The meat was not quality at all. It needed another 4 hours of smoking. This was a work holiday dinner for about 150 people and everyone was shocked at how bad it was. And it was not cheap. I only get to see them once a year when the Thomas the Train event happens in November But I think these guys nailed it with their BBQ. The ribs have that snappy texture when you bite into it. We recently held our annual law enforcement appreciation ceremony at March Air Field Museum and PTrain was our caterer. Not only were they on time, brought their own signage for their food, but they were pleasant, prepared, respectful and friendly. Our 500+ guests were able to enjoy an evening with the best smoked brisket and bbq chicken. (appetizers included salad, corn muffins, macaroni salad, potato salad, bbq beans) Guests were gushing over the amount of food and how delicious everything tasted. They also provided appetizers and deserts and two beverage stations that included water, ice tea, lemonade and coffee. The peach and berry cobbler was outstanding. If I could give more than 5 stars, I WOULD. Last year (2022), I was getting married! I wanted to treat our guests to a late night snack. I emailed 10+ different food trucks with no answers from any of them! At the end of October (I was getting married December 4th), I went on my bachelorette trip and a friend suggested Ptrains! My (now) husband and I love BBQ and thought that would be a fun end of the night treat! I messaged Ptrains and Caira messaged back immediately! Within the next few days, I was booked with Ptrains! Caira made it so easy and has great suggestions for the food. Come the night of the wedding, here she pulls up with a LITERAL train! I thought it was a small train BUT NO. The coolest looking train turned into a BBQ pit. Caira even bought a Christmas wreath to put on her train for us! Now, THE FOOD. One word: AMAZING. We got 2 different kinds of sliders, a few vegetarian sliders, Mac and cheese and corn bread. ALL SO AMAZING.
