When my unit died, I called them. Two of my friends have used them, and raved about them. For good reason!! They installed a great unit and it has never let me down. Since I was on my 4th unit in 20 years, that is saying something. I have a service contract with them and they are super about service. I highly recommend them. Every single service technician is courteous, professional and knows their business! read more

This is hands down the best A/C company I have ever used. We live in a condo and had issues with our downstairs neighbor to replace our Freon line. They were the most affordable, on top of having 4 different companies come take a look and give us a quote. The customer service was outstanding from beginning to end and they were very patient and knowledgeable. They even called another worker to come and help when they couldn't figure out why our AC wasn't getting cold after replacing the line and he was able to get it running correctly. It was after a long day and they made sure it was finally fixed. I am forever grateful to them. It was a great experience after being so frustrated. read more

I am so grateful for Greens Energy Services. Not only did someone actually answer my call, but they sent out a technician right away! Our service technician, Scott was so helpful and funny too! He was informative and honest with us too, which I appreciate. I would highly recommend their services! read more

Florida heat is early, our system failed. Called Greens Energy, they sent a technician, Scott, and I am really impressed with the quick response, thoroughness and responsiveness. I highly recommend this company. read more

We've used many different HVAC services over the years, ranging from local to national providers. Greens Energy has been the best example of quality service we've experienced by far! Their inspectors, service reps and technicians are all very kind, professional and insightful on how to resolve issues. We had them install a new unit in our home recently and they were better priced, and more knowledgeable than the others we received quotes for. They came highly rated from our friends who have used them for home and business repairs. Definitely check them out if you're needing HVAC service. read more

They went above and beyond to fix our AC in times where Carrier, the product manufacturer, is back-ordered on parts (mainly due to the current war between Russia & Ukraine These countries supply mineral and gas components needed to make semi conductors (neon, palladium) The part needed to fix our AC needed a new semiconductor. This got fried during a power surge. Carrier has over 30 parts (that uses semiconductors) on back order til weeks from now. We are satisfied with how Greens Energy have meet our needs, and we will keep on recommending them to our friends. Hopefully, this war will be over soon and AC parts will be plenty once again. read more

Greens tried to take advantage of me as a new home owner. They could see we were moving in with boxes and came to do a service call. Our AC UNIT is just a couple years old but at first try tried to say the parts were not covered under warranty because it didn't transfer and we weren't the original owners. When I pushed back they said it was covered under warranty and said the labor to replace a fan motor is $475. I have called other AC repair places and quoted around $350. These people are dishonest and try to take advantage of people. I would never use them read more

We have been customers of Greens Energy Services for over 15 years. We have them service our air conditioner twice a year and are extremely satisfied with their work. They are always prompt and efficient. I am especially grateful that they have 8 am appointment times and are in and out expeditiously. We recently had them replace our aging AC system. Once again they surprised us with their attention to detail. We highly recommend this company. read more

We found ourselves in a pickle when we went to buy our house and found a 287 gallon oil tank in the backyard with over 200 pounds of oil inside. We were at a loss: how do you get rid of this much oil? And what do you do with the tank? We decided to call our AC company, who referred us to Greens. We discussed the tank promptly with Melanie and were told that their technician, Darrin, would get back with us shortly. We had a small wait--about a week--to hear back, but then had a home visit the next day after speaking with him, and a week later the oil tank was out of the ground. Darrin was friendly and communicative and was more than willing to answer all of our questions regarding our oil disposal and tank removal. He was also available by phone for follow up questions. We also spoke with Melanie quite a bit, who was a key liaison during the whole process! We were extremely pleased with the work and professionalism of Greens and would definitely use them again! read more

Our a/c went out Saturday night and when I called on Sunday to see if anyone could come out, they showed up 45 minutes later. The technician was polite, had shoe covers over his shoes which I appreciated and was quick in figuring out the problem. Googling what the issue was we found their price competitive and we will not hesitate to use them again in the future. read more

