into the office, it was very quick and reliable for my last minute move. It is also incredibly secure so everything feels safe to keep here. Super appreciate you Public Storage! read more

They charge unreasonable fees and they are not willing to make the customer happy. They cut off the locks when the rent is late even if they stop access with the gate code. I asked to be notified if the locks were to be cut because I had a family irloom lock from ww2 on it . They cut with dis regard to the customer request. I would never recommend this storage facility and I will never do business with them again . I would recommend cube smart or extra space storage both of them care about the customer. read more

I needed an outside access unit and was at another facility that didn't have one. The Manager (Michaela) was on the phone with the property I was viewing, and had the exact unit I was looking for, and less expensive! I rushed over there and Michaela showed me the unit and I was out of there with exactly what I needed in about 15 minutes! Happy Camper! read more

It's nice .. piece is good .. they are super great on the phone .. just not a very clean place lots of trash

Rented a storage unit today, rates were high but Sam made it worth it l. She deserves a promotion!

I was from out of town helping an older family member downsize from a large unit to a smaller one. The office personnel were so nice and helpful. They found me a unit around the corner from the current one, so didn't have to move stuff very far. Got the paperwork squared away quickly and had emails with all relevant information before I left for the day. Was a super easy transition. Thanks so much! read more

I will be moving my stuff out ASAP. Customer service is AWFUL as well as the store managers.

I'll give it 2 ONLY because the on site staff there is and always have been fantastic. Unfortunately that fantastic on site staff cannot determine anything administrative on their own and are 10% required to defer to written corporate policy, which makes sense in many circumstances but does not take into account or leave room for any individual human element. I've been told the area manager --who never returned my calls or responded in any way to my requests-- is no longer with the company. Unfortunately it is still 10% on Public Storage that their written corporate policy mandates the treatment of long time loyal customers as 2nd class citizens. read more

Alycia was awesome. She was filling in at this location and still helped me as if it were her own. I recommend this place over extra space any day. read more

I've been calling the past couple days to get my insurance info the phone just rings. I've left messages. And now the office is closed. These people could care less about other people's belongings. Please don't place your things here, or anything sentimental. Ever. It'll get taken n the lady up front couldn't care less. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. Should be ZERO STARS. Choose any other storage provider over this one. Been a customer at this location for 10 years. Paid on time every month. Over those years, the unit price went from $55 to $129 per month. Now need to move out and office is stating must pay for the full month no matter when the unit is emptied. They are not willing to prorate. Was told that If don't pay the full month, they will send me to collections. They would go to all that trouble and expense rather than take the $38.70 for the days the unit was used. Being a longstanding customer that always paid on time for 10 years makes no difference here. Go to Sentry Storage instead. Lower rates and they prorate so you only pay for what you need. What a concept - meet the customers needs instead of price gouging and threatening collections for value of less than $40. read more

Abraham was incredibly helpful and knowledge with the facility 's offers, as well as other Public Storage facilities functions (e.g., security cameras and the superior use of their locks). Highly recommended. FYI Active Military are eligible for discount, so make sure to ask. read more

The staff hear is awesome!! Kalena really too the time to handle all my questions and show me around. I really liked her excellent customer service. The location is really good for me too. The onsite manager there is very nice she's always willing to give you whatever information that you might need to make your experience there is comfortable as possible. Only thing I don't like about public storage now is the hours that they keep the gates you only have access from I think 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. which is completely undoable for me as I am working from 9:00 to 5:00 everyday sometimes on the weekends so I never have an opportunity to even go to my storage take anything out or put anything in because I get off from work when they close which is extremely inconvenient for me that would be the only reason I think I would relocate to another company other than that the manager on site manager is great I give her four stars. I think this company is catering to the criminals I think they're closing early as a result of homeless people and people breaking in to storage units. Instead of thinking of the customers convenience they don't consider the customers hours of their operation . I think that by closing at 5:00 p.m. they think they're going to cut down on the homeless people trying to stay in their units but why are you catering Why are you making a customer suffer so that you can try to cut out the homeless people that come on your property or that rent from you Just don't rent to them read more

Employee, Kalena lies to get you to the store! Then changes what she said and makes you pay full price. So dirty! I was told I had a 10x18 drive up storage unit to rent at noon. I drove over 1 hour to get here and when I got here on time I was told, "sorry we have your unit but there is no deal" so we'll need the monthly payment now. Store #20150 is a scam!!! read more

I only gave 4 stars because I feel they delete 5 stars. I am more than impressed with both Renae and Kae at this location. They are absolutely amazing and made the whole event very easy. When I moved out of my unit I had a GIGANTIC TV and Kae went above and beyond to help me get rid of it! She did more than I ever would expect or ask. I would go out of my way to rent a unit from this location if needed in the future! Service is EVERYTHING and these girls have it!!!!! Thank you so much tenfold for making what should be stressful, extremely easy!!!!! read more

Jyll was very very nice. She was very friendly and answered all of my questions and concerns since this was my first time having to rent storage. The prices were great and Jyll did a lot to make sure that I was getting what was best for my needs rather than just trying to up sell me. I would definitely recommend this storage place again. read more

My wife and I went to two other competitors that were not very friendly before coming to the Sylvan Public Storage location. When we came into the door Kae greeted us with a very nice upbeat attitude and was awesome at explaining everything to us. Every time we come into the facility Kae will come by to greet us and ask if we need anything. Kae is a very hard working person with a great outlook on life. We are glad to be at this location because of her great attitude. We are happy that we made the choice to try a 3rd location and found this facility! read more

This is the 2nd time I rented space at this facility to declutter my house. The place is very clean and well maintained. I especially like the fact the they did not try to over sell me on the size unit I needed. Renee is awesome and tops when it comes to being customer focused. Great at offering suggestions to maximize the unit space. She called me one time when the unit was left unlocked and secured it until I could get there. If you are considering renting space, I highly recommend the Sylvan Rd location. They are tops in what they do. read more

I'm going through a difficult personal situation and just the thought of putting my belongings in storage was heartbreaking. Public Storage has been a constant anchor in my community and I felt it was a name I could trust. I walked into Ranaes office, a little nervous to be making this transition in my life, and I was immediately put at ease. Ranae was helpful and understanding. The unit I rented was clean, secure, and had no sign of water intrusion, pests, or other issues you can sometimes find in storage facilities. read more

I just have to say thank you Renee. I recently found out I am deploying. Rather than having all my stuff stored through the government, I decided to store my most important belongings and rent out my house to a friend. Renee has been very helpful and flexible with me. I could not have asked for a better person to help me on this major step before my deployment. Thank you Renee. Hope to see you in about a year. read more

My experience from the initial call with a call center rep to storing my belongings was A+ and above stellar. Jessie (Call center rep) was an absolute joy and went over a mile beyond my expectations. Customer care that he gave is missed these days and he was definitely a breath of fresh air. Tarin (location manager) was extremely helpful and although she had somewhere to be (we came last minute around closing like everyone else lol) she didn't make me feel rushed or brushed off. I commend her for keeping a welcoming smile on her face despite all the chaos that was going on (non-customer drama) on the property. Her skills are missing in sooooooo many other establishments. Kuddos to Tarin and Jessie for not forgetting it's the customer that needs servicing and not their own egos! read more
