Originally started coming here because of word of mouth from a neighbor. My dad has come here for a variety of issues over the years and I've come for brakes and oil changes here and there. For small things like oil changes there doesn't seem to a solid appointment system. It's almost as if they know they can squeeze it in but can't commit to a specific time which can come off unprofessional especially in today's times but I honestly don't mind it because of the quality of work they do. They also not only quoted me the best price for my brakes but also turns out it wasn't as big of a job as we thought so they saved me even more. There have even been some things we needed where they have been honest about it taking awhile to get done because they have so much to do, so it's nice to have the option to pick somewhere else and not have your vehicle held hostage until and unknown date. They also don't really have a waiting area so it's best to just drop off or take a walk to downtown. Sure there are some downsides in terms of personal service but it's 5 stars from me because of the consistent honesty, quality of work and the peace of mind to have a place I can actually trust with my vehicle.

Sometimes parts take time or no longer are made or hard to find, but they were able to find and repair smoothly while communicating well. The prices they have are reasonable. It's not the dealership, but the quality to me was just as good if not better and not paying the dealership prices. Our vehicle runs smoothly now thanks to these guys troubleshooting. I met with the seller of my vehicle at Aaliyah's Auto Shop for a pre-inspection. During the…read moreinspection, the owner, Jesse, informed me that my vehicle had a "very small" water pump leak and that the coolant level was low. He stated that he topped off the coolant with fluid and showed my husband a picture; however, the picture he showed was only of the coolant, not of an actual water pump leak. At no point was I shown a picture or physical evidence of a leak itself. Due to the stress of the transaction and being surprised by this diagnosis--especially since I regularly maintain my vehicle every three months--I did not ask to personally see the alleged leak at that time. Jesse also stated that the vehicle needed new brake pads because they were due for replacement. A few days later, I contacted Jesse to request a photo of the water pump leak. He then informed me that he did not have any photo of a leak--only a photo of the coolant. He went on to say that the car was otherwise "perfect," drove great, and that the only issues were the need for new breaks and a new water pump. Because of these inconsistent statements, I took it upon myself to have the vehicle inspected at a Honda dealership while also completing an oil change. The certified Honda mechanics did not find any water pump or coolant leaks (please see attached video). Additionally, they confirmed that the brakes were at approximately 50% life remaining and did not require immediate replacement. Based on these findings, I am deeply concerned about the accuracy and integrity of the inspection performed at Aaliyah's Auto Shop. It appeared that unnecessary repairs were recommended without sufficient evidence. Jesse also emphasized that his shop was the cheapest in town and that he offers the best prices, which further raised concerns that the diagnosis may have been influenced by sales motives rather than factual mechanical issues. I believe this experience demonstrates a lack of transparency and reliability. I strongly encourage anyone seeking a pre-purchase inspection to consider using a trustworthy and reputable mechanic or dealership service center to avoid receiving misleading or inaccurate information.

They flipped over a smog emissions valve on my Jeep so I could not pass smog. Another mechanic found the problem with me standing right there. The valve was clearly marked and it was flipped upside down. I had passed smog before they put the manifolds on I could not pass smog when they were done. They did this to me on purpose. Age is the great equalizer when it comes to continuing my own repairs. NOT! SITUATION: GMC 1500 Sierra, failed Smog, engine light, knock sensors gone bad. Thanks to the idiot engineers at GMC , they are DEEP in the valley between both cylinder banks.requiring a complete removal of the intake manifold. Been there done that, myself. UGH! Estimate was off the industry standard of how many hours this repair should take for a trained technician.which was GREAT. Maybe the Chilton Book? No hunting around trying to figure out what is wrong. All replaced parts were given to me (without asking) . BONUS. I knew there was a slow leak somewhere in the cooling system and had been refilling every once in awhile . I did forget to mention this. I was contacted told of a leak (I knew but forgot about it) Approved the repair and all went well. even found that the spark plugs were loose. That too, I forgot to mention. Yes they were, they found them however, tightened them up and replaced two bad ones.