I don't usually write reviews but I want to save others from having a similar experience. If you are a business owner, or anyone really, DO NOT USE THS COMPANY. We bought a brand new commercial unit from Greens, spent well over 10K in addition to paying for numerous service calls and we have had nothing but trouble due to poor installation. Approximately every 2 months the system has gone down for one reason or another. My business cannot operate if the a/c is down due to the medical grade adhesive we use, and this company has cost me thousands of dollars in cancelled appointments. Instead of standing by their work or trying to help a small business owner in desperate times they give me false time windows, send out techs with improper equipment ( a 12 ft ladder is needed to access the inside unit) and then gaslight me when I call to check up on the techs. Last night the 24 hour emergency dispatch told me they would be here between 8am and 9am, then this morning when I called they tell me it will be between 11am and 1pm. I would have made back up plans and other arrangements with other companies had I known this. I spoke with "Bill" and not sure if he is the manager or owner but I have never been treated with more disrespect in my life. He told me that since I didn't have a service plan with the company anymore we don't get priority scheduling. I've paid almost $15,000 to this company over the years and the reason I don't have a continuing service plan with them is that they could never seem to come out when we needed them and always had a million excuses. Bill claims that dispatch did not tell me they would be here between 8am and 9am and that they record the calls. Bill, I challenge you to play me that recording because they did indeed promise me that time frame. As a business owner myself I never write bad reviews or try to harm another businesses' reputation but in this case I'm looking into a lawsuit, alerting the Better Business Bureau and I'm also trying to warn others looking for a reliable commercial A/C company with integrity. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

Another reminder that this business sucks. We had an issue with our upstairs unit and called another ac company. Told them the story from this company and they confirmed we were overcharged. Seems this company has a bad rep with their peer group. Stay away! And before they say we didn't describe the problem, we showed receipts and work done. read more

Robbie is a great salesperson and I recommend him. He responded quickly to phone calls, texts and emails. Very, very nice guy.

Forget about 24 hr emergency service because they don't have it, even when the website says they do. Can send someone out the next day? It's Florida and it's hot... pay for a service plan to save $20 on diagnostics? Lady that answers really doesn't care. Terrible service! read more

5/13/18: Greens Energy salesman, Robbie, was at our door 20 minutes after my call. Impressive! Robbie laid out our options. Aaron and Josh pulled in at 8:30am Monday morning with our system and did a beautiful job removing the old system and installing the new! Super nice guys, did great work and cleaned up before leaving...we are VERY happy with the end results!! I would highly recommend getting a bid from Greens Energy! 7/1/19 UPDATE: Patrick came this morning for our HVAC maintenance check and we were amazed at his professionalism and all the helpful maintenance tips he shared with us while servicing our Carrier unit. We also signed up for the "twice a year" maintenance program and will DEFINITELY be asking them to send Patrick back from now on! We've owned our house for 33 years and our 3rd HVAC system was installed by Greens Energy last year. In all that time, we have yet to see a better, nicer or more helpful HVAC mechanic at our house! THANK YOU PATRICK!! read more

I am so very impressed with the excellent customer service and quality that I received from Greens Energy that I want to share my experience online... My AC stopped cooling in the middle of the night during what seemed like a heat wave in July in Orlando. I called Greens Energy the first thing in the morning and was scheduled for a technician to come that afternoon. "Ernie" diagnosed the the problem and efficiently made the repairs. I highly recommend Greens Energy and their exceptional team! read more

We have been with Greens for 30+ years and appreciate their courtesy, prompt service. We have had several units (in different houses) installed by Greens. Our latest system replacement (inside and outside) were sold by a knowledgeable sales fellow, Russell, was knowledgeable, helpful, and not pushy. Our install went off without a hitch and within the time frame promised. Kudos to Joel & Joel on the friendly install. Yes, both install techs were names Joel! And I can't finish this review by calling out our regular Greens tech, Kelly. He is a perfect representative of this fine company. We looked at 4 different companies to get our new A/C and went with Greens. Not the least expensive or the most expensive. We decided to go with Greens again because of our history with them and their great people. Definitely recommend this company. read more

I am in the middle of replacing a mobile home air conditioner unit and had heard their ads for years. They are located in winter park but apparently don't serve all of central florida. You may find out that they do not come to your rescue. read more

