Mozzerella Sticks and a Pizza

The food was great! Pizza was cooked perfectly with a good balance of sauce to ingredients. Unfortunately, you have to order standing up which I think is unfit for a restaurant such as this. Luckily the service was very kind and accomodating. The place is very comfortable and the view of the street is quaint.

Ashley's Bend (delicious!)

Even though I'd been to Leavenworth plenty of times, I didn't even know this place existed, apparently it was once a pizza place but now expanded and very glad they did We came here looking for a juicy burger and man that menu looked good, we got there during brunch and the place wasn't packed but had plenty of people. Honestly if you're in the area I would 100% stop by and grab some delights of the brunch variety Let's get back to the burgers, they burgers were tasty, it was a little over but that's not a huge deal on my end. There was an odd pickle going on though lol like it was just a warm cucumber? The fries were very tasty (fried in tallow I believe) the drink I had (Ashley's Bend ) was very very yummy Will be back to try some other goodies

The service was not great. Our server made us feel that we were bother by showing up more than anything else. We ordered a burger, pizza, coke and an iced tea. The iced tea was $7, and was only about 5oz with no refills. If it was a larger glass, wouldn't have cared if there wasnt any. Burger sliders were tiny and should have been listed as an appetizer. The pizza was very good, no complaints there. Overall, felt the place was overpriced for what you get. Don't think I would return. I'm all about service and value for what you pay.

Papardelle bolognese

We started with the focaccia. The spiced tomato oil was really good, but it would've been nice to have a little bit more. I ordered the pappardelle bolognese. The pasta was very good but the sauce was a little too rich. My partner ordered the dragon tail pizza. The base and fillings were well made but the pizza was very salty. Overall, we had a good meal, though I did feel that the food at Pruisk's sister restaurant Larch was better.

Arrived our first night unable to get a seat at Larch (wish I could tell that story) but anyway found this spot and it was a great meal after a long day of traveling. We decided to just have appetizers because they looked so good and the foods had alot of toppings that my kids were not up to trying out. This ended up working in our favor because the 4 dishes we got fed a family of 4 and was the perfect amount. The cauliflower and the tenderloin kabob was our favorites, but each dish was tasty cooked perfectly. The server was the sweetest. They had made a mixed drink that was amazing, she ended up writing down the recipe so we could try to make it back home. It was an awesome end to our first night.

My mom and I came here for an early dinner recently. We were eager to try this newer place, since we are both fans of Larch! This place is definitely more casual than Larch, and has a bit more variety to choose from. We started with the seasonal peach salad, which was quite large, but did not come with many peaches and a small amount of cheese. Then we shared the pesto pizza with crispy prosciutto. This was not bad flavor-wise as I liked the saltiness from the meat and the pesto. The crust was ok, maybe could have been a bit crispier though. However the highlight of the meal for me was the steak skewers. These were so tender and flavorful and comes with a delicious dipping sauce. Don't miss these! The service was excellent!

We came here for brunch and HOLY COWWWW it was freaking amazing. Like seriously the best brunch I've been had. I was torn between the biscuits and gravy and the pork belly eggs benedict and they allowed me to get a half order of the biscuits and gravy so that I could enjoy both! Truly top 5 biscuits and gravy I've ever had and the BEST benedict I've ever had. Not to mention - the benedict came with potatoes and a delicious dipping sauce. I'll be dreaming about this meal for years. My husband got the chicken and hush puppy waffle and it was delicious too! I got the espresso martini to drink and it packed a punch and had a unique spin on it that I've never tasted before in an espresso martini and it was delicious. I was bummed I didn't get to try the pizza because the dinner menu looked bomb. I'll definitely be back to try it when I am in Leavenworth next!

Buffalo ravioli was excellent. Cauliflower was tasteless and fries were mid.

First time here at Prusik. Sadly it will be our last time here looking at other reviews I am mind blown. We have heard good things about this place and we were excited to try it. We walked in and the very first thing we were met by was a very rude host. After telling him our party size he said "you need to be done by 4:45pm mind you it was 3:00 pm. We were taken back by his attitude and abrasive tone. W washed him again to repeat because we could not believe what we just heard. He said "you need to give up your table by 4:45pm. And of course we said yes. What a mistake we should have said no and left. Service was meh just ok. Our waitress came and we asked her if we were going to be asked to leave at 4:45pm she said I don't know. She checked with her manager and sure enough she told us we need to leave by 4:45pm she gave no reason just get out. Was it because of us having a baby with us or were we dressed wrong? Perhaps dare I say was it the way we look. We asked but were never told why. We had the several appetizers, pizza and fish and chips. Fish and chips were great the rest of the food was just ok it matches the attitudes. In the end since we were met with not being welcome or wanting our business. My wife was offended to the point of just wanting to leave. Mind you she does not get offended easy. One thing I can do is say is I promise our family and friends will never be back again! We have already changed our plans for our daughter's boyfriend's birthday dinner in Feb. he was shocked by how we were treated.

