I couldn't be more impressed with the care I've received from Wade and Susan. Getting an appointment is easy, Flora (at the front desk) was warm and helpful getting me scheduled right away. From the beginning, everyone went above and beyond to ensure I have the best possible prosthetic fit and functionality. They worked with me over the course of the year to find the right foot, even when insurance covered less than I'd hoped for. Wade's attention to detail is unmatched, creating a nearly perfect-fitting socket that has significantly improved my comfort and mobility. What truly sets Wade and Susan apart is their dedication to staying on top of the latest prosthetic technology. I was looking for a prosthetist in July of 2007 and had done my homework on what type of prosthetic I wanted. I lost my leg above the knee due to a motorcycle accident. Now I just had to find the right person to take care of me, because they are going to be your life long partner. I had spoke with at least 3 others in the area and had actually ordered a C-leg from one place, but I was not really comfortable with them. I went on Otto Bock's website that listed authorized prosthetists and I saw Prosthetic Solutions listed on the website with two locations in the Bay Area. I immediately called for a consultation and one of his staff, Linda, (GOD BLESS HER) got me in promptly. Most of the other places had told me I would have to wait 6 months before they would cast me for my socket, including the one that I had ordered the knee from. He had stated that he was very busy and felt that it would take months to cast me and make a socket. I met Wade and explained that I had a busy lifestyle and need to get back in the game ASAP. Wade replied "not a problem I will cast you now and then train you how to walk". I canceled the C-leg from the other company and went with Wade the man, myth and legend that he is! He knows this business and he knows prostheses as if he was wearing one. He can just watch you walk and he will see what the problem is. It's like he can almost feel what you are feeling. He really cares about you. All the staff are like family. The team fought hard for the Genium I now have and love. They didn't care that it would be a battle, since they knew it would benefit me. I have met and spoke with many people that are amputees, mostly at the clinics that Wade and Susan have put on. I have also met many in the office when I'm there to get an adjustment or need supplies. Most have been somewhere else first, been frustrated, then they find Wade and Susan and all of them are happy. For prosthesis, Wade at Prosthetic Solutions is the best. I became an amputee in Silicon Valley, and Wade made my prosthesis for me. It worked so well that I didn't truly appreciate his skills until I moved to Southern California. I spent years with several new prosthetists in the area. They tried to build new prosthesis that didn't fit properly. I had over 20 visits to one that tried to make adjustments that still caused tremendous amounts of pain. To be fair, the ER surgeons who performed my amputation did it to save my life, not for it to be optimized for a prothesis. One prosthetist recommended that I should have another surgery. During a business trip to Silicon Valley, I was in a tremendous amount of pain and stopped by Prosthetics Solutions. Wade gladly made a few changes that helped significantly. I returned later to have him make a new prosthesis, and I used it for many years until he recently built a new one for me. Both required extra care and more skills, and Wade has these. read more

My name is Jim and I have been struggling with my walking abilities with my prosthetic leg for some 18 months. My first Prothestist provided no instruction and my 2nd Prothestist sent me to a rehab person who was very limited on their knowledge skill in teaching me how to walk properly. I am an above the knee amputee and searched high and low for someone who could teach me how to walk. I struck it Rich in finding Ward and Susan. This should have not been so hard but it was. Within 1 hour Ward had me walking like I had not walked in 34 years. I had a lot of bad habits from having a fused leg for those 34 years and I had had 13 knee surgeries before my amputation in March 2017. I can say with confidence that if you want to know how to walk right you need to see Ward and Susan. My walking was so improved, it brought tears to my wife's eyes. I have a long way to go to make this 2nd nature but not nearly as far as I have come. Take a step out of your comfort zone and contact Ward, it will be the best move you have ever made. What can I say, Wade has helped me get to where I am. In a year and a half with Wade, I've done 7 Spartan Races and two triathlons. I can ski 50 MPH again. Hit a golf ball 300 yards.
