We had brunch at Prusik and it totally lived up to the hype. Just a heads-up--it gets busy, so unless you've got a reservation, be prepared to wait. We got lucky and snagged a table around 1 PM when the rush started dying down. We ordered a little bit of everything: Chicken & Waffles - crispy, flavorful, and honestly one of the best versions I've had. Forager Frittata - packed with veggies and super satisfying. Shrimp & Crab Benedict - rich, savory, and a fun twist on a classic. We also tried the mimosas--they were good, just a little juicier than I'd prefer. If you like a stronger pour, maybe ask them to go lighter on the OJ. Now let's talk dessert. The Peach Cobbler Bread Pudding was hands-down the best part of the meal. Warm, sweet, and dreamy. I'd go back just for that. Service was great--friendly and fast even with how packed it was. The vibe is cozy and stylish, right in the heart of town, so it's an easy stop if you're wandering around Leavenworth. Overall, awesome spot for brunch. Just get there late or plan ahead! read more

During our visit to Leavenworth to revel in the enchanting Christmas lights, our group of hungry wanderers serendipitously discovered Prusik, a charming restaurant. Impressively, the menu catered well to vegetarians. Our selections included: Roasted Cauliflower: Delightfully flavorful, complemented by a delectable blue cheese aioli on the side. Enchantment Pizza: A basic yet impeccably executed pizza featuring mozzarella and tomato sauce. For beverages, we savored: Chronos: A skillfully balanced bourbon infused with thyme honey, earning my admiration. Snowwhite: A gin-based concoction with cranberry notes. The revelation of the sugar rim took a couple of sips to fully appreciate, ultimately rendering it delicious. The ambiance of Prusik was vibrant and lively, contributing to a delightful dining experience. The service was attentive, adding to the overall positive impression of this culinary gem. read more

The flavor combinations were unreal, and the presentation of every course was just as impressive. We did the tasting menu and everything was incredible, but the duck with cauliflower purée was hands down my favorite. I'm not even usually a cauliflower purée person, but OH MY GOD. Everything about that dish was perfect. The salmon with dirty rice was amazing, the sorbet was such a good reset, and the butternut squash mochi dessert with the cream, crumble and little citrus bubbles was the perfect ending. The service was also phenomenal. It didn't feel like we had one assigned server -- the entire staff worked together as one team and everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. I also loved that the atmosphere felt elevated without being stuffy. The staff dressed casually, the space was cozy, spacious and beautiful, the lighting was dim but still bright enough to actually appreciate the gorgeous presentation, and the music was at the perfect level. We came for my birthday and they brought out a candle with dessert, which was such a sweet touch. And for a tasting menu, we were FED. I was honestly getting full after the salmon and we still had several courses to go. We've spent $700+ at other tasting-menu restaurants and somehow left hungry. Mana was less expensive, we left completely satisfied, and the experience was better. 100% worth the price. Easily one of the best meals I've ever had, and I would come back to Leavenworth just to eat here again. 5 stars doesn't feel like enough.

It was a Wednesday night, and there were several empty tables, but only one server was waiting tables, so service was a bit slow. As we were seated and began to order, we both wanted The Northwest Expedition. Unfortunately, there was only one Elk Tenderloin Wellington left. The staff was incredibly nice and apologetic. They offered us a free alternative entree and an appetizer to start the meal, which was very generous. We chose to start with the Dungeness Crab Croquettes. They were delicious, with a crispy exterior and flavorful crab. A great way to start the meal. As we moved on to The Northwest Expedition, we found ourselves feeling a bit disappointed with some of the elements. The Winter Tide, featuring a Northwest oyster, was delicious, but the Coastal Bone Broth was a letdown. It had a strong fishy taste that we weren't expecting. The Forest Floor, featuring Chanterelle ravioli shaped like mushrooms, was creative and visually impressive. We felt the same way about the Into the Forest course, which featured Wild boar polpettone. This course was packed with flavor and substance. The Discovefy, unfortunately, was a miss for us. It featured a cold tomato and plum bisque. The temperature was unexpected, and the soup wasn't entirely smooth, which wasn't to our liking. While the Elk Tenderloin Wellington was tasty, the elk itself was gamey and a bit tough at times. The Pan-Seared Scallops, on the other hand, were the star of the show and easily what I would want to return for. For dessert, the Washington Apple Tarte Tatin was a warm and comforting dish, which feared an aged cheddar sablé, which added a nice savory flavor to this dessert course. Overall, it was not the meal I was expecting, but still glad I tried it!
