They seem to use quality ingredients but the two times I have gotten the chicken is pretty burned.... veggies are lightly cooked and the sweet potato mash was the only thing with some flavor. It's a pretty healthy place but it doesn't have a whole lot of taste to it. read more

I went here for the Meal Prep service. The first week I ordered and it was amazing! Perfect portions and perfect service. The second week, not so much... The meals were shorted on portion and did not look near as appealing.. I called and Ashley ( the Manager ) answered and helped out.. Replaced all of my meals for me and didnt question me when I explained that these were not of the same quality.. If you leave there hungry, it's your own fault! I had breakfast here last week with a friend and we didn't even know where to begin! There's so many great choices, and everything is made to order. The staff is incredibly friendly, and helpful, and one of the owners came by to check on us and see if we needed anything. The cost is a little more than I'd usually choose to pay, but once I tried the food, it was definitely worth it. If you're looking for a healthy alternative, give them a try. I decided to give this place another chance and i wish I didn't. It was moderately busy and I ordered green monster smoothie and instead of agave syrup I added banana. 25 minutes later and after 4-5 people behind me got their food I went and asked what is going on with my smoothie and the girl said "oh they are making it right now" without saying sorry or anything g. Finally after additional 4 minutes I got my smoothie and the girl handed it to me and agin did not say sorry for the wait or have a nice day. I mean if you leave customer waiting 30 minutes for something that takes 10 minutes max to be prepared or would be nice to say I am sorry we screwed up, or offer discount, coupon, free drink. It sucks that there are still businesses that do not care about customers, but I gave it another chance and after this 2nd disappointing visit I will no longer be coming here. read more

This place is great in a pinch for a healthy, clean, substantial meal. The portions are fair for the price and you get exactly what you pay for. Everything I have tried (8 different things on the menu so far) is unfortunately very bland, but I guess that can come with the territory often. I gave this place 3 tries. The only reason it got even 2 stars was because the smoothies are good. The customer service, however, is severely lacking. You walk in and are never greeted by anyone. Horrible experience. Put in a $100+ meal prep order at 430pm for pickup at 7pm. Took about 40mins in rush hour to get there only to get a call at 650pm saying they could not complete my order because I did not place it 8hrs ahead of time and I needed to come back the next day. The website allowed for a 7pm pickup and says nothing about a 8hr pre-order requirement. I called two other Protein Houses and they said that is not the case and this location was just being lazy. The girl working the counter told me their location works by a different set of guidelines. Since I was only 5 minutes away when I received the call I said I was still coming by and hoped they would at least comp a meal for my time, and she said sure. I get there and the girl had misunderstood my request and said they could not discount my meal. I could honestly care less about a discount and was just looking for some type of consideration for my wasted time. I will never go to this location again after being stood up and essentially lied to. The location was empty btw, and had four employees standing around with no food on the grill. Let me say, I have ordered through the Arcadia location on multiple occasions with only a couple hours notice and had no problem. The service was friendly and was actually given a free large bottled water because I had to wait an extra 5 minutes. Coming from a retail background myself, those are the little things you remember! Pains me to give one star my wife and I really like this place. We turned it on to our friends and after they went there her husband had a bad experience will I know why. You need a Manager to baby sit your staff on Sundays. My wife is vegetarian she ordered a custom bowl with protein on the side to give to me. So the staff who took the order I guess did not relay that to the cooks. Another server brought us the food and we told her the situation she apologized and took the food back. Then the staff who took the order brought out food with the protein on the side and drops it front of my wife. Didn't even acknowledge that she made a mistake nice work ethics totally made my wife feel uncomfortable. Then that staff went back to the corner behind the counter and jumped on her phone. The atmosphere is nice but the attitude of each employee was so uninviting and I didn't see a smile the whole 30 minutes I was there. As I waited, and waited, and waited, the cashier seemed miserable and the others all acted like they were having the worst day! My shake was yummy but the bowl took 20 minutes. I watched the food come out and the burger looked amazing. I will try it one more time but my advice would be to smile and enjoy yourselves while you are working! Was sadly so disappointed in the flavor of this food. I've been wanting to try this place for years. Finally made the drive. I read other reviews saying how there was no seasoning. But thought it couldn't possibly be that bad. It was! There was no hint of any type of season or flavor at all. The steak was good! That's why I gave two stars because at least the steak was good. But I got the southwest bowl and I'm glad I asked for sauces because that's what helped me get it down. Good amount of food too. Just sooo bland! Save your money.
