Just wanted to share my positive experience that I had at PRSTG. I didn't know they buy/sell/trade until my bro told me to check out an Instagram link of some Nike React Element 87s I've been wanting for a decent price. I apologize, I forgot the guys name at the cashier when I first visited but he was super helpful and even held the shoes for me to pick up my Utility Yeezys to get a quote for a trade. Poor customer service. They told me they would hold shoes for me didn't give me a time to pick them up or how long they would hold them just said they would be able to hold them and when I arrived from San Francisco they told me they had sold them. It's a very small shop with a barber shop in the back. No room to try shoes on comfortably (some shoes fit different yes I want to try them on). The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because they do have some exclusive shoes for sneaker heads. Don't be surprised when you walk in all of the shoes on display are shrink wrapped. So just yesterday I gave this place 2 stars and I really wanted to give them 1 , but all that changed today . I went in today to sell some kicks and although they only gave 150 for 3 pairs of shoes , I really wanted the cement 4s so I took the trade amount ( only 10 bucks more smh ) most places offer 20 percent more in trade but what ever . As I'm being helped I notice that there is one guy , one guy working the phones , the floor , the register , by himself now I see why the customer service lacks . This is where the 2 star comes into 5 stars , these 3 kids maybe 10 years old tops were looking at shoes and had no money . The owner goes into the back and gives each kid a pair of sneakers , after of course asking them " how are y'all grades ". Not only did this dude stop what he was doing to make these kids day , but he also told the kids " next time you better have the report cards with yuh , now go ahead and grab some cold drinks boys ". Great business, but nobody is usually in the store, they are usually in the back, would be great if they put a small bell on the front desk for assistance. But I just bought some jordan 6s today and the employees were cool and energetic. Lots of rare shoes and if you follow their Instagram, they have some weekly specials that are great deals. The experience I had was great... the renovated side is much bigger and comfortable... and although busy the staff was very helpful and honest when answering my questions... even giving me other options to extract more value from my shoes.... due to them valuing my shoes at less than retail they suggested I return for store credit which I ended up doing and retaining an extra $90 value. - Was trying to sell a Red Suede Jordan 5 they offered $100 but suggested I could return for $190 Nike store credit. I listened to the suggestion and did the return.... I really appreciated the info as I don't believe many stores would make suggestions this helpful. Great amazing place with amazing reasonable prices. This place gets a lot of hits for their customer service and and lack luster buying prices on kicks. Which I think is bull if you wanna sell your shoe sell your shoe yourself its co-sign for a reason your trying to get rid of it not them, if you believe they low balling go somewhere else or sell on a third party internet site. Terrible experience!! Brought in a pair of unworn space Jams and a worn pair of Curry's, now I do understand it's a two way street, we are both trying to make money but screwing the customer with a disgusting price is not cool, looked a shoes and were studying the space jams, then another guy ran up and said nah they aren't DS, ok? Whatever I'll listen to the offer, put the shoes away and said I can't sell these DS I'll give you 140 for both. WHAT??? No way!! I said why so low??? He said the same thing. I said no thank you all I get was see ya! Very disappointed, knocka is a very nice guy and hard worker and runs a great shop! I am not a sneakerhead. I only know when I see a pair of shoes of like. The guys at PRSTG let you roam freely around the store and check things out, but if you have a question, they are very well informed. I wear a size 12, but the guys said that in the Jordan Retro 12s, I should get an 11.5 and they were dead on.
