Ellie's Chicken Piccata

Had a really nice time at this restaurant. As a winery they have a huge list, can also get flights. The food was very delicious, everyone in my party enjoyed their food. Would definitely recommend and will return. Our server was very nice.

Short rib dinner was so delicious!

Posting an update after our first visit... This trip we went on Thanksgiving. It was nice that they offered a traditional turkey dinner, but the full menu as well. We all had something from the reg menu. Started with the ahi sashimi & drunken shrimp, both excellent! For our entrees we had a surf & turf with filet medallions & grouper, braised short rib and soy ginger salmon. We were all pleased with our meals. Our server was so nice & efficient! We had a really nice time!

We came here for a birthday dinner with some friends - it was a great night with good food/wine! First off, every person gets 2 FREE.. yes free wines to taste, they will ask you what kinds of wine you like at the very beginning and pick wines for you to try based on what you say!! (Very fun!!!! we got a tootsie roll wine ) The food was very delicious! Started with the over the border egg rolls, it comes with 6 so enough for us 4!! - very flavorful / would order again Both gnocchis were SO YUMMY, I do think that the allá vodka one had more Italian flavor, but the carbonara one was very good but in a more simple flavor way! My friend got the flat bread and said it was delicious, not too heavy if you're looking for something light! Because the birthday girl was present, we ended the night with a salted carmel creme brûlée! And they gave us 2 free truffles!

Loved this so much last week, went with a friend for lunch on 11/13. So very good. I could wax poetic about the mashed potatoes. Who knew that mashed potatoes could be so very tasty? Our waiter was nice, offered suggestions and was not intrusive. The greeters were friendly and polite. The restaurant is clean and the noise level is great. My only complaint was that a glass of iced tea and glass of Diet Coke cost $4.99/each. When you are charging $19 for a lunch entree you shouldn't charge that much for soda and tea.

Did the sweet wine tasting with my friend and the ambiance was perfect! Beautiful location and friendly staff.

I went here on a Friday for lunch and it was my first time here! Our server was great when we said it was our first time dining in and allowed us to try a few samples of wine before ordering, along with giving descriptions for a few. We ordered a glass of the Cooper's Hawk Lux White Meritage and a glass of the Cooper's Hawk Lux Pinot Noir. The wine was spectacular and the server really helped us decide with the samplings. For our meal, we ordered the Classic Tomato Brushetta - we both don't like tomatoes (go figure!) but this was an amazing appetizer. It was light and delicious. The person I was with got the Chopped Wedge Salad and Lobster Bisque. It was a great mix and the perfect size for lunch! I got the Cooper's Hawk Chicken Giardiniera. When I tell you this chicken was fantastic.....!!!!!! Everyone needs to try this. It was a great lunch and the pickled veggies and mashed potatoes with the chicken made it 10x better!!!

Five star again with brunch. This place is wonderful and flavorful. Great times with great friends. Best wine selection and variety.

Everything was delicious!! It was a super busy night, but the service was still great! I didn't even remember to take pictures of everything because my meal was so great, I only remembered to take a picture of dessert! I got the bubbles flight, drunken shrimp, caprese flatbread, the crab, shrimp, and lobster bisque, the filet medallions with scallops, and then the Banoffee Pie for dessert. All the food was 10/10. Will definitely be returning!

Creme brulee French toast, brunch menu item 12/14/2024

This was my second visit and everything was even more delicious than before. We went for brunch. The candied bacon was the perfect texture, very thick and not flimsy (I requested it more well done). The creme brule French toast was heavenly. The breakfast potatoes were well seasoned and crisp. The carbanera gnocchi was tasty as well. All of the ingredients in the dish were great quality. Our server was down to earth and very attentive. Excellent service! We made reservations online the day before. The restaurant didn't open until 11a so all the patrons walked in at same time. The staff did well to accommodate and organize the mass.

