Came in hoping for a nice dinner and left disappointed. They didn't have martini glasses, so my cosmopolitan was served in a short glass instead. It also took so long to arrive that by the time I got it, the drink was warm. We were charged $1.50 for "extra sauce." One of those sauces was actually the wrong salad dressing the waitress brought by mistake, and the other was for my fiancé's fries. Charging customers for a server error is not a great look. My meal was a classic Reuben and it was really tasty, not a lot of sauerkraut but a descent portion of corned beef. My side was loaded fries, fries are interesting as they're a skinny version of potato wedges. Everything is à la carte, so prices looked a bit cheaper 'till you add sides. Wanted to spend a great night with my kid after the hectic pace of Thanksgiving so we went to see a show at The Hooley. Our server is very attentive and nice. The salads were huge. The fries are Irish style pub chips but they were seasoned well. The white garlic pizza didn't come through on the garlic though. They have a great draft selection as well as specialty drinks. For an establishment this big the prices were pretty reasonable for the food. The drinks are a bit pricey. They have a great stage, a huge dance floor, and it's festively decorated for the holidays. Met a couple of friends for a quick bite and a few drinks. The place was not crowded at all, one large table with what looked like a work gathering and maybe 6-8 people at the bar. Our server would usually stop by the table and then disappear. We got served our meals with no silverware and our check was screwed up at the end of the meal....All things I could generally deal with as I know good help is hard to find these days. The worst part of the night was the food poisoning I got from the chicken salad I ate. Two days later and I'm still not feeling great. The menu here at Hooley house is extensive and there are a lot of choices for a fairly low price compared to other restaurants; however, the reason for this is because the quality of food is not exactly on par with other restaurants. We ordered an appetizer, sliders, chicken wings, and chicken tenders. The cheeseburgers sliders come with two mini burgers and a side of choice, but the cheeseburger sliders were extremely dry and had barely any condiments inside. We chose a side of pub chips which were good but you can't really mess up the chips. The chicken tenders come with your choice of sauce and we chose honey mustard, but there was so little sauce on the chicken tenders that it tasted like plain fried chicken. The chicken tenders Were cooked well and they weren't dry but the lack of sauce really took away from the meal itself. The chicken wings on the menu were named "jumbo" chicken wings and when they came out I was not disappointed because they were slightly larger than the typical size of chicken wings that you would expect. We ordered a honey garlic sauce for them and they really put enough sauce on our wings for us to enjoy it. It comes with a choice of ranch or blue cheese dip for the wings, but I believe it was supposed to come with celery sticks that were not included or forgotten. The staff at Hooley house are nice and attentive and that is probably why I gave this review a two star instead of a one star review. For the price that you pay, I believe that You are probably better off paying extra to go somewhere where the food is better--I would not come back to eat here even though the prices are lower. A unique thing that I noticed before coming into the restaurant is that they have live music outside on their patio. This might be something that would up the experience a bit more and make it a better experience at Hooley house. read more

This location is near the airport so I've stopped here with people I'm picking up from or dropping off at the airport. Besides being convenient, the atmosphere and the food have been good. The dining room is large and there are loads of TVs . It's been several months since my last visit. I was taking some folks to the airport Friday so we left home an hour earlier so they could get a bite before their flight. The dining room was nearly empty at 4:00 pm and our waitress seemed pleasant but probably new. We ordered beers that took a while to come out but got warm water with a couple of melted ice cubes on top while we waited. One of our party had a gluten allergy. The waitress didn't know how to deal with that. After she walked away, I called over another server who was clearing a nearby table and asked her. She happily went and got a gluten free menu. Another person ordered a Cuban sandwich. When all of the food came out 40 minutes after we arrived, the Cuban sandwich was a Reuben sandwich. The waitress apologized and said that she'd order us a Cuban to go. I went to the men's room before we left and it just smelled bad. Overall the food we got was good. Came in on a Friday night. Cavs was wrapping up and they had a good crowd, but plenty of room to sit. Never been here before so we stood at the hostess station for a few minutes before someone came over and asked if we had been helped? This is my second time here and since I am not from the area I never know when I will be back. My first time here I ordered an appetizer that included two sliders some onion rings and some boneless chicken wings. I love this place!! Yeah they have regular bar food like wings and burger but I swear these cooks put some type of love drug in here because I can't stop coming back for more! And this is the one place that serve tator tots!!!! I would definitely recommend anyone to try the loaded carnivore tots!! These tots are served with corned beef and an over easy egg! The menu is accommodating to healthy eaters as well with heart healthy salads that is full of delicious toppings depending on which one you get. And if you have to modify your foods to be grilled or steamed they will do just that! The truth is I am no longer a big Bar goer... those days passed me up when I had my kids. I know plenty of men and women who continue going to bars and that is fine, and I like to do it Sometimes but the majority of my eating and drinking establishments are family based. The food was actually ok. I always laugh at Irish Pubs that have things like Irish Egg Rolls, and Tacos on the menu. But I get it Irish fare is a little self limiting. I had a wrap. It was definitely filling, and the tots were good. Nothing special. The salads looked pretty good. I feel like this place wants to be both an Irish Pub and a Sports Bar. So there's lots of TVs running which is fine, but distracting and not conducive to conversation like you would find in, for example, a pub in Ireland. The deal breaker for me was the music. They have one of those machines where the patrons can put on whatever asinine music they want. OK fine, but an hour straight of Beavis and Butthead style death metal!?! Really. Given the setting people go here expecting, ya' know, IRISH music. Maybe a little pop stuff. But screeching aggressive discordant death metal for an hour just so one table of goof balls can mouth the words at each other and bob their heads. Good grief. It would be unforgivable if somebody came in and played an hour of Baby Shark. How does the management not understand that it is just as unappealing to hear somebody screaming in Swedish?
