I went to add my items to my unit and 1. No one was in the office during office hours. 2. I asked someone moving her stuff in if she knew where the office people were. She said for me to check this tiny hut in the back. I knock on the door and the woman inside tells me that the sign on the door says private and to please not knock and leave. Talk to the office people. I said they weren't there. She said call the 800 number. I said I did... she looked at my until I left. 3. I decided that I'll at least go up and see my unit, and the picture above is what I find. Someone has been trying to break into a unit that obviously has nothing in it, by literally breaking through the door. I will not be returning and I'll be trying to get my money back. This place is SO not worth it. Also, the app that is supposed to allow you access is very slow and unresponsive. read more

Theeeeee WORST!!! Elevator down AGAIN for the 3rd time in 8 months! Our 10x10 unit was $54 when we secured it a year ago, (thinking we were getting a bargain) - and now it's $178 per month. Also - no bathrooms / no one EVER answers the phone and is NEVER in the office! The place is filthy and I always feel like I might get mugged whenever I'm there. Trying to move out but can't get my stuff out because............ did I mention......THE ELEVATORS AREN'T WORKING AGAIN! They need to just shut this shit hole down and condemn the building! Out of all the public storages this might be the worst one. If the elevators stop working be prepared to move your stuff up flights of stairs I was on the 6th floor. Also they have two broke down carts to "help"move your things. Very much hell read more

I've been here a few times as my employer has several units in the building. It's relatively clean and usually getting in and out is hassle free. Sometimes the doors don't work or the parking lot is filled with cars BL parked the wrong way making it hard to move items in and out. The rare time I have needed to speak to an employee, she wasn't very friendly nor willing to help. Overall, they do the job and it works. read more

I reserved my storage sat I was told personally that they closed at 6 the next day which was Sunday I rented the uhaul made it to the storage Sunday at 5:30 they were closed. Property has now installed a drain in the driveway, it used to get up to a foot deep. Their cost savings turned motion lights off within 5 seconds, this has been corrected now. Facility difficult to get in and out, elevators are in bad shape and they've double their rates within a year. Choose elsewhere. read more

I had 2 storage units at the same Public Storage location in Atlanta Georgia. I was paying $65 and $109 for the 2 units. I finally consolidated and closed out my smaller unit in August. In October, my bill increased to $208 for just the 1 unit. They gave me the run around and I never got any reason or resolution to the price increase other than they could in the contract. I find it very odd that they decided to stipulate this increase the next month pay cycle. I would have moved and closed both sheds in August if I knew this was the kind of business they run. Now I find myself facing the added expense to move everything again to a more reputable facility with a lower rate. read more

Public storage is the most disgusting I've ever used. It leaked water, the door was rusted and hard to open. The floor had cracks in it. I did the e-rental and they automatically charge you for a lock even if you don't need it. You have to go to a location that's open and available to get a refund for a lock you don't need. The location I was at the office was under construction. I left numerous messages and no one ever returned them. When it came time for me to move out I had to call customer service because after several messages to the office nobody ever call me back. If I'm charged, I'm disputing as unauthorized charged with my bank. What a disgusting experience. read more

What I will NEVER do is business with ANY public storage again ever. I made a reservation a week in advance. Flew from Dallas to Atlanta to move my daughter out of her dorm only to get to the public storage at 1230 pm and them to tell us that they took all the walk-ins and gave away our unit. Not one phone call, nothing. Shawn who stated he was the district manager offered no help and showed no concern. This wouldn't be a problem if we knew the city and could easily navigate to another facility. I called corporate the said I had to call district manager. I attempted to escalate higher. But the regional manager Shelly Gibson is unavailable. Now I have to travel all around Atlanta looking for a place for my daughter to store her things for the summer. People have to do better about taking care of their business. Another reason I made sure things were handled in advance was not only because we are from out of state but I also have cancer and knew I wouldn't have the energy to do much more. They just made our lives that much more complicated. But Shawn doesn't care. He and his staff get to go home at closing time and never be concerned with the poor business he is running. Don't take reservations of you are not available to hold up your end of the deal. read more

I have yet to meet the property manager , everything else is nice the only thing I suggest is when having units 2 floor and up they should have the elevator equipped to where you can keep the door open to load it up instead of it constantly closing while trying to load it up. Got my storage yesterday. Usually don't leave reviews but This was the BEST storage I've ever gotten. Its so big and clean. I was able to move my items in with no problem they had big elevators and i got my own code to walk in and add to my storage whenever i want (finishing today actually) I've had storage units in the past where it was soo complicated to go and sign up and store you stuff, this time was alot different. I did everything online and when i went my code worked which opened the gate and doors and then my storage unit was ready with my lock inside for me :) i was soo excited i said i HAVE to leave a review read more

Currently, I'm using this storage for my storing needs. The manager at this facility is a very cool and professional individual. Plus, I love the security of this facility as I have to enter the code whenever I want to store things inside my unit. Additional security indeed. First of all I really want to start by saying our experience with Bryan was horrible. He seems to be a very rude and disgusting person with a terrible inconsiderate Attitude. Not only did he not smile, he didn't stand to assist us! It's always good to connect with your customers but he seemed to talk to us like we knew him or something!! Very impersonal! The $1 move in was not honored!!!! We had to pay for the remaining days in the month which I thought was ridiculous!!!! Nevertheless, we will never use This place or recommend it!!! read more

The security, staff, and ease of moving in and out here were all incredible. Although only there for a month while moving between Philly & Atlanta, the entire experience was a smooth one. I especially appreciate it having been a cool one. Bryant was great to work with during check-in. His sense of humor makes the expected boring process of getting a storage unit like borrowing space from a friend. With payment being set to auto-pay it is possible to pretend that that's the case. read more

Has ANYONE experienced a rate hike of their storage unit in just a few months? My rent went from $190 a month to $273.60 in just a few months. No explanation & no written response to multiple messages including emails on the site & at least 3, maybe 4 letters written & delivered to the location. I've never experienced this type of treatment before. I searched around for a good rate, & don't mind paying the additional fee when I'm late, but to increase so drastically is not fair & blackmail. read more

Bryant provided excellent customer service and had a very professional manner but the facility itself wasn't so great. Given, the downtown area is home to the homeless... but why did the service elevators have to smell like the homeless lived in the actual building? The halls were dimly lit which provided for an awfully spooky atmosphere (considering I may have to drop by at night sometimes), security cameras were few if any, and the space I was offered to store my belongings appeared as if someone had previously tried to enter the unit from the top because the caged roof was bent back and open. I wouldn't recommend this facility for safety concerns as well as the lack of quality security your belongings would most likely receive. read more