After having issues with my AC, it was determined I needed a new unit. I was given multiple options by my Greens advisor at different price points. Once I made my choice, I was told when and what to expect by the schedulers. The installers showed right on time, and were fantastic! I would ask for Joel, Misael, and Curtis if I ever needed more work done. They were quick, efficient, and knew their business. Additionally, Greens is the first company that figured out how to adjust my duct work to even out the temperature throughout my house(I have had 2-3 other companies look in the past and never even give me options on how to fix it. Will absolutely use them in the future. read more

Greens Energy installed my A/C 15 years ago and its still working fine. They have serviced the unit for me from the time it was installed. I always was able to get a afternoon appointment for my service due to my work schedule. However they have changed there policy and only do service appointments in the AM. They need to rethink this policy and reconsider there loyal customers in order to keep them. I'm in the market for a new Trane unit and now I'm questioning do I look elsewhere. read more

I used Green's for years and no longer use them. I was told that I would discount when I needed new units but when it came down to it they said no. There pricing was the highest for all the quotes by thousands of dollars with all of the same warranties and SER ratings. Now, they will not stop emailing me even though I have asked multiple times to be taken off the list and they won't stop billing me when I cancelled in 2015 for there annual service. read more

I have also been a long time customer and my current AC system was purchased though this company. I have always recommended them for service but no more. My last invoice did not break down parts and labor and had a $79.00 added to the bill. I would suggest shopping around since many companies do not charge such fees. I know I will... read more

WARNING !!!!! DANGER ---- DANGER !!!!!!! GREENs Energy are crooks in my opinion.....The other reviewer hit it right on the HEAD....they are scam artist...I consider them thief's in my opinion. They do not break down charges. Unbelievable that they can get away with their unethical billing practices. The charged me $79 service all that took 5 minutes to detect the problem. I needed two capacitors. A run and a start. I was told by a friend these are inexpensive and he warned me they were overcharging but Bill Green would not talk to me to provide me with the details on the pricing. As a single women with medical issues I was desperate to get my air repaired therefore I took the chance knowing something wasn't right. BUT when I found out later that I was TOTALLY RIPPED off I was OUTRAGED how severely. HOW CAN THIS BE happening so easily in this country with no repercussions. Essentially I PAID A TOTAL of $470 for a 15 minute repair and a 5 minute diagnostic. These capacitors are very simple to uninstall and install... they only have a couple wires to connect. BREAKDOWN $79 service call - diagnosis took 5 minutes - just needed to use read the voltage. $201 - run capacitor retail cost=less then $35 $189 - start kit (all this is a start capacitor & a relay) wholesale cost = less than $50 TOTAL I PAID = $470 PARTS = less than $85 END RESULT !!!!!!!! ONLY LABOR= $310 for 15 minutes !!!!!!!!!!!! OUTRAGED.....this needs to end.....it is a corrupt business practice and how many folks don't even know how much they were ripped off.....TIME FOR the MEDIA TO STEP IN. DONT' EVEN THINK THEY DON'T KNOW THEY ARE DOING. LIKE THE OTHER REVIEWER SAID.....THEY ARE SCAM ARTIST....THEY WILL LIE AND MISLEAD YOU. THEY are ALL BS. Check out the reviews ...we are all saying they same thing....excluding the ones that are probably entered by the company.....ha!!!! read more

Called and scheduled for the company to come out to my house and find a freon leak. Tech showed up to the house and found the leak fairly quickly.... tech explained the leak and how he would fix it(which was a simple repair and recharge system) he comes back with $1,000 to do the repair. I by no means am an expert when it comes to ac repair, I know enough to keep me out of trouble. I couldn't believe the price so I called the service manager, in which he called the tech to confirm the information. The manager calls me back explaining the quote which is still 1,000. OUTRAGEOUS PRICING .... STAY AWAY read more

We had some issues with our AC unit leaking. We were very pleased with the service that Greens provided. Judy in the office was friendly and efficient. She sent out two different service techs. All and all it was a very good experience and Greens employees were a pleasure to deal with. read more

The 12 y/o Trane A/C went out in my Mom's condo on a Friday afternoon. They were upfront and honest about pricing. Jason explained every step of the process. I highly recommend GREENS! read more

