I've had a PurAgain system in my home for about two years, and unfortunately my experience has been…read moreextremely frustrating. During the original installation, the plumbing underneath my sink was installed incorrectly, which caused a backflow issue and eventually rotted the wood at the bottom of my cabinet. I was initially assured that someone would be sent out to repair the damage. Later, I was told they couldn't find anyone to do the repair and was asked to find someone myself to provide a quote. The contractors I spoke with told me that because of the extent of the damage, it would likely be cheaper to replace the lower cabinets than to try to repair the rotted area. I relayed that information back to PurAgain, and after that, communication basically stopped. When someone later came out to service my filters, I showed them that the cabinet damage was still there and had never been addressed. On top of that, the under-sink water tank stopped producing water. PurAgain did replace that tank, and the technician told me I should hear from someone within 48 hours regarding the cabinet repair. Once again, nobody contacted me. Now, only about six or seven months later, the replacement tank appears to have failed as well. At this point, I've dealt with damaged cabinetry caused during installation, repeated equipment issues, expensive replacement filters, multiple promises of follow-up, and very little actual resolution. I also previously left a review about my experience, and I recently noticed that it is no longer there. I have no idea why it disappeared, and nobody ever contacted me regarding it, but I wanted to make sure my experience was documented again. I'll be contacting PurAgain again regarding the latest tank failure, but after approximately two years of dealing with these issues, I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

Russell went out of his way to accommodate my time schedule and arrived early to check the system out so I could run up to Austin for a medical appointment. The softener was running correctly but the taste was still off. He recommended a whole house carbon filter as a solution. He explained the water company is probably adding more chlorine because it is a community well, which does leak and break often. I'm completely confident this will solve the taste issue. Not only was Russell prompt, but also courteous and highly professional, just as he was 6 years ago. On top of all this, this solution was very reasonably priced. I would recommend Lone Star Water Services to anyone looking for an improvement to their water quality at home. I honestly can't say enough great things about this company and Russell, and their forthright and thoughtful approach towards their customers and their water issues.

We called and got a very competitive quote from Steve for a water softener install and were so impressed with his professionalism that we just decided to use him from the first call. We scheduled our installation and then Steve had done several water softeners in our neighborhood and knew that there was a builder that did not connect the clean-out from the water softener to the septic system. He did the research and confirmed that our builder was the builder known to not have connected them to the septic system. He then came out on his own time after-hours one night and dug the hole around our clean-out to confirm at no extra charge to us. He referred us to a plumber who got the clean-out connected correctly and then came back the next day and completed the install in the time frame promised, at the price promised and with a thorough training job done to make sure that we knew how to work the system. From start to finish, this was one of the best customer service/professional jobs that I have ever seen from a contractor and will continue to use Steve and Aqua Systems in the future.
