I found all this out after we signed and after the installation by doing some research online and came across an article that explains a class action in the state of California which represented clients who were swindled and scammed by the company putting a lien on unsuspecting senior elderly, and veteran consumers, and in our case it is the same . Company just sent someone out in July to do the inspection on the air conditioning, should been a red flag there. I had a problem and ask this company a question and learn that they had went out business 4 They promised that we would see huge savings on our electric bill, they installed a water heater, an attic fan, and solar panel and charged us $12,500 air conditioning and 12,500 dollars for parts and installation totaling 25,000 we are not wealthy people, we swallowed what they were dishing thought we were doing something in good faith that they were doing right by us in order to have huge savings on our electric bill , they misrepresented the service to us on the Pretense through their detailed sales pitch as if they were looking out for us in a caring way, when all they were doing was sucking and making a fool out us. My Husband is disabled, I I've just recently had Aortic valve replacement in my heart, We to work hard just like the other people up here to lose everything I've tried to achieve; people should not be unsuspecting of snake oil salesmen that sell a bill of goods all false lie and leave you with a big as bill. I did extensive online research for a company to come remove the current insulation, sanitize and install new insulation. As like many of us do, once I started looking Facebook magically started putting adds for it on my feed for insulation companies. S.U.N. Energy was one of the first I saw. They were advertising a great special for the month of June in my area. When I researched them directly I found they had some very good views but a few things concerned me. 1. They were not local to me 2. Didn't have a lot of reviews 3. Didn't have a good rating with the BBB. I approached with caution but still reached out. I was did business with a local paver company that had an "A" rating with the BBB and it was the worst contractor experience of my life. So I gave them a shot. In all honesty they were the best insulation company that I interviewed. They gave me Free estimate over the phone. When I expressed my concerns about them not being a local company, they drove down (3 hours) to give me some face to face time. I dealt with Shawn and it was a pleasure. He thoroughly explained the process to me and multiple options for payment. No high pressure sales. He was also the team leader that showed up on time to our home to get the job done.. He and his crew were all fantastic. They made what is by nature a very messy job as manageable as possible. They took all necessary precautions and cleaned up after themselves. It was very good transaction and based on my experience I would highly recommend this group. My original concerns were completely unwarranted, even if they did come from a Facebook advertisement.
