Have not been to a Stallion's game in a while. This was a fun event. The crowd was hyped. Children were excited. Shirtless adults screaming. The team played well. Prices were reasonable. Popcorn was $5.00. Hotdogs $6 is I remember right. The stadium is well built.

Enjoyed the game with my Mom today. We went to see her granddaughter perform in the UAB marching band so we will definitely be back. My only concern is the handicapped bathrooms are not marked and the elevator did not work when it said bathroom upstairs. The elite of the world have to be elevated and set apart in society which is a society social concern of the ages of time. Thank you UAB and Protective Stadium

A perfect venue for cheering on your team, or watching a concert. Not a bad seat in the house. Well you can get seats up high, and though you may get a little altitude sickness, at least you'll have a great view. My daughter and I visited on Easter Sunday to catch a couple games of the inaugural weekend for the USFL....Go Gamblers! Our seats were in section 102, 50 yard line. $40 bucks to sit in padded seats for two games! What a bargain. Granted we probably could have paid $10 and sat anywhere in the stadium for these sparsely attended games, but being from out of town we didn't want to stiff the local economy. Across from the stadium there are a number of restaurants, one of which we took seats at to wait out a rain delay. We ate there, but you'll have to read up on that experience in a different review (I don't want to ruin this one). Parking can be a chore. We parked in a gravel lot next to the stadium. Which is ok, unless you're wearing open toed shoes. Your girl may end up with some interesting stuff between those toes, so be forewarned. After the games, and while leaving the gravel pit, we put on "Waze" to get us to the 65 north. Let me tell you what! If you want an adventure into the Twilight Zone, follow where the Waze lady tells you to go. Talk about a battle zone. Holy makeral. Look to the left and you'll see why there are signs everywhere saying "Rebuild Birmingham". There's a huge abandoned complex which looked like it used to be a hospital. Overgrown landscaping hiding broken windows and graffiti strewn walls. Eerie. It looks like a great place to party..... if you're a zombie. Since it was night time we decided to pass by without popping in to the emergency room. Quick Tip: The stadium facilities are Top Notch. Perfect, cause Top Golf is right across the street. Stop in there for a few swings to prepare yourself for the zombie battle.

This is an awesome stadium! We saw Garth Brooks here recently (omg I know) and jt was probably the best concert I've been to (obviously Garth had a lot to do with this). The sound quality was incredible and the lines for food/drinks actually moved pretty quickly. What shocked me the most was how clean the bathrooms were and I only had to wait in the women's restroom line ONCE. I would definitely come back here for another concert!

Tickets were half as much as they were in Atlanta so I drove to Birmingham for a mini-break! Parking can be pre-purchased online starting at $20 but there was a line of cars to enter so arrive early. Even though I had $25 nosebleed seats (shoutout to Live Nation's 1/2 off sale), the screens made it easy to see and the acoustics were great! Both performers were AMAZING! The line moved fairly quickly and I had no issues with security or staff (unlike State Farm). But an end row seat meant I had to frequently stand to to let people in. Patrons were super friendly. We all sang along to Maze's "Before I Let Go" as we exited. Rest in heaven Frankie Beverly.. I didn't order anything or use the restrooms so I can't comment on the amenities or food yet. But it was a pleasant experience. I recommend Legacy Arena BJCC and will return. Pics to come on my next visit!

The late great John Denver performed the first concert at the BJCC coliseum (known today as the Legacy Arean) on Sept. 28, 1976! Growing up, the BJCC was a big entertainment destination because few and far between were the "great" entertainment acts who visited my hometown of Huntsville, AL. Over the years, I've seen lots of great acts at the BJCC, including Van Halen [pre Van Hagar days] numerous times starting in August 1981, the legendary The Who on November 30, 1982, Kid Rock numerous times, and attended an excellent Alanis Morisette show here! It's nice to have the Uptown Entertainment District nearby and the extensive modernization of the arena in 2020 enhanced the lighting and sound systems, concessions, and amenities for artists. Well done Majic City!

Parking for a game is actually easier here than most stadiums because there are numerous lots around campus and you are shuttled over by trolley. Tailgating is at the quad with the west side being free. Just drop off your gear before you park. As for the stadium itself, it's more of an experience. Getting through the gates is a breeze because there are so many of them. Seating is typical college football seating but most throughout the stadium give you a good view of the game. The fan experience is incredible here especially if you know the culture of Alabama. Singing along to Dixieland Delight and Rammer Jammer to yelling Roll Tide Roll for Bama first downs is all part of the culture. I also have not been to the Boutwell in decades. lol The event had dedicated parking $30 , at the attached lot. I thought this was insane but being in downtown Birmingham at NOON, parking options are limited. Getting into the event was easy. There was a security checkpoint. However, locating my seat was not easy. The event staff wasn't very helpful. The few I saw. The seating was not clear based on what was printed on the ticket..... I just sat wherever. Pretty much all of the seats were decent at this event. Overall, this was a fun sporting event. I would like to see more workers available to assist guests.
