A quick add to my initial review. They have fresh cut fries. But I swear they are just like Cedar Point town friar fries. Top notch!!!

An incredible addition to Fairview Parks dining landscape. Renee and Lindsay have created a family dining experience that looks to be promising with fresh scratch made ingredients and a simple menu that is well priced and quite literally delicious. We were greeted upon entering, sat immediately with great service and even better food. We ordered the margarita pizza, fantastic sauce with an even better crust, great bite. Next warm olives with a great citrus tang and house made focaccia. Our entrees came with the option of soup or salad, my husband loved the Italian wedding soup with shredded chicken. Next up entrees: I went with the special pasta dish, pomodore sauce fjords made tagligette, shrimp bay scallops and squid, all cooked perfectly. My husband had the chicken parmigiana, huge potion and perfectly seasoned. Did I mention the wine list and craft beer selection is on point too. We will definitely become regulars.

My mom was craving Italian food on Friday night so I opened up the trusty Yelp app to find something within a reasonable driving distance from Lakewood. I wanted to try a new place and ItaLee's fit the bill. It was a packed house that night and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The service was outstanding. It might have been the nicest and most pleasant group of people working in Cuyahoga County. One of my gripes with Italian food is that it is usually exorbitant prices, not the case here! The portions were excellent and prices were low! We are already planning our return visit. Highly recommend!

Went to ItaLee's for a 2nd time yesterday, and it's official. A+, 10/10. To make a long story short, the first time we went was opening weekend and they had run out of pasta (right there, that's a great sign of a restaurant). I ended up ordering the Italian beef sandwich which was mouth watering. Yesterday's visit wasn't as hectic, but still busy, but still great and attentive service. My gf and I started our own "Pizza Friday" 1.5 years or so ago and decided to try ItaLee's for pizza yesterday. We were promptly seated, ordered 2 delicious, home made cocktails, and placed an order for a "well done" house blend cheese with garlic and butter sauce. We sat back, enjoyed the vibe, the people smiling, and then our pizza came. OH MY! My gf's first reaction "I will crave this" My reaction "Hello carryout window". We live in Westpark, and it's without question worth the drive there. I can keep going on, but enjoy the pic of our pizza, and take in the air bubbles in the dough. It's the first thing I noticed and the first thing I tasted.

Atmosphere was a wood, rustic, whiskey barrel feel and the food was great. Came back this year, and it was probably the most brutal restaurant experience I've had in a while. So Char is now called Avo Mexican, but they didn't change the atmosphere to replicate a Mexican place. It's still whiskey themed- with signs slapped on the old logo. They still have some of the old menu items from Char- which is so confusing too. When we walked in I asked the host if the bar was open seating. He said "oh I don't know" and walked away. We just sat at the bar since he didn't come back. We asked the Bartender what happened to Char and he said the owners wanted a rebrand. But it looked like a whiskey bar still....they didn't rebrand anything. I got a marg and my guy asked for a Mexican beer they used to have. Bartender said we haven't had that in a year. So they got rid of all their Mexican beers....? Even though they are now a Mexican place? So he ended up getting a Coors Light. My Marg lacked any sweetness or Agave. It was tequila and lime juice- poor bartender was struggling with 4 bar guests. It was kinda sad. I got a taco salad and my guy got a burger. He used to get the burger with fries, but now that it's Mexican, they only have chips. We had chips and guac for an app, so that was super annoying. Fries used to be really good. And who wants a burger without fries? Place wasn't busy, but our food took 35 minutes. Bartender kept apologizing and saying the kitchen was slammed. It clearly wasn't, I'm sure the cooks were adjusting to a new menu. Food was okay. Used to be really good, but I wouldn't recommend anymore. I guess they close at 8pm some days, because around 7:40 when we just had gotten our food, the bartender said it's last call. We were kinda laughing that they did a last call during normal dinner hours. My fiancé was considering getting another beer after dinner, but I guess they were closing...so weird. I've never seen a place close at peak dinner hours. No idea why they rebranded it. Confusing signage, food is not good anymore, drinks are bad, atmosphere doesn't make sense, menu is lackluster, service and kitchen are lacking, hours are bad. Sucks to write this, but I 100% will not be returning.

There's such a wide variety of options that it was honestly hard to decide what to order. I ordered the Yum Yum Melt with a side of broccoli. It was just okay for me. The sandwich was a bit on the thinner side, didn't have many onions, and it seemed like it was missing the garlic aioli. There were also no yum yum pickles on the sandwich or on the side, which was disappointing. I wouldn't order that one again. My one son got the Curd Burger with a side of mac & cheese and really enjoyed it, especially the extra flavor from the hot honey pickles. My youngest ordered the Teriyaki Bowl (chicken, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, caramelized onions, teriyaki sauce over seasoned rice) and absolutely loved it. My husband tried the Caprese Burger with a side of Cajun fries, which was another solid option and he enjoyed it very much, especially the Cajun fries which were full of flavor. He also tried two of the beers, he ordered the Wangies - a hazy double IPA and he tried the Sasquatch Sightings - Russian Imperial Stout. He said both were excellent. I was intrigued by the different pizzas on the menu, which I am excited to try next time, I love that you have the option of ordering by the slice so you can try different ones or a whole pizza. Our server, Nick, was great; very personable, friendly, and helpful with menu suggestions since it was our first visit. The atmosphere was great also. Overall, a great spot with a fun and diverse menu. Even though one dish missed the mark, we'll definitely be back to try more items!

I finally had an excuse to visit for a bookish bar crawl. I visited with a large group of book lovers. AMBIANCE: Urban brewery vibes with half brick exposed walls, wood furniture, wall of local beer plaques, and dim lighting. There is plenty of seating - a bar, high tops, and tables. On Saturday night the place was absolutely buzzing, lots of beer lovers! The space seemed equally tailored to the large groups, couples, and solo guests. My group was very comfortable despite us occupying the main space. FOOD/DRINKS: The taproom has a large selection of craft drafts, 49 to be exact! They are reasonably priced - $4-5. Some of the local brands are featured on the menu - Masthead, Bookhouse Brewing, Fat Head's, Southern Tier, and others. I wasn't in the beer mood during my visit, but my friend loved her beer choice. The menu is not limited to just beer, you can select cocktails, spirits, wine, mocktails, and more. There's something for everyone! The brewery has scratch kitchen. The menu has a lot of choices considering it's a brewery. Menu categories include pizza, salads, empanadas, wings, sandwiches, bowls, fries, desserts, kids menu, wraps, and brunch. There's a vegan section as well. Most of my bookish friends love that the menu featured pizzas by slice! I selected a bowl which seemed like a hearty fall day meal. My choice was Bourbon Chicken Bowl ($14.50). The dish was overwhelmingly spicy for my palette. My friend ordered a seasonal special (Seasonal Gnocchi Bowl) that was a lot more tasty and not spicy. SERVICE: Our group had only one waiter. The service was very impressive considering that he was serving everyone who was not seated at the bar. Every order was accurate, the service was fast, and he was super nice. For his sake, I wish for better staffing at this brewery. Everyone in my group enjoyed their experience and food! I would be back to try pizza! Oh, and beer of course!

One boy was climbing on the railing and my seat. His parents were not watching him. It happened multiple times. Sibling Revelry advertises a family friendly environment, but some parents are not watching their children. I would definitely choose another brewery with a more laid back feel and less commotion.
