Be careful using this company. They have great techs but poor customer service (Accounting/ service manager). They will give you poor pricing when trying to renew your service contract. When you question them on the pricing not adding up, they will drop you as a customer. read more

These guys are real professionals! My 80s house had the original duct system (which has poor airflow to the extra rooms at the South end of the house where it's warmest) and 15 year old condenser and air handler which was weakening. I was suplimenting this with window units for a few years. Jacob's designed a replacement trunk for my house using manualJ specification (seriously don't consider any other duct system) and replaced my dying AC system, new condenser I wanted in the backyard so had Freedom Electric install a new electrical box at the new site ahead of time. Jacob's ran new lines in the attic and now the old one on the side is hauled away! I requested modifications to the original proposal including adding active filtered return vents to each bedroom, filtering the original return vent in the living room, and added surge protectors to safeguard the new equipment. The new trunk system with the modifications I wanted was a little more expensive but completely worth it. The new system was already good but it was apparent too much air flow was going to the North side where needed the least, to fix this I requested they add a damper to the duct going to the master bedroom on the North end which is next to the air handler. We cut about 75% of the air pressure going to the master bedroom which helped close the gap in temperature difference between North and South sides (from about 5 F in the afternoon to 1 F :) . I'm a analytical person and tend to ask a lot of questions and tend to annoy people whose answer is usually One of my biggest peeves is when "experts" refuse to answer the why of any question and merely assert to be experts. This team demonstrated their experience and knowledge to me very clearly and provided acceptable reasoning to each answer. All my initial doubts were put to rest and they worked with me without any argument when I brought up the pressure distribution issue I noticed after the initial install. These people tolerated my inquisitiveness and helped me through the process to figure out solutions to all the problems I wanted to resolve with the old system. The professional attitudes were very consistent from sales down to the installation team and the manager who came out later to inspect the work. I couldn't ask for a better experience! I want to stress that I do not fault them for the original 5 degree variance but appreciate how quick they were to resolve the complaint and implement a low-cost solution without making a fuss. Usually fixing one problematic system results in other existing problems more apparent. This house needs new insulation and vinyl windows but I just can't afford it now. The HVAC overhaul was the first major step to updating this house. Now I'm confident the house will be comfortable all over. Good by window units! read more

He was most responsible during this pandemic ugh...spending time to clean coils and everything. I used to be in the industry and sold "what keeps you cool - refrigerants" He was very professional - spent about 1 hour. No extra charges for anything unusual. Extraordinary company to do business with!! From our first phone call to set up an appointment for an estimate on a new A/C system to completion of the installation, everyone involved was pleasant, informative, and competent and professional. The office ladies, Penny and Debbie, answered our questions, called us back, and were always cheerful. Robert Jacob was so personable when he came to check out our needs. He listened to our concerns, and gave us much helpful information so that we could decide on what A/C system and accessories we would need. He promptly sent estimates for four different options, and then revised them further as we considered our choices. On the day of installation, four technicians arrived promptly and each one got to work to get everything going smoothly. John, Devon, Bryson and Roy were considerate of each other as they took out the old unit, moved the old air handler and compressor and worked to upgrade our air return size and worked quickly and efficiently. It was a Very hot day, but we heard no complaints and they worked steadily til all was done. We couldn't be happier with the entire company employees and our new A/C unit!! Horrible people to do business with. They were the original installers of my AC unit so I called them about my unit going out. I spoke to their Manager and he told me that they could replace my current setup (variable speed) to a single speed unit for a lot cheaper than replacing the old motor. So I setup a time for them to come out and replace the unit and the guy come out and said he couldn't do it and they still are trying to charge me a fee for them coming out and doing absolutely nothing. When I called to ask about this charge they sent me in the mail I was told that the manager would call me back but he never did they just sent me another bill in the mail... Stay away from this company they just want to take your money. read more

I have used this company since I moved to Deltona some 9 years ago. They seemed to be on their game for the most part, however all that changed when they installed a new 6k ac unit for my upstairs. To look at the duct work and electrical you would be impressed, as I was, but it has turned into a nightmare. I have mold growing out of my ducts, around my attic opening and around my attic fan opening. They have have been to my house over a dozen times and have just made the problem worse. The owner, Robert, even came out and made some suggestions, which made things worse. Several valve changes, compressor change, filter upgrade, duct cleaning, bleaching, register sealing, blocking off my attic fan, new insulation around stair opening and still the problem persists. It is to the point now we find it hard to sleep upstairs. I have been VERY patient this whole time as they seem like good people, but honestly I do not think they know what to do. Oh and now the system is out of warranty. I have spoken with other ac companies, mold remediation experts and duct cleaning folks and they all point to the way the system was installed, maybe to big or too small, not enough return, the list goes on.....Does anyone know a GOOD ac company? read more
