Shoe color scratched off on the side by the Nike check. For 1300$ these should be dead stock and authentic and not defected. If you was to bring these shoes in, this guy would never buy these. The guy was really nice about it and told me to email him the details. some other consignments were hella rude/condescending. I got a quote back within 5 days and they were fair prices, around the same as offers I got without the hassle of having to meet up and deal with flakers. Only minus one star because I feel that actual customer service in the store could be better/more attentive. It's hard to believe that I have never reviewed PRSTG before.. I've only been supporting this shop for like about 6 years now.. This is the only boutique shoe shop I've ever felt so welcomed in. I've gotten almost my entire shoe collections from here. The owners are super nice and will take care of you. When I can't find a shoe I want, I always call and if they don't have it, they will find it for me! The guys have become like family. (Which is the MAIN reason we continue to support their shop.) It's not a consignment shop, but when I want to get rid of a pair, (as long as they are still resell-able) they have anyways given me a fair price. They always have good kids size shoes too, and they are at such a fair price too. (Just picked up a youth size "bred 4" for $40...) I appreciated they're honesty and help. When I came it looked like they were closed even though they sign said open, but it just turned out the door was jammed. Someone came out and immediately open the door for us. This place is small and a bit dim(to preserve the shoes) and they shrink wrap their shoes. They have shoes on display from floor up. We were just browsing and looking around. there were a ton of shoes and they have everything from the latest release to some you think they would be gone forever. They shrink wrap all their display (and I can now see why) as I dropped one of them. Im still very sorry. They didn't get mad, they didn't yell at me. They knew I was sincere and shrugged it off. I didn't let myself touch anything else in the store after. We found a pair of Nike Air Max that recently released. My boyfriend is a sneaker head and has been eyeing these for a while. We were at district at Park earlier and decided to just come here since it was our day off to leisure. We found these at below market price and brand new so of course we had to get them! They were really nice with us and really chill. They were real nice guys who knew a lot about sneakers. I brought in two pairs of Louboutins on a Saturday afternoon - one to do a paint match with a clear sole protector and the other for just the sole protector. They were done and ready for pick up by Wednesday! Check out @GIFTED__KICKS on Instagram to see how they handle the shoes. You can tell that they take great pride in their work - the finished restored product is a reflection of their dedication to providing excellent service. They're not interested in shortcuts or doing a half-ass job - their goal is to bring the shoes back to its factory setting. After restoration, I've worn the shoes a few times and IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT. The soles are well protected and not very slippery! I've walked on gravel, cement, hardwood floors and carpets and it's looking LIKE NEW on the soles. I am extremely happy with the end result - the color match is dead on and the sole protector is doing its job. We all know that those are very hard to come by so I drove to Alameda to go and take a look . As soon as I walk in , I noticed the store was packed. I also noticed my cousin in there shopping too but who cares about him ? I told him " move out the way Brian ! I want those oxford tans !" now here's what I found to be upsetting : the people who work here have horrible customer service . It's kind of hard not to like this place, they have one of the greatest sneaker collections in all of the bay area and they definitely know their product. I've stopped by a few times to grab a specific sneaker and ended up leaving with multiple pairs because of their vast knowledge and customer service. I've been collecting shoes and vintage items for years, so to have a spot so close to home that I can stop by and grab a recent pair of deadstock shoes or some classics like Bapestas or Dadas is a blessing. This store has an excellent structure, they always buy both new or used shoes and collectibles and run daily specials through their instagram account. You will have to line up early to cop a pair of their daily deals, but if you manage to leave with anything it is guaranteed to be fire quality and always fairly priced. Their regular priced items vary in cost, some things are close in value to StockX or Goat prices while others are mad expensive, which is understandable considering that you won't see them other places and because this is a retail boutique with overhead costs. All in all, I love this shop and you should too, drop your dusty kicks and let them garnish your feet with excellence. read more

Stopped by for the first time to sell some Js after having a bad experience at Airloom Deluxe (their customer service is terrible.) I stopped in to PRSTG and it's like the first sneaker store I've walked into where the staff were real cool. The guy at the register was nice and super transparent about everything and the value of my shoes. He said the price may go up over time but that they were in the lower price range rn and that I could probably get more wear out of em and they'd still be worth the same. I still sold em but I really liked how straight up the dude was and he didn't treat me like I didn't know shit about shoes, he actually tried to educate me bout em instead without tryna make me feel stupid. Not sure where the disconnect is with the other reviews but I visit PRSTG regularly all the way from San Mateo. I've been going to cosignment stores since 2007 starting with RIF LA. I've visited cosigns all over LA and The Bay and I must say PRSTG is by far my favorite. The guys up front are always nice & are happy to chop it up with you if they're not too busy. Other stores act like they're better than the customer while these guys are regular people. I've sold 3 pairs & they've been very generous with their offers. For the people saying PRSTG "rips people off", understand that this is a business. Why would a cosign/brick & mortar pay you highest market value for your kicks? I've witnessed people walk in with yeezy boosts and leave with $700-$800 cash. Good luck finding that anywhere else. ALSO - if you bring in used shoes, you can't expect them to give you top dollar...they're USED. This place is solid, they offer good money for your kicks and their prices are reasonable. OUT OF THE BLUE, comes a guy and sits in front of the line and instead of copping, trades for what I came for. Sold me fake Jordans!! I bought a pair of Jordans from their online store, they were marked up about $50 more than other sites, but figured it would be worth it because they're a local mom and pop store and claim to have 20+ years of industry experience. I wanted to make sure I got an authentic pair for my husband for Christmas. Shipping was quick but when I opened them to examine the shoes, they smelled like a factory and not like the new shoe smell they should have if they're genuine. There was also a ton of excess pink glue around the bottoms, a dead giveaway because the glue should only be clear... Some of the stitching was pink as well, instead of white. Not the worst fakes I've ever seen, but at the end of the day, if I pay for authentic sneakers, I expect to receive authentic sneakers. Their loophole is that although they claim to be "experts", they do not actually guarantee authenticity anywhere on their website, and refuse to do returns or exchanges. I expected so much more from a local shop. Seriously disappointed. This place should be put out of business. read more