I went here on a date and it was really nice inside. It was very busy and the inside held a lot of people, but it was also very nice inside. Our server was very attentive and informative. As it was our first time eating there, he voluntarily explained the menu to us and the wine list and gave us his person. The food was pretty good. There were a lot of menu options but I ended up ordering the country rigatoni which was pretty good. My boyfriend got the gnocchi carbonara which he enjoyed very much. For dessert, we shared the salted caramel crème brûlée which was my favorite part of our meal. We also ordered the white wine flight to try which I loved. Our server also gave us complimentary blueberry wine for us to try and it was amazing. I might even buy a bottle of it next time I'm in the area! I would recommend Cooper's Hawk for a nicer dinner. If you are looking for a more intimate restaurant setting, this is probably not the place for you but my boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time there.

Had a lovely brunch yesterday at Cooper's Hawk. It was a beautiful new building. We enjoyed the calamari, two of the big salads on their menu and brought home two desserts. I loved my hard coffee and pear martinis. Our server was lovely! We will be back because we joined the wine club! The tasting staff were so friendly and fun to chat with. Worth checking out. This will be our new spot!

Service was great and the food was excellent. Wine from menu was available for purchase in their store. Lots of cute and unique gifts as well. Family oriented place so it wasn't quite and intimate but overall a good meal.

5 Stars - Amazing Food and Service! Cooper's Hawk in Avon completely impressed me. The braised short rib was absolutely amazing--the flavor was rich, bold, and unforgettable. It left me wanting more, which led to the ginger spice carrot cake--moist, perfectly spiced, and just incredible. The food here is next level. If you love braised short rib or carbonara pasta, this spot is a must-visit. And the peanut butter & jelly old fashioned? Easily one of the best and most creative drinks I've had--and at a great price. Also want to highlight how responsive and helpful the headquarters management team has been whenever I've reached out. That kind of care really adds to the experience. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Bingo was fun and appropriately priced (this was their third bingo event ever), the decor was decked out in a retro 1980s Miami theme, and I LOVED the special menu they developed for us! Now let's talk about the food and drinks! Like I said, there was a special menu (see included picture) but we could order from the regular menu as well. I ordered a caramel iced cold brew ($4 and so sweet and refreshing!) and their fig jam and goat cheese flatbread ($14). I will be dreaming of that flatbread for a while, it was that good! The concept--part winery, part brewery--definitely intrigued us, and I'll say right off the bat: the service staff was truly fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and clearly putting in the effort to make guests feel welcome. That said, the overall experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The seasonal mixed drinks were creative and fun, and the fries were surprisingly solid. Unfortunately, the spicy chicken sandwich was underwhelming--bland, without much heat or flavor--and the buffalo chicken dip was just decent. With a pretty limited food menu, we found ourselves wishing for a few more standout options to round out the visit. To be fair, we didn't sample any of their craft beers, which could very well be the highlight of the place. But for a Friday happy hour at 5:30, the sparse crowd (just eight people, including us) made the atmosphere feel more quiet than energetic. I genuinely want to root for a local spot like this, and I admire what they're trying to build. But based on our experience, this feels like a one-and-done for us. I'm still giving it 3 stars , largely because the staff really did make the best impression of the night--and that counts for a lot.

Placed appetizers order of crab cakes and smash burger. Waited a bit and then placed order for two salads as part of our dinners. Salads came out before the appetizers. I must say the crab cakes were delicious (maybe not $26 delicious), the smash burger was ok, very greasy and fries were not very hot. My biggest disappointment was my entree, Parmesan Crusted Seabass which is one of my all time favorites that I order when I see it on the menu. The plate looked delicious but looks can be deceiving. The Seabass was more breaded than Parmesan crusted. Usually When I order this it is Seabass topped with shredded Parmesan cheese and baked, this was not that! Then the sauce that covered the spinach and potatoes and lobster pieces had red chili flakes added(which is not noted on the menu) which added "heat" to the dish that I was not expecting nor was I able to eat.
