I won't divulge how to find this place because that was half the battle and made it worth the wait. We ultimately were gathered in the hotel lobby to take us back to the speakeasy - the welcome drink was a super nice touch! The speakeasy itself is fairly tiny - seats about 30? It felt super swanky and loved all the wood - felt like we were somewhere back in the 30s. The cocktail connoisseur behind the bar, Danny, makes you a custom made drink based your preferences. They can of course make standard drinks but what fun is that? In their menu, they have a list of the most popular liquors (gin, vodka, whiskey, rum, etc.) and then flavors that typically pair with those liquors. For example, I wanted some sort of whiskey sour and asked to make it with peach or ginger flavors. My husband asked for a gin drink with crème de violet and got a delicious play on an Aviation cocktail with aloe and rosemary simple syrup. Overall, a little bit of a hiccup to find it and get in, but the experience was awesome! Was a little scared when there weren't any prices on the menu, but for the overall experience of getting a custom crafted cocktail, it felt worth it. Follow the canary! They have super traditional absinthe, absinthe cocktails, and absinthe wash cocktails, but also "normal" cocktails, beer and wine. The vibe is just really nice. It's chill, friendly, clean and comfortable. I love that they have a couch as well as a bar for sitting. There is a dart board and a few bar games you can play. We sat at the bar because we heard great things about the happy hour from the locals. 2 Food: We researched before coming to Breckenridge what place had the best burger and Aurum's French Onion Burger came up at the top of the list. It did not disappoint. It was cooked to perfection (we like medium rare) and the sea salt french fries were delicious (no condiments needed for the burger or the fries)!! 3. Employees: The Hostess was friendly and got us seated right away. The Bartenders (Mike and George) made our evening a blast. Mike Ruda has a signature drink on the menu that he created called the Duck Fat Cadillac and it is a home run cocktail (10 out 10)!! George Johnson is a great conversationalist and is engaged with the customers. We showed him a twist to our favorite drink back home in San Antonio, the Carajillo and he made it perfectly! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Breckenridge and make sure you grab a seat at the bar and enjoy the conversations and the Duck Fat Cadillac!!

We have been friends for 26 years and we took a girls getaway to Breckenridge. I can't begin to say enough positive things about your establishment! The martinis were absolutely scrumptious. Christian is a dedicated young man, and as I told him he is like "an old soul in a young body". I mean that with the highest regard! He is completely squared away, he was personable, kind, and friendly while still tending to all of the guests that were there. One thing that impressed me the most is how he kept his bar so organized.....he has an incredible attention to detail... before he served any drink, he put a straw in it, pulled it out with his finger held over the top of the straw and sampled a taste of the drink, and then would throw the straw away. I've only seen this done at a few establishments, which I can tell you Cecilia is at the top of the list and the epitome of a wonderful experience! The only thing I would ask in return is that the owner of Cecilia's please recognize Christian for all of his efforts. Too often in life, people are very quick to complain about a negative experience and as a result, no one will take the time to reward positive experiences. I'm hoping as the owner of this establishment will recieve this message and anything else that you can do as an incentive for your employees will trickle down to Christian God Bless, Vicky & Anna

I think I had a cider since they didn't have any sour beers (and I'm soft) and it was crisp and delicious. Prices were fair, and it's a pretty "know what you're getting" type of place - there's no pool or shuffleboard etc, just a bar. They had some decent merch too. I didn't even know they had an RMU in Tahoe, I've been to the Breckenridge location and that's what made me want to check this out. Would definitely pass by again if I'm in the area

How do you rush your customers. I get it's 8pm but you're open until 9:30 and if you're in a rush go home and send a server that wants to be there. Service, service, service. It was absolutely non existent and at a restaurant that isn't McDonalds prices, do better. You never came back to our table and asked if the food came out ok or if we needed more drinks. As a matter of fact, my spouse walked to the bar and ordered their own drink, unacceptable. Absolutely ridiculous. We couldn't enjoy our meal because the service was so poor and I'd absolutely not return. We had the Halibut, which was tasty but could do without the ro and the chicken dish, which was prepared well. The steak tartare was just ok and the bread and hummus was a good addition. Nah, wouldn't recommend. Please have a conversation with Olivia Z., if she's having a day she needs to exit and not work that day in hospitality.
