The cost was comparable to the 2 other quotes I had received. On the day of the move, I ended up in the hospital, and with a few friends to direct the process in my absence, it really went off without a hitch!!!!!!! When it came time to deliver everything, they were efficient and careful with most things and nothing was broken in the process. there were 3 issues... 1) they could not get a couch out of the old apartment (Even though it was brought in) and they left it and I had to pay to dispose of it. 2 )When they unloaded everything unbeknownst to me a number of items were placed in the garage. (I am in a wheelchair and couldn't watch everything. I had to pay someone else to bring them in to the condo. 3 ) I spent $250 for $25,000 in additional insurance and after unpacking I realized the tub with an essential computer for my business was missing. The computer while valued at $800 was secondary to the files and records on it that were not all able to be backed up. When I tried to find out what happened they said they talked with the lead mover and they didnt know what happened to it. And because I was still sick from being in the hospital and couldn't unpack everything quickly, they said because it was 14 days later that I could not make a claim. While the move was accomplished and with relatively little trauma, I can not recommend Orly moving.

The entire process from getting an accurate quote, to the team showing up on time, taking care of the items (they did the packing up of my mom's stuff as it was too difficult for me), to moving items to their eventual place, was easy. I used a different mover (found on CraigsList) when I moved out of my home into my apartment and I ended up doing at least 1/2 of the work. For my mom's move I sent Liz pictures of what was in her room, the team showed up on time after calling me when they were a few minutes out, were kind, packed things with care, and made sure I understood the process. Frankly the bar is so low for this type of work, that it isn't hard to be disappointed (showing up on time? Charging what the quote reflected?). The local team is great. Payment was easy. They work their butts off. When I eventually move again, I will only use Orly.

My kids and I…read morewere discriminated and harrassed constantly by the front office female employee / employees. she would actually park her car near the dumpsters and spy on my kids and myself as I was trying to get idems from my storage unit then my minor daughter was harrassed by employees when she was using the bathroom on their property within proper business hours the constant harassment and discrimination was so bad that my associate confronted the female office employee that was harassing, discriminating against me and my kids which according to the phone conversation it's clear my kids and I were discriminated against due to our hardships at the time which I made the mistake and disclosed while purchasing the storage unit while in distress it was then used against me and my kids I never lived or attempted to live in my storage unit I frequently came to my storage unit to gather items for my kids and myself within proper business hours plus we don't have a car and their exit gate system will not open if you're not in a vehicle so unfortunately (after office hours) still within proper business hours in order to get off the storage facility property my minor daughter had to slide though the small opening near the entrance gate to punch in my code information so we can exit the storage facility which we were confronted about as well (FYI change your exit gate system so people without a car and leave everybody doesn't have a car ) ) the harassment and discrimination became so bad that I was concerned about the well being of my kids and myself while this business property not knowing what the employees were capable of doing so when I would go to get items from my storage unit my associate would drive me and my kids there to make sure we were not harrassed or discriminated against then while I was still allowed authorization and access to my storage unit I got all my items and cleaned out my unit for the last time because I refused to allow my kids and myself to be constantly harrassed, discriminated by employees plus while removing all my items for the last time at this storage facility with my associate present with me and my kids I realized that it was a serious mice infestation (we had no food in unit) 200.00 worth of our items where destroyed past reviews regarding rodent infestation is TRUE I recommend people to look elsewhere to store their belongings plus after I sent them a letter notifying them that I'll no longer be using their storage facility by mail due to constant harassment and discrimination according to the my storage agreement they're now trying to scam me saying I owe money/lien I owe them nothing if anything they owe me money for my property that was destroyed by the rodent infestation at their storage facility plus the harassment and discrimination if they continue to harrass me I'll seek legal action against this business.

4.5 out of 5 stars…read more Generally, the moving experience was fine. However, like a lot of moving companies they have absorbent fees that are only mentioned after the move. The fuel/transport fee was above average especially given the move location was only a 2 miles distance. They added an extra mover the day off bc we have stairs. Though that was their decision, we were charged above the quoted rate for the additional person. I paid cash, which gave us a 10% discount but with all the extra fees, the 10% isn't much of a savings. I still tipped and nothing was broken or damaged during the move. They also arrived on time and helped taped boxes that needed additional reinforcement. Boxes were placed on the appropriate rooms based on the labels. I would hire them again but would budget for 15-20% more than what they quote.

The worst moving experience of my life. Took them over 10 hours to move me into a two bedroom…read moreapartment. Scratched up furniture, broke items & stripped nuts/ bolts during reassembly. Leaving most items unassembled and taped or boxed up. The lead mover even threatened and did leave unfinished because I asked if the bolts on my bed were being stripped, as I could hear the drill stripping them. Then attempted to charge double what was quoted, charging me extra for an additional mover I didn't request and for unnecessarily used tape. They literally wrapped tape around a mattress and taped up sofa pillows and charged me an additional $165 for packing supplies used. But somehow managed to scratch up my entire dinette, chairs included. Giving them 1 star is being generous; there is nothing professional about them.
