Luca west is an experience, I would dare say better than Luca's in the downtown area - reason being the special menu that is unique to the season and very well prepared!. It's upscale and chic and the food tastes delicious! Also - this post might not label the dishes correctly as I was lost in the flavours (yes, that's true!) Service is amazing, swift and proactive staff. Ambiance is chic.

Made a reservation for a Monday evening for my husband and I. The service was nice and professional. They kept the warm bread flowing! Enjoyed a glass of wine. I got the salmon that came with some lobster ravioli and thought it was very good.

I finally visited Luca West on Friday evening, May 17th 2024. I arrived for an early dinner with a friend at 4:40pm. I came strictly for happy hour ($7) which is from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. CUSTOMER SERVICE (5/5) -- Our host/server, Danijela, was wonderful. She was managing the bar as well on a busy evening and she did a great job bringing water, complimentary bread/oil, and our dinner to the table. She was very attentive and friendly. Excellent. FOOD - HAPPY HOUR (5/5) -- Happy Hour is a great deal at just $7 a plate. I ordered the Orecchiette pasta and tried some of the calamari that my friend ordered. The Orecchiette is made with Italian Fennel Sausage, Rapini , and White Wine. It was just your classic orecchiette and I enjoyed it. The calamari was tasty as well. I especially loved dipping the soft bread into the calamari tomato sauce. The quantity (size) of both dishes was more than enough food for one person and I was full after leaving. My friend ordered a drink, the peach bellini ($7) which she enjoyed. I don't drink alcohol so I didn't get a drink. I can't wait to return to try other italian dishes. I heard their patio is beautiful so I'd love to see it next time (it wasn't opened today). At just $7 a plate during happy hour, you can't get a better deal than that anywhere else in town, that I know of. TIP -- The entrance may pull you away because it doesn't look like a restaurant but you are in the right spot. Luca West is just connected to an office building. Also, parking is free because there is a big parking lot at the front of the restaurant. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 31/150 total reviews in 2024 - 681 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 17 May 2024

Beautiful location for a meaningful celebration. We went for our anniversary two years in a row and it feels like the food is better every time! Friendly staff and great service! Have recommended to many people!

Have I driven past this place dozens of times? Yes. Why didn't I stop by you might ask? Because I thought it was an office building, oops. I came during happy hour with a friend to sample their menu a bit. Danijela was our server and she was very prompt and attentive. We got the bread with the olive oil dip very fast as a we perused the menu. She was happy to answer our questions and I went with the calamari. It was a great choice - well balanced and genuinely a lot of food for $7.00. I also opted for the beach bellini and it was a great pairing. This place was VERY popular and I can see why. Great food and fantastic service - I definitely want to come back!

We went to Luca west for a group dinner on a Thursday night. We ordered calamari and eggplant for the group to share and my Fiance and I split the branzino. The food was pretty solid. The free bread was warm and soft, the eggplant was good, and the calamari though unusual was tender. Our table side deboning of the branzino was a very fun element. However, the service was unfortunately very spotty. We waited at least 15min just staring around hoping for someone to take our order for dessert (we got the tiramisu and it was also good, nothing special but not bad). And then another 10-20min for us to get the check. TL;dr Decent food, very spotty service, nice ambiance. Maybe sit at the bar?

This is a very nice Italian restaurant. They serve pasta, seafood, and steak. They also have a list of wines and other cocktails. Our waitress was wonderful. Always checking on us. There is also a bar that you may sit at and eat as well. I recommend their Filet Mignon. Everything is cooked to perfection. It's definitely an upscale restaurant.

I went to Luca for my stepmom's birthday dinner with her friends and my sister and sister in law. What a fun place! The patio was spacious and from the decor you'd never know you were in a Cleveland suburb. The atmosphere was very European. They have a very extensive wine list, many available only by the bottle. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio which was crisp and perfectly chilled. For my meal I got the arugula salad and the tortellini, but before that, THE BREAD. Warm, crusty bread with roasted garlic spread. I would have been happy with just that! Our server whose name I didn't get, didn't bat an eye with our large group and he was knowledgeable and helpful with answering our menu questions. As a special treat for my stepmom, the staff brought her a little dessert with a candle and took her photo and printed it for her. Such a nice touch. Thank you Luca West, for a nice evening.

