If you have these terrible built ins that do not let you fit a decent sized TV I am going to recommend you call or e-mail Wes at New Ceilings. I am over the moon with the work that was done. I have wanted these two barriers removed since 2017 when we moved in. I have stared and them and even thought about cutting them out myself. I am so glad I did not. Called on Friday to set up a time for an estimate. Wes and I agreed to Monday at 11am. I immediately sent my address and contact info. 11am Monday - no show, no call, no communication. I texted him and said I assumed he didn't want the job. He apologized, claimed "one of my guys misplaced my appointment book so I have been doing damage control. I do want the opportunity to work with you. I will make it up to you on the job" Because he apologized and seemed sincere I thought it worthwhile at least getting the estimate. After agreeing to a time Tuesday, he then asked me to resend my address. (wth???) I could still see it from our texts on Friday, which he acknowledged! I told him I'd find someone else...the whole thing tells me there is some lack of organization and attention to detail. I have a huge pet-peeve of anyone behaving as if their time is more valuable than mine. I should have received some communication this morning rather than losing an hour and a half waiting for someone to show to an appointment. So, while they may do a good when they actually show up, I'll never know. I'm giving 2 stars instead of one only because he at least apologized. read more

Last 2017, we had a chance to have them worked in removing our Popcorn ceiling and they did AWESOME! This year, we wanted to have our kitchen remodeled but decided to raise the ceiling first before putting in new cabinets. I contacted them again and they gave me a very reasonable price for the work they put into it. They strive for professionalism, works neatly and CUSTOMER SERVICE is amazing let me just say that! They will never leave your home dirty and their work is totally wonderful! I could talk nice things all day about them and am just happy they always do their job in a timely manner! New ceilings removed our popcorn ceilings and textured all our downstairs rooms two years ago and it came out beautiful. This company was amazing. Dale came out and gave me a quote on the spot which was more than reasonable. Before he left my driveway he emailed me the written quote. I had a bunch of new drywall installed where I removed a lowered kitchen ceiling and where I removed walls. They also patched a bunch of holes in multiple walls and existing ceiling where I ran new electrical wiring and then they scraped a bunch of popcorn ceilings and textured a bunch of walls and did a knockdown ceiling texture. When Dale said they could do it in one day I thought that there is no way they could do it that fast and it be quality work. They proved me wrong. Dale's guys are drywall artists and did a fantastic job and cleaned everything up. Great job...will definitely recommend them. read more

Dale and his team at New Ceilings were AMAZING! After several calls to other companies, no shows - delays, etc. I reached out to Dale. He was very responsive and saved us a considerable amount of money. Due to a leak in my roof, a portion of my daughter's ceiling had fallen into her room (3x4ft size). The other companies stated that I needed to fix and texture the entire ceiling. Dale and his team came in, replaced the drywall and matched the texture so closely, that no one would even notice that it was patched. The crew laid plastic as a walk way to the room and hung plastic all around. After they finished the job, they cleaned and swept the entire area. I highly recommend New Ceilings. read more

I would highly recommend everyone avoid using this company. A year ago we hired New Ceiling to install and finish new drywall on the walls and ceiling in our guest room. New Ceilings was initially very responsive and professional. The process took three days. We did a walkthrough on the third day and the drywall looked great. Less than 6 months later we began to notice a seam on one of the walls was beginning to show. A month or two after that a seam on the other side of the room began to show. Then multiple screws started popping out of the ceiling. Shortly after, I contacted the company, (they do after all have a two-year warranty on their work). I described what was going on and received a one-sentence response. No apology for the short-lived satisfaction of their service, no thank you nothing, they did not even sign the email with a name. Compared to the way they spoke to us when we initially contacted them it was extremely off-putting. We arranged a time, my husband stayed home from work and then an hour before the appointment they emailed to say they needed to move it to the following day. I emailed and said a day the following week would work. Again a time and date were sent, my husband stayed home and they didn't show up. No call, no email until two days after the fact. We gave them yet another opportunity, after all, we had paid nearly $2k to have the room done and we wanted it corrected. They showed up took a look and said they would send someone out next week to fix it. Great! Over two weeks go by and we do not hear from them, finally, I get an email saying they would be there the following Thursday. So again my husband stays home from work, and again they do not show up. It has been a month and we have not received an email, a call or any sort of explanation or apology as to why we were again stood up. At this point, we no longer want this company in our home and instead, we will have to hire another company to come out and correct their mistakes. Please learn our lesson and do not hire this company to take care of anything in your home. They do not stand behind their work and the quality will not hold up over time. read more

Wes, Dale and Matt did a terrific job for us. Replaced the popcorn, retextured and painted the ceilings. They did such a good job we just had them come out and paint the entire interior of house. Another awesome job. The guys and their teams are very courteous, they clean up after themselves and we have no reservations in recommending them. We had New Ceiling come out and remove the old popcorn from our living, dining and kitchen areas and spray knockdown texture. They took the time to make sure everything in those areas were protected. This is a great team. We had a hole in our ceiling in a very visible area of our home. I had several quotes, all said it would be all but impossible and the only way to go is to redo the entire ceiling. With an open floor plan that meant kitchen, family room, hall way, dining room and entry way. Stefan's team came out to look at it and felt they could match the knock down texture where the difference would be minimal. Sure enough, they matched it so well unless you knew the hole was there before you wouldn't know there was a repair. This was important to me since we hope to sell the home in the near future and didn't want this to be an eye sore. They also did it with efficiency-in and out in less than 20 minutes and no mess.
