Love this company. The owner is a SOLID guy. I've used them a few times over the past 4 years. Responds very quickly to service needs and has reasonable rates. Services Received: replaced AC compressor, AC lines flushed, yearly maintenance read more

Such a great experience with Brad! I had another AC Company (Rinaldi's) try and scam me and do damage to my system so I got Astoria to come out for a second opinion. Thank God I did. Brad with Astoria was fantastic and came out within an hour of me calling him, he made the adjustments to the system and everything is running good as new. He saved me so much grief and money. Will definitely be using Astoria Heating and Cooling moving forward. read more

I left this service a message that I needed a tuneup on my AC. And somebody else came out and did the job. I then asked Astoria if they did duck work and the gentleman text me not to contact them again that I was costing him money wasting his time .I don't know what I did wrong but not the right way to treat people read more

Wow. Astoria is a company looking out for people. They don't try to sell you anything you don't need. Very honest and upfront. I would highly recommend this company. Steve. read more

After the call, they came out within the hour. The technician determined that there was too much refrigerant and pumped a bunch of it out. The technician saved the unit. Then, he thoroughly checked the unit inside and out to make sure it was running correctly. Only, then, did he leave. The technician saved the unit and saved the day. He had over 25 years of experience, and it showed. Terrific job! read more

Saw all the great reviews and hired Brad (the owner) to come out to look at a small, old AC system that failed. He got the system up and running quickly and charged a very reasonable price. I was really, really impressed by his knowledge of AC systems, his willingness to come out on short notice, and his honesty, so much so that I asked him to quote a replacement of the whole 20+ year old system. His quote, compared with 3 other companies, was extremely reasonable. Within a couple of weeks Brad and his polite, professional team came out and installed the entire new system in a day. We couldn't be happier with the end result. I absolutely 100% recommend this company based on our experience. read more

I called Astoria heating and cooling after having issues with another Ac company that was trying to over charged me on a part for my Ac. This company stated in touch with me thru the days leading to them coming out to fix my Ac and they were cheaper then the competition and honest. I recommend Astoria Heating and cooling. read more

They came out on a day that a hurricane was hitting to help my family after forever without ac! we had been a week or more out of ac, almost insufferable heat in the house! We had purchased a total replacement of system with a 5 year warranty that we can extend to ten year after a closer discussion. they also exposed us to there being mold in a system that we had the company check on pretty regularly without mentioning this. they gave us so much of a personal view and value on our ac. we had called them in for a estimate on monday, they said it would be done thursday, despite the weather, and they had everything with five plus guys to set it up on thursday. i will say they knew we had been out of ac for a few days prior to us calling them on hope of the urgency during the hurricane. they made it all work while look deep into our system and making necessary corrections. AC has changed in my house for the first time in ten years and i hope to see it only get better from here! a great deal for a group of people to prioritize you and your family! read more

I read many of the great reviews this company has received and I agree with all of them. Brad came to my house and got my AC up and running with out trying to sell me anything unlike the big company I had been using. I am a new customer for life now ! I wish I could give him more than 5 stars. read more

We had just moved into our new house less than 2 weeks ago, and one (hot) Friday afternoon our AC went out. Being new to the area and not knowing where to turn, I went to Yelp and found Astoria - which was both funny and ironic as we just moved down from NYC. I was connected directly to the owner, Brad, and he was able to make his way over to our house within the hour and upon arrival he was friendly, professional and honest. He fixed our issue in no time, and cleaned our unit outside as well. Highly recommend Astoria - they have a new customer here for sure! read more

Quick and affordable. They came out first thing on a hot day and were upfront and honestly, even gave me several preventative measures to keep my system healthy. Very VERY affordable and high quality work, especially for a last minute weekend call. read more

Astoria answered my request immediately. Showed up when he stated and offered a no pressure quote. Gave me a run down of what the work would consist of and how long. Hired him and he finished the job and cleaned up all in the same day with no unfinished business. What makes Astoria different is that the owner showed up with his crew and stayed on site the whole day to make sure everything was done right. From start to finish. 5 stars all day. He even checked up a couple months later to make sure everything was working just fine, professional workmanship, old school style. read more

Very friendly, great customer service and excellent work quality. Best price in town for my AC repair. Brad, the owner came out repair my 20+ years old AC himself. Will recommend above other if you want professional service and a company that won't exploit you with unneeded repair and prices. I appreciated the honest, reliable, friendly and professional. Great job. Great company. read more

Fixed my modulator issue and verified that my unit was under warranty. That saved me quite a bit of money. Highly recommend.

Brad came out next day and repaired my system. Found an a/c issue that the guy who came out 2 days ago didn't. He also made a small mistake on the heating system and owned up to it instead of waiting for me to find the issue later in the year. Rare to find someone like this - honest with good prices. read more

I gave Brad details about my unit over the phone just to confirm if he would be able to service it, being that it's an older unit. He did confirm that limited service can be provided. However, he offered me some advice that has it back operating for now. Much appreciated. read more

Needs work, as a single woman. Brad tried up to uncharge me from a previous maintenance visit so I showed a receipt from before. To top it off, when I went to get a second opinion of whether there even leaks in my unit only two months after his visit, the other company who did a full diagnosis found no leaks so I question his ethics. I overpaid him. I believe in karma. He wrote me on this website and doesn't seem to be aware of his own service calls. Stay away! Misleading read more

