I found all this out after we signed and after the installation by doing some research online and came across an article that explains a class action in the state of California which represented clients who were swindled and scammed by the company putting a lien on unsuspecting senior elderly, and veteran consumers, and in our case it is the same . Company just sent someone out in July to do the inspection on the air conditioning, should been a red flag there. I had a problem and ask this company a question and learn that they had went out business 4 They promised that we would see huge savings on our electric bill, they installed a water heater, an attic fan, and solar panel and charged us $12,500 air conditioning and 12,500 dollars for parts and installation totaling 25,000 we are not wealthy people, we swallowed what they were dishing thought we were doing something in good faith that they were doing right by us in order to have huge savings on our electric bill , they misrepresented the service to us on the Pretense through their detailed sales pitch as if they were looking out for us in a caring way, when all they were doing was sucking and making a fool out us. They were advertising a great special for the month of June in my area. When I researched them directly I found they had some very good views but a few things concerned me. 1. They were not local to me 2. Didn't have a lot of reviews 3. Didn't have a good rating with the BBB. I approached with caution but still reached out. I was did business with a local paver company that had an "A" rating with the BBB and it was the worst contractor experience of my life. So I gave them a shot. In all honesty they were the best insulation company that I interviewed. They gave me Free estimate over the phone. When I expressed my concerns about them not being a local company, they drove down (3 hours) to give me some face to face time. I dealt with Shawn and it was a pleasure. He thoroughly explained the process to me and multiple options for payment. No high pressure sales. He was also the team leader that showed up on time to our home to get the job done.. He and his crew were all fantastic. They made what is by nature a very messy job as manageable as possible. They took all necessary precautions and cleaned up after themselves. This year I call them out for a service. Christopher said the unit looked great. A day later my fire alarm went off. No fire, no smoke but the attic was flooded and leaking water into a hallway on the second floor. I called just before 6pm and they sent Christopher out about 2 hours later. He said a different pan was broken and the sensor was busted, so thats why the unit didn't shut off. Quoted over $2000 to repair. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