Food is always so good here at Luca west! They were very busy for a Sunday evening. We sat on the patio and had good service. The patio is nice . Not loud. Has a bar. Different than the inside of the restaurant. We always enjoy coming here. It's very good Check it out

    Dress code? Are jeans ok?

i wear a dressed up jeans look there for happy hour at the bar and have been fine. it's a white tablecloth restaurant, so i would suggest an elevated look.

I knew I was going to love Sauced Taproom & Kitchen just from looking at the menu even before we…read moretried anything. There's such a wide variety of options that it was honestly hard to decide what to order. I ordered the Yum Yum Melt with a side of broccoli. It was just okay for me. The sandwich was a bit on the thinner side, didn't have many onions, and it seemed like it was missing the garlic aioli. There were also no yum yum pickles on the sandwich or on the side, which was disappointing. I wouldn't order that one again. My one son got the Curd Burger with a side of mac & cheese and really enjoyed it, especially the extra flavor from the hot honey pickles. My youngest ordered the Teriyaki Bowl (chicken, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, caramelized onions, teriyaki sauce over seasoned rice) and absolutely loved it. My husband tried the Caprese Burger with a side of Cajun fries, which was another solid option and he enjoyed it very much, especially the Cajun fries which were full of flavor. He also tried two of the beers, he ordered the Wangies - a hazy double IPA and he tried the Sasquatch Sightings - Russian Imperial Stout. He said both were excellent. I was intrigued by the different pizzas on the menu, which I am excited to try next time, I love that you have the option of ordering by the slice so you can try different ones or a whole pizza. Our server, Nick, was great; very personable, friendly, and helpful with menu suggestions since it was our first visit. The atmosphere was great also. Overall, a great spot with a fun and diverse menu. Even though one dish missed the mark, we'll definitely be back to try more items!

Sauced Taproom & Kitchen is a casual brewery in the heart of Lakewood. I frequent this part of…read moreLakewood and must have passed it a million times. I finally had an excuse to visit for a bookish bar crawl. I visited with a large group of book lovers. AMBIANCE: Urban brewery vibes with half brick exposed walls, wood furniture, wall of local beer plaques, and dim lighting. There is plenty of seating - a bar, high tops, and tables. On Saturday night the place was absolutely buzzing, lots of beer lovers! The space seemed equally tailored to the large groups, couples, and solo guests. My group was very comfortable despite us occupying the main space. FOOD/DRINKS: The taproom has a large selection of craft drafts, 49 to be exact! They are reasonably priced - $4-5. Some of the local brands are featured on the menu - Masthead, Bookhouse Brewing, Fat Head's, Southern Tier, and others. I wasn't in the beer mood during my visit, but my friend loved her beer choice. The menu is not limited to just beer, you can select cocktails, spirits, wine, mocktails, and more. There's something for everyone! The brewery has scratch kitchen. The menu has a lot of choices considering it's a brewery. Menu categories include pizza, salads, empanadas, wings, sandwiches, bowls, fries, desserts, kids menu, wraps, and brunch. There's a vegan section as well. Most of my bookish friends love that the menu featured pizzas by slice! I selected a bowl which seemed like a hearty fall day meal. My choice was Bourbon Chicken Bowl ($14.50). The dish was overwhelmingly spicy for my palette. My friend ordered a seasonal special (Seasonal Gnocchi Bowl) that was a lot more tasty and not spicy. SERVICE: Our group had only one waiter. The service was very impressive considering that he was serving everyone who was not seated at the bar. Every order was accurate, the service was fast, and he was super nice. For his sake, I wish for better staffing at this brewery. Everyone in my group enjoyed their experience and food! I would be back to try pizza! Oh, and beer of course!