If you need AC work Brad is the man to call. My unit was not cooling properly but it was 20+ years old and he had kept it running for years but it was time for new. He gave me many options to choose from and he and his crew showed up on a Saturday morning at 8AM installed my new AC which required some work as old unit placement was no longer up to code. They did a great job and left my garage cleaner than when they arrived. You can't go wrong with Brad and his crew at Astoria !! read more

Absolutely incredible experience. Our old AC died on a Monday. By Thursday afternoon, Brad and his crew had replaced the entire system, piping and all and had us back up an running. The responsiveness was amazing, the professionalism was next level and the quality of work was superb. On top of all that, the cost was a couple hundred dollars less than anyone else. We will never use another HVAC company. We are customers for life now. read more

I highly recommend Astoria Heating and Air for your AC/Heating needs. The owner Brad came to my residence, took measurements and gave me a fair, written quote on a Trane system. His technicians arrived this morning, went straight to work and tonight i am enjoying a quieter ac system than what I had and most important a cooler house. Both technicians that did the work were friendly, did not chit chat and did not take a lunch break until around 2:00 pm ensuring the project was completed. Owner Brad registered my new unit with Trane and stopped by my house at job competition to ensure everything was at it should be. There were no surprises, no broken promises just great service. read more

Old ac system was leaking and since it was 17 years old, thought it would be better to replace than repair. Spoke to several companies, most of which weren't going to be able to get the product I wanted. When I called Astoria I was impressed right away. Brad came out very promptly and gave me an estimate of what he could provide and when. He was very straight forward and polite and didn't waste my time or his. I hired him the same afternoon, and now just a little over a week later I have a beautiful new system installed! Crew was great too. Thank you Brad, and Astoria Air! read more

Definitely recommend Bradford and his team. He was responsive and informative. He could have tried to sell me systems that I didn't need or would have paid for more in electricity but he didn't. He and his team are very knowledgable and responsive...two key characteristics that you need with A/C in Florida...in the summer! read more

My boss was staying at his second house in Orlando. And at 5pm at night his a/c went out. I live in Cali, and knew of no one out in Orlando. I went on yelp and clicked on Astoria, and was desperate for anyone to come out. I didn't think anyone would be available that late in the day. But when I called Brad he picked up right away, and he came out within an hour, and fixed my bosses a/c right then and there. That is amazing service! My boss said he was wonderful. Brad even kept me updated with what was going on. I highly recommend Brad! Wish we had him out here in California. read more

I've used Astoria twice now, they are always quick to respond, very knowledgeable and helpful.

Very responsive on short notice. Had a tenant call and let me know thier AC UNIT wasn't working, had 3 companies come out and look at it since they were all saying the unit was blown (18 years old). Astoria was the last company to come out and look at it and by far was the most professional and took the time to explain all options and upfront pricing. Within 2 days they had a brand new unit installed and their crew was equally professional. Will use them going forward for all of my properties for sure. read more

We were having AC problems in the summer, and Astoria was quick and responsive to come out on the same day I made an inquiry. Bradford was extremely helpful and found an issue was with the thermostat. He also added some PVC and replaced some tubing for a better flow and output with the drain pipe. They also gave good information on my current HVAC system and a quote for a replacement since we have an older unit, so we can prepare to upgrade in the future. read more

We live in CT but my daughter's AC is in Orlando Fla. I found Astoria/ Brad by checking on YELP for positive reviews. Brad make an appointment to come out to look at unit very quickly, patched it up and came back out and made final fixes ( mostly under warranty ! ), and it's now working fine. We found him to be extremely responsive, very honest about repairs and prices, and my daughter stated that on top of it he was nice guy ! We will keep his number on file for future needs, and we recommend him to all. Thanks again, Brad ! read more

Called late on a Saturday night and the owner Brad answered. Our air stopped working during the day and we had come home to a pretty hot house. He came very quickly and worked very efficiently. He is very friendly and trustworthy. I will use him again for sure and he will be on my list of first recommendations for anyone looking. Definitely a stand up guy and a great company! read more

Brad at Astoria provided a couple options and was the most competitive of the five contractors whom we solicited for a quote. Astoria was able to get us scheduled before we left on vacation and competed the install of a new split-system unit before the day ended. They did a five star job in terms of quality and we are looking forward to working with them on any future maintenance we will eventually need. read more

We had been working with another service provider sent by our warranty company, and after multiple visits our AC still went out nightly. Finally, I called Brad at 6 am (!!!) and he was at my house by 7 am. He admittedly had a full day and not enough time to do his full diagnostics, but did do some temporary fixes he thought might work. We got cool air for the day but by night it wasn't working. I texted him at 8 pm, and he responded and made an appt to arrive at 8 am. He was prompt again (which is very rare these days), did his full diagnostic, found the REAL problem, and fixed for a fraction of the cost the previous tech was trying to get out of the warranty company. Our AC has been working perfectly since. I cannot recommend Astoria Heating & Cooling enough!!!! read more

Super fast service. Great conversation and fixed my issues and charged a fair price for worked performed. Will use again in the future

Brad showed up early after he called and was very knowledgeable of the unit. He explained what he was doing and why, and walked me through the process. He was professional and happy to answer my questions. He gave me a great deal and even told me about replacement of a part that would need to be serviced soon. With the horrible times we have been having with money lately, it's good to know someone is out there to help and not looking for extra payments. Great rates. Work done in less than an hour. Payment on site and matching invoice handed to you. I will definately be calling him back for continuing service on my ac/heater unit. Thanks so much for taking care of us! read more

I hired Astoria (Bradford Gordon) to clean out a clogged condensation drain to my AC. He was great!
