Told my adjuster I refused to let them take equipment on a day they just showed up on their time to grab it and i was at work. No one had spoken with me about a time they could come by to grab it. They had to leave it all weekend and someone told me they wouldn't charge for it. Someone who didn't have the authority to tell me that. So now I'm fighting with their project manager to not be charged for the weekend because they didn't communicate when they wanted to pick it up on Friday. AND i'm fighting to be reimbursed for my things they broke. A lot of words have been stuffed in my mouth by these assholes. They did a good job taking out the flooring and trim from my place but their customer service was so so SO bad i would absolutely never hire or recommend them to anyone. besides they are expensive. "It's the summer in Florida and I have no access to running water in my house" I decried. As my family entered day 2 of waiting for an authorization approval I sought out real help. A professional that cared to have the staff and expertise available and willingness to offer emergency support services. Jeff's KB&B Plumbing was both the answer and the solution. They answered my after hours call on a Saturday morning. They had a courteous and professional team available to dispatch and diagnose the issues. Thereafter they solved the issue with informative diligence. Every step along the way I was updated. Moreover the fair and reasonable price I was quoted remained the same throughout the process. The plumber replaced the valve and performed by far the neatest work I've ever seen. I explicitly asked the plumber not to clean up afterwards to allow my children the opportunity to participate in the process, but he refused to leave a job undone and not as clean as possible. They told me they "didn't work on toilets like mine and I should just replace it." After they left, we had a mysterious flood coming from a broken valve at the toilet and we ended up with water all over our bathroom and into the next room. We called the emergency line 3 times and while the answering service answered, no one called us back. They denied any involvement in damaging the valve, refuse to fix it, and are saying they didn't do it and it was a coincidence that it happened to break after they were at the house. The only solution temporarily is to shut the water line to the entire house. We, therefore, cannot use water, have water under our wood floors, and wet drywall as well. We have used them for various projects over the last 13 years, referred many friends to them, and now we are left with a broken toilet, no water to the entire house (main water line needed to be shut off to stop the flow of water), and a small flood. Come to find out after the fact, 3 others that I know have also had bad experiences with them. After they refused the fix the problem, we had another company come out to fix their mess and, without hesitation, was able to fix the flapper without any issue as well as repair the broken valve. When Luis R. from ADA came out to the condo today, I was impressed at his knowledge and understanding of the task at hand. I was also very pleased at his availability to break down the information so I was able to understand. it. The total charge for all this was to be around $500 for the cleaning, inspection and remediation of the mold. I was astounded to learn that not only was Luis and ADA a very highly rated company, they are honest. Luis advised me I did not need mold remediation and the cleaning and fumigation would be sufficient. He also checked the air handler and told me it was in good shape and there would be no need to treat it or my ducts for mold. It seems there may be a problem above me. Instead of a usual company that wants to make every last cent they can, this company actually cares about the customer and only provides what you need or what you ask for. It appears this company does things the old fashion way. You treat a customer with awesome customer service and honesty and they will be back. GREAT JOB LUIS AND ADA. We bought a house that had been home to 5 cats and 2 dogs, and there were all kinds of hair, dirt, and odor problems when we started cleaning the house. After seeing what was in the tracks of the sliding glass doors and on the floors, I refused to turn on the A/C until I could have the ducts cleaned. We had to postpone several times because of messy work inside the house, but the staff at ADA were always courteous and accommodating. When the day of the scheduled cleaning finally arrived, Tim was prompt, professional, and did an exceptional job cleaning and servicing the system. He cleaned out all of the vents, painted the inside of the vents with an anti-microbial paint, and detailed the air handler incredibly well. I have complete confidence in the work he did, and the house is so much cleaner (and smells SO much better) than it was before ADA came. We are breathing much easier now. They should have sealed it properly (POOR WORKMANSHIP) later the seal failed and I cooled my attic unknowingly for 3 months and my AC bill went through the roof and I had to pay $3k to replace the blower. Ductz said "um, sorry" They didn't take any responsibility. I even had a prof AC company agree that it was poor workmanship. Now I have to deal with this in small claims court.
