Our most recent preventative maintenance work was performed 3/13/26 by Jamir, who was knowledgeable, detail oriented, and did great work, as well as offering tips on how to keep the outside unit dirt free until our next maintenance. Not only do we love being a part of the care program but our AC went out Wednesday night, I called Gembecki on Thursday morning. They had a tech over in 30 min. Diagnosed the problem, called the office, ordered the parts. Shannon called to confirm appt, she had someone drive over the parts, had Tim meet us at our house to install new part and we were up and running with new part to AC all in same day!! I can't say enough about these guys. Start to finish they were awesome. Our unit was on the way out and Brett gave us estimates for fixing our existing unit or replacing it. He was super knowledgeable. We went with a new unit and Ron in sales gave us all our options. He was prompt and kept us informed about what would work for the space we had. The technicians arrived on time and spent the whole day installing the new system. Daquan and Tim answered all our questions and briefed me on the new system. This company is TERRIBLE! The people that own our building have been using them for the past 5 years. The Technicians that they send out are completely useless and have charged the building owners ridiculous amounts. We are currently working in an office that is LITERALLY 87 degrees. Our AC was replaced by them 3 weeks ago with a Brand New Unit! This is the 3rd time they have been out to our facility to "Fix" the brand new unit. It is just ridiculous. When the unit was replaced the tech came out and was on his personal phone on a phone call with a friend for 1 hour speaking very loudly. Finally one of our employee's had to tell him that he was being very rude and we were trying to work. Terrible, Horrible, Never would I pay them for service. There are MUCH better AC companies that can actually fix your AC without charging you an arm & a leg. Call someone else... Anyone Else. read more

This company came out to fix our heater. They called before hand and sent out a gentleman that was very respectful and knew what he was doing. After he had fixed the heat he then double checked to make sure that the AC would come back on as well and sure enough it did not. He had to rewire stuff from scratch. He went out of his way to make sure that all worked before leaving here which wasn't in the work order. Normally going through our home insurance people tend to do the minimum required. Not this company. I highly recommend them. read more

While the workers are ok and professional, they often don't have the chemicals or parts to do the work right now. The management seems to be looking for every way to nickel and dime you. They don't carry the stop leak chemical with them and use a supply house that is open only Monday through Friday; so good luck on the weekend if they need something. They often have to come out for another visit (more $$ for them) and you end up waiting for them to get it. They are bad about getting back with you on things and use the "We called you" excuse, though you won't have a record of it. read more

I am writing this review because I don't ever want anyone going thru what my family went thru. Our AC broke on the Wednesday before Labor Day weekend. We called our home warranty company who sent Gembecki out the following day (Thursday) around noon. They said it was the compressor and that they would have to order the part. On Sunday I called our home warranty company for an update. They said they had not received any status update from Gembecki so they emailed Gembecki that same day. Monday was the holiday. On Tuesday at 11 AM I contacted our home warranty company again to see what the status was/if the part had been ordered. THEY STILL HAD NOT HEARD ANYTHING FROM GEMBECKI. Meanwhile we have been without air conditioning for 4 days and I have a 3 month old baby boy and a 17 month old baby girl at home - does Gembecki care at all? Nope. So I call Gembecki myself to find out what was going on/if the part had been ordered and the person I spoke to said they have to "Research what was going on" and would call me back. For me that translated to: "Well, we haven't done anything with your case." They dropped the ball and meanwhile we're all suffering! So Tuesday all day I contacted both companies back and forth. At one point the home warranty company decided to call Gembecki themselves while I waited on hold. The home warranty company spoke to Gembecki and then told me that Gembecki would be calling me to schedule the repair. I immediately called Gembecki again to find out when they will be calling me to schedule the repair to make sure they don't forget about us again because we have been suffering without AC. They told me they were looking for the part now and were calling around. Seriously? You've known about the compressor since THURSDAY and now on Tuesday you are "calling around to find the part"? This is completely UNACCEPTABLE. Wednesday morning I called Gembecki again to see if they have found the part and when will they be coming out because again, I have 2 babies and a wife at home without air conditioning in this Florida summer heat. I asked to speak to a supervisor. After a brief hold I am informed that the supervisor is not there yet. So I inform the person that answered the phone about the situation and the compressor. She tells me they ordered the compressor and it should be there tomorrow (Thursday) or Friday. This is the last time I ever work with Gembecki. No sense of urgency and they need someone on them all the time for them to get the job done. What if I had waited a week before calling? Then we would be starting the process after a week without AC! Terrible, terrible experience. read more

RELIABLE, FAST, PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, I cannot say enough for this company and staff. Recently called them for air conditioning problem. arrived fast found problem immediately, and friendly. The charge was minimal since they fixed it so fast. Two days later heater would not work, same day response, found I had no problem after checking thoroughly and no charge. Merry Christmas to you and professional staff, I will never use anyone else for air or plumbing in the future. I never had such a positive service call before Gembecki. All three technicians are people you can trust with the work and being on your property, cannot say enough for my experience with this company.. I do NOT recommend this company. They were assigned to us through our home warranty company. When scheduling the appointment, we asked for a courtesy call 30 minutes before the tech would be at our house, between 12 and 3. I had to call them after 3 to see where the tech was. While the tech was great, he called his office while still at my house to get the paperwork started as we needed to have our AC unit replaced. The following day I followed up Gembecki to find out why the home warranty company hadn't received their information. I was told "the manager is out of the office and he is the one that calls the warranty company". I expressed my dislike in that only one person in the entire company was able to perform this task. They were apologetic and I was promised a call back that day. I never received a call back. 4 days later the manager is still out of the office and our claim has not been submitted. I would like for this person with all of the power to consider the fact that customer service and attention will far increase your business than holding all of the power. Not only have they lost our business and the opportunity to install an new system, I have also requested that our home warranty company drop them from their program. read more

I called Thursday to make an appointment to get a quote to have my entire system replaced. I called on Thursday to make an appointment and the soonest they could make it was for Monday. I made the appointment and was told a CURTIOUSY CALL would be made 30 minutes prior to arrival. The appointment was for 2pm- 4pm. The call was made to me at 3:50pm to confirm the appointment. I was on a business call and could not answer immediately. I called back at 4:07, and was informed that the tech was rerouted and would not be coming for the appointment. They advised I could have someone come again tomorrow. (5 days from my first call). If your AC is broken call a company that WANTS to help their customers. If this is type of service they provide to a customer that is about to drop $5-$6K on a new system, imagine the type of service you will receive if you become a customer. And don't bother speaking to management the office manager is rude and unhelpful. read more
