I was involved in a minor vehicle accident on-site and was subjected to prolonged verbal harassment by another customer while the on-duty manager laughed, failed to intervene, and left the property before police arrived. This created an unsafe environment and worsened an already stressful situation. Law enforcement later confirmed that staff should have de-escalated. I do not feel safe using this location. Police agreed I was not the aggressor nor was the damage enough for the verbal assault and management laughing along as I'm getting called "dumb bitch" "idiot" non stop for 30min and kept going when police arrive for over an hour. Didn't do a thing to make sure I was safe and I no longer feel safe to have my belongings there. Mary already previously harassed me for a Google review and wouldn't leave me alone until I had. I had knocking on my car doors etc. and deleted that review AND ONLY MADE THE GOOD REVIEW TO HAVE HER LEAVE ME ALONE. Those good reviews are because she demands them from guest and doesn't stop. Meanwhile the elevators have not worked many times I have come the past year and the door was broken leading to this whole accident. She does not run the property well with things always not working and will be contacting the business bureau and already let upper corporate know about my safety concerns. read more

I spent hours trying to find someone who could help me identify a storage unit in the Southlake TX area that would meet some specific requirements and was about to give up due issues trying to connect with a live person to provide answers only a person on the premises could answer. As a result of one of the customer services errors, I was given a number to the Lakeway TX facility at 2513 Ranch Rd 620 N, Austin, TX 180 miles away, where I connected with Mary. She stopped what she was working on and went to work contacting everyone she thought might be able to help me until she was able to get me connected with someone at the Public Storage Self-Storage facility located at 4874 Keller Haslet Road, Keller, TX 76244. This took about 2 hours with me calling her back until we finally got Caitlin on the phone who was able to find a storage unit that worked for our needs. Mary and Caitlin were able to Provide me with the assistance I needed and overcome my desire to abandon my pursuit of a storage unit through Public Storage where they made a customer by overcoming this failed customer service system. This review is for Mary working at the Public Storage at 2513 Ranch Rd 620 N. Austin, TX. 78734. This past weekend I was in desperate need for my son's and my winter coats. I hadn't rotated them out with our seasonal cloths yet. Temperatures were supposed to get very cold and we were going out of town for the weekend. Unfortunately, I was between checks and my bill was past due. Denying me entry into the building. Completely embarrassed, I went into the front office to ask if I could just get the coats. Mary was the one working that day. She was an angel and allowed me to follow her back to the unit so I could retrieve the coats. I had over $4,500 worth of business equipment stolen from here and the insurance refused to cover it because there was no sign of forced entry. The burglars took everything that could fit in the space between the top of the door and the ceiling where the fire system pipes pass through from unit to unit. Initially I was relived because I was paying for the $15/month insurance Public Storage require you to obtain which covers up to $5,000 in goods. After totaling up the receipts, filing a police report, meeting with Sheriff's deputies, and filing a claim, I went ahead and purchased new equipment to replace the stolen items. Brandon that works here is awesome, he's always smiling, helpful and greets you when he sees you. I cannot say the same for the area manager Gennifer. It took her a few weeks to respond to me after several phone calls and emails. What finally got a response was cc'ing all the other area managers listed on LinkedIn. The insurance company, which is called Sedgwick, is a third party, and is from overseas, refused to pay. I know they are overseas because they would reply to my emails on around a 12 hour time difference, which made basic communication about my claim difficult. After reading other reviews of Sedgwick, I see I am not the only one who has had their claim denied. By contrast, my homeowner's policy covered some of the stolen goods but because they were business items, the limit was far lower than the total value of items stolen. I tested out how the burglars got into my unit and it still works. Of course there have been no changes made to the way the facilities operate and they had no camera footage to offer as proof of the thefts. As a small business owner, $4,500 is a lot of money for me to cover. If you store anything of value here buyer beware and look into your homeowners policy rather than rely on the insurance they offer when you store there. read more

Best experience I've had with a storage unit. The price for a 10X10 is 35% less than the cubesmart right across the street... and the building is brand new so no matter which unit you get you'll probably be the first person to ever use it. Also the manager of this location, Brandon, is super helpful and really friendly... he's the polar opposite of the angry guy I met that runs the storage units across the street. read more

With a 30 minute drive ahead of me, I was able to pay, get my storage number and also get access to the door before I even made it to the place; I didn't even need to talk to a human, I arrived, opened the door with my phone and was good to go. We recently rented a storage unit at this location. First off, i booked a ground floor unit, which was confirmed in the email I received as well. However, when we got there, our actual unit was on the second floor. We got there after 5, which means there was no one in person that I could ask about this. When I tried calling the company's number, I was on hold for 30 min before I gave up. After moving our stuff in, we exited and realised we had two lamps left in the front seat. At this time it was 9:10pm, 10 min into what they call after hours. When we tried putting in our code to enter the facility, we were directed to a phone number and were ON HOLD once again. The phone was NEVER ANSWERED and we could not enter again. another couple has the same issue while we were there. In summary, bad customer service, promising us the wrong unit and there is NO WAY TO ENTER AFTER 9 pm, which seems like a major business flaw. read more