Back in early 2012, the time came for me when my cheap, contractor-grade house AC seemed to be costing unreasonable amounts to operate. I read some positive Google reviews about Greens, and decided to go with them. They came out and gave me an expert assessment, and replaced my whole system for a great price with great service. Cut to five years later, aka this past week. Probably the best way to say it was that I had a bad string of things happen with my equipment. First, my evap coil develops a hole..there goes all my freon. Greens had someone out to me within the hour. I was informed that my system was under the 10yr parts warranty, and that the failing EC would be fixed once that new part was ordered and in. They came out a couple weeks later to replace it. It too, was found to have a huge hole...there goes all my freon. They were out again to respond to this within a couple hours, and got my replacement in. This worked for a day or so until...... The next night, my lady and I were sitting on the deck when we heard our condenser unit start making a clunking noise...there goes the AC out yet again. The AC did come back on and cooled the house, but I nonetheless had a highly responsive tech (on a weekend call no less) check it out. He didn't find anything, but this was all short-lived. When we came home last night, my air was out once again. Cut to today, 7/10. Greens then put me on priority once again (VP Bill called me to let me know) and had a tech out within the hour. He diagnosed a bad compressor and harness, and something else I can't remember. A short while later, an unexpected surprise came when Bill once again called, to let me know that he contacted the manufacturer and they'd agreed to get me a whole brand new condenser unit! He told me that two major components failing within such a short amount of time was rare, and I certainly believed him...I've lived here for 20+ years. Techs are installing the new unit as I type this. Talk about taking care of a customer. This to me is above and beyond on all levels. Greens could in no way help that I had some faulty equipment that didn't even want to give a scant decade's performance; they simply did the best they could with the response and service times, and with that they performed absolutely STELLAR. The technicians and home support team have been awesome to work with. Thank you, Greens team, for doing your best to make sure I stay cool. read more

Had them come out on 5/8/19 because my ac was freezing up. Was told it needed freon. Let's just say I spent $400 to have 2 lbs put in. Plus $100 for them to show up. $150 a lb of freon is a bit excessive!! Because of this I certainly will not be using them ever again!! They also wanted to charge me an additional $170.00 just to tell me where the leak is coming from! Nope!! read more

Had used Green's in the past and when my girlfriend had A/C issues I recommended them to her. What a mistake! The first technician (Winston) came out originally and he was polite and friendly. He stated the motor for the condenser was bad and it needed to be replaced. She paid him over $600.00 dollars for this work. When she arrived home from work, the house was 90 degrees and the unit was not running. She called and Green's responded properly by sending a technician out at 10pm. Rock solid customer service at that point. Sadly, things went downhill quickly. The technician, (George), was rude and condescending from the outset. He even rolled his eyes to my girlfriend on a few instances. After an hour or so, George re-emerged from working on the air handler and said......"I don't know what the problem is, but it will take too long to fix tonight." Having remained silent throughout his time here, I asked....."if you don't know the issue, how do you know how long it will take to fix?" George immediately took offense and when I asked him what we should do, he said we should call Air-Flow! He stated he would not be treated this way and stormed out! I swear I never got out of my chair or raised my voice. He was a prima donna and behaved accordingly. The next morning Green's service manager Judy called to discuss the next step. Throughout the call she said George was her 'Best Technician", (she previously said Winston was),. I asked why her "BEST' Tech was working the graveyard shift and she got aggressive and said she wasn't going to be insulted. It was a legitimate question, not an insult. Could it be he works nights because his people skills are lacking? She called back a bit later and said she would not deal with hostile people and if we have a problem with it, we could talk to Mr. Green on Tuesday. She also stated she would refund all of the money spent $600-800 and to call someone else. Why would you refund money for work done if you were right and we were wrong? I personally found George unprofessional and Judy's defense of him laughable. Needless to say, I will never recommend Green's to anyone again. A once great company has obviously lost their direction. Martin D. read more

Scam artists. they charge you $79 to diagnose ac problem, and will not give you an itemized quote (labor and parts cost breakdown). We have used Green's twice when our A/C has died. Both times, they have been able to come out same-day, which is a lifesaver! Both technicians were friendly and took the time to explain what they were doing and what needed to be fixed. (The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that they are not too specific on what time the techs will be able to come...last time "after 1" turned out to be 5:30. But they do call when they are on their way, so that is a plus!) I would definitely use their service in the future! read more