Dragontail Pizza

We ate at Prusik for our anniversary dinner. We got the Parm Truffle Fries to share, the Dragontail Pizza for me and the 8 Mile Game Burger for my partner. My partner loved the burger. I on the other hand, found the pizza and fries underwhelming. The service was just ok. We had a long wait for our food, even the fries. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Leek Dip

I was really looking forward to trying Prusik but honestly the meal was mediocre at best. The server, though nice, was not overly welcoming. The host however was wonderful! We ordered the focaccia starter and the leek dip starter (didn't realize how much bread we consumed) I don't think my husband realized the dip came with break, whoops! The focaccia had wonderful flavor but unfortunately it was undercooked and raw dough in the middle. The leek dip was the true star of the show and was amazing! My son ordered the dragon pizza and I ordered the one with fig. They were both okay, nothing amazing. My husband ordered the papperdelle and he said it was good but not worth the price. Overall it left us wanting more.

Best brunch in Leavenworth! The buckwheat pancakes were the best. Highly recommend checking it out. There wasn't a wait when we went and the service was speedy.

I'm not a vegan but today I got the Cauliflower steak out of pure curiosity and I absolutely loved it! I chose not to get the special Aoli sauce with it but the Balsamic Vinaigrette was delicious. The rest of the family got the Nashville hot Chicken sandwiches. We had a fantastic server, I think her name was Sam. Very clean and great looking building.

Shrimp crab cake Benedict w THE most original take on breakfast potatoes!! Unbelievable!!

Visited recently on our overnight trip to Leavenworth. Came for brunch and absolutely exceeded our expectations! Started off w Bloody Caesars - perfectly seasoned and originally garnished w olives, picked asparagus and a dill spear. Next up cheddar biscuits with House made Yuzu orange marmalade that was the best take on this breakfast stapled I believe I've ever had! So good! Unfortunately, they make it fresh daily and don't sell any to go. For our main dishes, we went w the forager frittata and shrimp/ crab Benedict Both were excellently, prepared, really original take on both dishes, enjoyed both very much. The surprise of the meal was the "fried" Yukon gold potato. I have never, in all of my potato, loving life, had a potato as unique as this. The potatoes are steamed to a doneness, smashed, and then fried in beef tallow. Finished with seasonings of Parmesan salt and pepper and other spices. The crispiness of the skin and the flavor of the beef tallow was simply divine! Our server was wonderful. Very professional and accommodating. Took pains to explain everything about the menu as well as shared the secret to the Yukon gold potatoes. Finally, the ambience and vibe of the place fit perfectly in the charm of Leavenworth. Don't know when I'll get back to Leavenworth, but when I do, this will be my first stop.

The service was good and the salad was good, but the pizza was just a typical pizza with an abundance of cheese. It was just an OK pizza.

Cant complain, and would definitely recommend coming here with a large group, family and kids, date night and sit on the roof, or even to just grab drinks in the bar! Our waitress even gave me a free dessert to celebrate my 40th! Everyone working was super friendly, and the place was packed with what seemed to be a lot of regulars. We tried the beef tar tar (skip), chicken parm (decent), beet salad (it was missing the pecans), and bread (they charge extra so make sure you know that before asking for more). They use the gelato from the store downstairs which is yummy! Overall if you want a decent meal with lots of Italian options, family friendly, sit outside, etc. This is a great spot! I forgot to take some pics but we were hungry lol. We had a party of 9. I had the pork chop that was excellent. The risotto was good but it was cold except the part under the meat. I didn't make a deal of it because I had left the table with my grandbaby. Everyone else said their food was great but the ones that had risotto said it was also cold. If I had to guess they plated the risotto too early before the meat was done. Gordon Ramsay would have had a fit lol. Our waitress was great very knowledgeable and attentive. Oddly when I asked what the specials were she told me I had to wait until she tells everyone else. Me and my wife are hard of hearing so when she told everyone I got about half of what she said . I didn't want to ask again so she didn't think I was being rude. To be fair I didn't tell her we could not hear. I have to say the busser Riana was excellent! She had our waters filled and plates gone fast. She was paying attention for sure. They often don't get recognition they deserve but she was great. All and all this place is great for us tried and true and seldom have any issues.

Another time I got the bean enchiladas, which were pretty simple and seemed like they could be on the kids menu, but I honestly really liked them (fried cheese yum). I remember back in the day (could have been previous owners) where the chips and salsas were free, so bummer that it is a paid add on now- unless you get the salad. I found the service to be kind of slow and inattentive, but the servers were nice. It seems like a bunch of kids home for the summer working, so expectations weren't crazy high to begin with. The menu has bar food options including burgers, sandwiches, wraps, hotdog, salads. The ambiance is dive bar, but clean. The wait staff were all quite friendly. Seat yourself, someone will stop by with menus and/or to take your drink order. Bathroom was surprisingly modern, clean and bright.
