Quick response. Hopefully they can come out one day next week…read more Thank you. If you can tell Tom the service charge to come out and if it is applied if we use your service. Thanks again. More to come.

Rooterman has changed over the years and, unfortunately, not in a good way. My first review of them…read morewas in 2015 so that tells you that I have been a customer for a very long time. The focus of this review is the water heater that they installed on 1/26/23. As you can see from my other reviews, the water heater that was installed before that one was in 2016. 7 years is a reasonable amount of time for a water heater to last. The problem is that the anode rod is failing in this current one. Edie came out and drained it on June 29th. We are not currently living there. In fact, the house is for sale. The problem was the hot water was turning yellow. He said to run the hot water, especially in the tub upstairs once a week, which we have been doing despite living across town now. Guess what? The hot water is yellow in tint again. Here's the rub. At the top of my receipt it says 50 gallon water heater, 6 year essential warranty. Fast forward to yesterday. Garrett comes out and notes the yellowish tint in the hot water. So, he says he can maybe replace the anode rod for about $500. He also says I can try calling AO Smith to see if they will send a new water heater and they will install it for about 2K. So, this is like going to a mechanic and a part fails and they say, why don't you call the company and see if they will send you a new part? I am pretty sure that is not a thing. By the way, he tried to get the anode rod out and it is welded solid in there. I told him we would give a credit to a potential buyer but after talking to my husband I realize that is not a good approach. It is already a brutal market to try to sell a home. So, I am faced with having to replace it although I have a document that says at the top 6 year essential warranty. That makes no sense. I will have to bid it out and Rooterman will not be on the list. They replaced the heater in 2016 and then again in 2023. I had no qualms in having them install it in 2023 because they had my complete trust. This is no longer the case. I no longer recommend Rooterman Plumbing. I gave them 2 stars because they used to do a good and honest job for me. I no longer feel that this is the case.

We had an excellent experience with Jeremiah at Service Wizard. Our AC stopped working when it was…read morearound 100 degrees outside, and Service Wizard was able to get Jeremiah out to us on an emergency basis. What made the experience particularly notable is that we had been service members with Radiant for the past four years. When we called them, the earliest prioritized appointment they could offer us was two weeks away, despite having no working AC in 100 degree weather. That experience prompted us to call Service Wizard instead, and I am very glad we did. Jeremiah was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He took the time to explain what he was checking and what he found, without trying to sell us repairs or services we did not need. He also discovered that during a previous service visit, Radiant had installed the condensation shutoff on the secondary drain line rather than the primary line, where it should have been installed. I really appreciated Jeremiah catching and explaining that issue. Between the emergency availability, Jeremiah's knowledge and professionalism, and the overall experience, I was impressed enough to sign up for Service Wizard's membership before he left. After four years with another company's service plan, that says quite a bit. I feel much more confident knowing we have Service Wizard to call going forward. Highly recommend Jeremiah and Service Wizard!

**1/5 Stars - Big Waste of Time (and almost a lot of money)**…read moreI wanted to like Service Wizard, but my experience with them was incredibly frustrating. My AC condensation pipe was completely backed up and needed to be flushed. Their tech arrived on time and seemed very professional, spending about an hour and a half working on the unit and inspecting everything inside and out. However, he couldn't find where the evaporator line exited the house. His solution? Install an external pump and run a whole new drain line. The rough estimate for that was, well, a hell of a lot more than the $15 fee they charged me just to come out and take a look. When he left, I still had the exact same broken AC, was stressing over an exorbitant bill to fix it, and somehow found out I'd been signed up for a $15-a-month service plan that entitled me to another check-up in six months just in time for winter. Hoping to just get it resolved, I reached out to Service Wizard via Yelp later that evening to see if they could come back today to do the work the tech recommended. I never got a response. Frustrated, I called a different AC company. They actually answered the phone, sent technicians out right on time today, and those guys spent **five minutes** at my house before finding the external line, repairing it, and flushing my system. Problem completely solved in under five minutes, and the fee was incredibly cheap compared to the massive quote I got from Service Wizard. I will definitely be canceling my $15-a-month contract with Service Wizard and won't be recommending them going forward. Save yourself the headache and call someone else!

I was very hesitant about the trimming but he had reassured me he has worked on exterior faucets attached to bricks and limestone before. I allowed him to trim some of the limestone and replace the faucet and it all worked out. The faucet got replaced and I can't even tell the limestone got touched. I asked him about the water turn off switch for my house and he said it looked really old. From the appearance, it did look old. He wrote me an estimate and explained everything that needed to get done, so I went with it. He installed a pressure reducing valve in my house and installed a water shut off valve. He ensured my plumbing was up to code. Manny was patient and answered questions kindly. He went over each item on the list with me before I accepted it. It was raining on the day he was working but he worked hard and did a great job! Pricing was fair and the quality of work was a 10/10. I would use them again and recommend Manny.
