This place was absolutely amazing. So many options and customizations that there is definetely something here for everyone. This place puts vitality bowls to shame, and I couldn't be happier. Surprising to find a place like this in Modesto of all places, but it was a very welcome one. Cashiers were kind and helpful in being patient and explaining everything for first timers. The food was a bit expensive but you surely get the value for that money in quality and quantity. If you choose to dine in, you even get free fountain BCAA drinks which was really great! I love getting the Cajun bowl from Protein House. It is so good and flavorful with fresh ingredients. I also like to switch up the rice and choose the turmeric rice as it adds even more spices and flavor to the bowl. Their juices are amazing and fresh a little bit more on the pricey side, but they are very refreshing. I am a first timer and found this establishment online while searching for somewhere with allergy safe options for a special takeout dinner. I ordered via delivery & my food was delicious and fresh, hot and fast. Delivery driver appropriate as well. Ordering process was very simple and straightforward online with delivery service available. I ordered gluten free GFB and it was verified gluten free many times on my ticket. The bun.... I am putting so much trust in this company that it is really gluten free because It was the best tasting softest gluten free bun I have ever had. There was no sauce or grilled onion on my burger, I just thought maybe it was just not allergy safe, no biggie. I didn't have any issues with my order. I ate the whole huge burger -bun and all and have not as of yet had any issues/symptoms making me fear I have been "glutened". Actually quite the opposite, I feel happy and stuffed. The burger alone was more than enough for myself and my partner barely finished as well. The food may be kind of pricey for some, but I don't eat out normally so it wasn't a big deal to me & I really found it well worth the price. It was excellent quality, not dry and not greasy. As people who track our macros, this was a great find on a whim! I wasn't sold on our default choice on In-N-Out after a morning of being in the heat at a comp, and saw this place while driving there. I had never even heard of it, but the menu looked great and we figured we would give it a try. As soon as we entered, we were handed both drink menus and food menus which was a pleasant greeting. There aren't many tables, but we were able to snag a four-top to fit our family right after ordering. We ordered the Spicy Thai Chicken wrap, Steak Egg-white Burrito and Fit Kids Chicken Teriyaki bowl. Food took a little while to come out, but to me at least that means it was made fresh. Oh my. So good! Everyone I go to Kaiser, I always drive past this place. This time I stopped to see what it is all about. The aesthetics from outside look amazing brand new. You walk in and it's a small 15 table good lunch dinner café. It has everything that you can imagine from breakfast smoothies, açai bowls, protein, smoothies, pancakes, waffles... Anything that you can think of they have that is healthy and that is loaded with protein. When you walk in, everyone is friendly and happy even as busy as they are during lunchtime. The service was amazing. I got my protein shake within five minutes and let me tell you it was delectable. I got the muscle gain protein smoothie and it tastes amazing. This is one place. I got the PH Breakfast Burrito - super flavorful on its own, added the cilantro lime sauce for a bit more zest. The fruit was super fresh - normally I don't care for eating tons of fruit but today I did! Just as an FYI a closed mouth doesn't get fed. If you ask the people behind the counter for something you'll get it. Just ask! They're pretty swamped with pick ups and delivery just like most places these days, so it really doesn't surprise me that they're hyper focused on that. Again - ask and you shall receive (and don't be entitled it's gross). The place looks and feels clean, which is a stretch for most places in Modesto lol. I had such high hopes for Protein House, especially since I drove all the way from Stockton to visit my mom at the hospital across the street. I was starving and excited to try something new, but my experience was incredibly disappointing. When I walked in, I was immediately drawn to the menu, but that's where the positive experience ended. There were two employees behind the counter, chatting and laughing with each other, completely ignoring me, their only customer standing in front of them waiting to order. Nobody greeted me, acknowledged my presence, or even made eye contact. To make matters worse, when the phone rang, the employee answered it and started taking an order without even addressing me--despite me standing right there. I was made to feel completely invisible, as if they didn't want my business at all. Frustrated, I walked out after standing there for 3 minutes like an idiot and went to Nectar instead, where I know I'll always get a great experience and enjoy a healthy, organic smoothie. They have quite the variety of protein packed meals and nutritious drinks, even options for those who have vegan or vegeterian diets. I ended up trying their Omega 3 bowl, and WOW, it is so simple with a nice amount of flavor. I'm not really a seafood person, but the salmon was seasoned well! I believe the prices reflect the quality for the most part. Also, the staff was nice and had great customer service in my opinion. It seems customer service is an issue with this establishment. I was super eager to snag a shake and meal after a workout around 7:30pm. I walked in and the folks behind the counter didn't even acknowledge me and were looking at their phones. I was waiting for them to engage and finally one said, "are you ready?" with some annoyance. The food is mediocre and the shakes are overpriced. That coupled with the fact that I'm a bother when I'm ready to pay equated to losing a customer.
