I hired Florida Attic Professionals to improve the insulation in my attic after getting a new roof. The existing insulation was subpar and I wanted to upgrade. Communication with Kara was top notch; she was quick to respond, answered all the questions I had, and was easy to work with for scheduling. I was so disappointed e/ this company. They were d only one doing attic ladder & subflooring installation last year. After d ladder , I called them again to install d subflooring, but was unhappy to to see only 4 sections of 5 ft & 1 3 ft installed in my attic. I told them to replace that 3ft to 5 ft, so it will all be of same length, but that lady Owner, Cara refuses to correct their mistake , ignored my request & never returned my call! I had awful attic damage from hurricane Irma. I found this company on the internet and am SO GLAD I did. They came and got my attic cleaned out, disinfected and reinsulated. The guys worked non stop and were polite and professional. I am more than pleased with this wonderful company. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a spotless clean attic. They hauled all the old insulation out and did a great job. They left the area where they worked cleaner than it was when they got there. The pictures on their website are accurate. If I could give this company 10 stars, I would. I discovered in May that I had a large colony of bats that had taken up residence in my attic. The State of Florida insisted I had to keep them as tenants until bat maternity was over in Mid-August. Over the following months, the stench from the bat guano and urine in my house became nearly unbearable. After the bat eviction, I called Florida Attic Professionals to remediate my attic. I've lost a lot of faith in contractors in Florida BUT Jason restored my faith. Jason and his assistant Ray arrived on time, explained what they were going to do and why and proceeded to GET THE JOB done! They sucked out the guano and urine infested insulation then sanitized my attic not once but TWICE and then replaced the insulation. From the first phone call to Kara (Jason's wife) until the time they drove away they were professional, considerate, clean, and thorough. Oh, and nice! Just a bit of advice for anyone with a similar problem. DO NOT use a "critter" control company to remediate the damage done by bats. It's generally a side-line service for those companies and not all of them are certified to do this kind of remediation. I'm so glad I went with a company that specializes in one thing...attics.
