Bone in por chop apples onions and mashed potato's
    Kile S.

Awesome meal this past evening with my wife. Pierogis are amazing. The pork chop is in another world. Apples onions and mashed potato's wow for a night at 16 degrees. Beer selection amazing and the wait staff a bit understaffed was awesome. Go with the potato soup it's amazing.

Gunselman's Steakhouse delivers a memorable night out with food that mostly lives up to its…read morespecial-occasion price tag. We started with scallops and shrimp cocktail, and both hit the mark; fresh, well-seasoned, and a great first impression, although the scallops were too small to order again. For soup and salad, the lobster bisque was rich and comforting, the Greek salad bright and flavorful, and the half Caesar was solid and satisfying. Sides were treated with care: the sweet potato was cooked just right, green beans and asparagus were crisp-tender, the brussel sprout were sweet and savory, and the risotto and mashed potatoes felt like true comfort food. On the steak front, the wagyu filet was the star, tender and indulgent, while the prime filet and the Delmonico were cooked well and packed with flavor. We wrapped up with crème brûlée and strawberry cheesecake, and the kids cleaned their plates, which tells you all you need to know. If there's a downside, it's the price; for what we ordered, the bill felt a bit steep. Still, given how consistently good everything tasted, and Greg's exceptional service, we walked out happy and will absolutely be back for more.

We really like that the entrées come with your choice of two sides, which were all very generous and tasty. This also helped offset the cost when comparing to other steak restaurants that charge à la carte for sides. Bryan, our server, was extremely friendly, courteous, and attentive, as was the rest of the staff - from the kitchen runners, to the table bussers, to the hostesses who greeted and seated us. We were seated in the upstairs dining room, which was cozy with lovely wooded views. Acoustics were also just fine and we had no issues with hearing each other. Kudos to the management for not playing loud music, the ambience is perfect and doesn't need it. We will most definitely return soon! Only suggestion would be to jazz up the butter served with the bread. The unsalted whipped butter served with the unremarkable bread made us suspect that the rest of the dinner would be underwhelming, considering that was the first thing placed on the table for us to eat. Luckily everything else was spectacular!

Everything is awesome! The service is always friendly and attentive. Tonight I had the pierogi melt burger. The bun is 2 large pierogies. It had provolone cheese and grilled onions. It came with peppers and onions on saurkraut. I added mushrooms. Plus it came with a cup of smoky sour cream. It's definitely a place worth checking out. All

Visited Gunselmans after reading a Reddit post regarding "best burger in Cleveland"…read more I came here seeking a good burger as I was recently disappointed by my experience at Whitey's Tavern in Richfield. This place had a gnarly wait. Front house staff was transparent but kept pushing my party of 2 back. Lent menu was small, a few fish fry options and only one burger on the menu. I ordered the cheeseburger with everything on it. Ketchup mustard onions lettuce tomato American cheese. Burger was large and favorful. In fact you can tell its a really good mix of 80/20 because it was dripping in juices. Fries were crispy and came with just the right amount (and a pleasant surprise of nacho cheese sauce). Burger was well worth the price of only $12 and 25 min drive. I will be back. Hard to get such a good burger with fries at this price. 8.8/10 I do recommend visiting.

First of all, they know how to brew good beer. Great selection and love just about all of them…read more Anyway, the hostesses are very friendly. The whole dinner experience starts there, so kudos to the seating staff. Food is pub food, so take that in account. It's all pretty good, but nothing amazing there. Still I always enjoy whatever I order. From the one-time that I ordered dessert, I can't say I was impressed. The pie seemed like it is really just some frozen pie bought at the local grocery store, so can't expect anything amazing there. Last trip we ordered the brewed root beer. It came flat and warm, so that alone was disappointing considering it is brewed there. The place is pretty good sized and really loud. Almost enough to make it annoying for some, but I guess that's expected when you have a room full of people drinking beer. Service was decent. Again not great but okay. Takes a while to flag down our waitress, but nothing too crazy long, but if I wasn't drinking beer, I might feel otherwise, so that should be considered. Overall, a pretty decent time every time we go. We have been a handful of times, so clearly we enjoy it and maybe I'm being a little nitpicking in this review. However I return mostly for the beer, and in my opinion, that's enough for me. My wife isn't quite as excited to go since she doesn't drink beer. Anyway, I urge everyone to check it out.
