Prospect Optometry - SSSSSSNAKES! - Eyewear & Opticians Near Me - Lomita, California

Dr. Kaspian is amazing! She explained everything so clear to me. I completely understood everything we discovered in my eye exam! She was so wonderful and exuberant! Everyone in the office was amazing. The esthetic is professional and detailed. I really enjoyed my appointment. I can't wait to come back. Their inventory was vast with many options. Dr. was well versed in color lens options to treat issues with headaches and blue light. She had all the latest optical technology in the exam rooms. Booking an appointment was easy. Very flexible. I heard her speaking Spanish as well to another appointment. Someone looking for dual languages would love her! Love this office! read more

I was really excited when this place opened. It is down the street from me, and I used to drive to Torrance for my eye exam appointments and contacts. The facility is super clean and cute, all of the employees are very helpful and friendly, and the owner is very personable and great! They also have a little playroom with toys. It really made my appointment much easier since I had my toddler with me. My contacts usually arrive within a few days after ordering them. They have a wide selection of frames at all different prices. Their prices for exams, contacts, and lenses are all very competitive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! read more

First time both with Dr. Kapsian and glasses, I was very impressed and satisfied. Dr. Kaspian is sensitive and attentive to your needs. Prices were very reasonable. I won't be looking for any other eye doctor! read more

I love this place. Dr Javanfar is so caring and pays so much attention to each and every one of her patients. They have a great selection of glasses and her front desk girl is really friendly too. I highly recommend going here. They're not commercial at all....very very personal service! read more

I stopped by just to check out the eye where selection and I'm happy to say I found a lot of pairs of glasses that I fell in love with. The most important part of me finding this new location is the genuine care that Dr. Kaspian provided. She was kind , gentle and very detailed with my diagnosis. I have astigmatism and have had it for years now but Dr. Kaspian took the time to give me extra pointers and finally get me contacts that are actually conferable to wear. To top off all the amazing things about this place I would also like to mention that her assistant is exceptional and very friendly. read more

I ordered 2 pair of distance glasses and one pair for near. The distance glasses worked for near-distance work, on my computer. I was able to see better without the glasses while driving. Either the wrong prescriptions were submitted, or the lab screwed up. Was told to come in the next morning at 10:30. Got there and was told two people ahead of me bc they had appts and I did not. Huh?? I realize mistakes are made, but I was blamed for the glasses not working. "It's your first time wearing glasses." WRONG! Been wearing them for 35 years. Gave me a receipt for a refund, but they neglected to submit the refund to my bank account. Had to call them to get it done. They neglected to call back my insurance on 8/5 (as they were told to do by my insurance) to reverse the charges. Had to go into their office physically to ensure it got done. They told my insurance I "couldn't adjust" to the glasses. Really? Another lie blaming the patient; them not taking responsibility. I am able to use them to read, when will they change for driving?? Each step of the refund process, I had to be proactive to get them to do their job. Because they did not call back when they were told to, I now have to wait an additional 7-10 before I can see a competent optometrist who doesn't gaslight the patient. Be accountable for your mistakes and incompetence. INTEGRITY does not exist in this office. Keep in mind, businesses can remove negative reviews; they have control over what you see and don't see. Just beware! Note her reply below. "YOU NEED HELP, go elsewhere." EXACTLY! If you need help, go elsewhere. Not this place. :D read more

I'm very happy to share my review of Prospect Optometry. Today was my first time there and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Gloria even got me a same day appointment. Doctor Kaspian made me feel comfortable. She took the time to explain everything she was doing while checking my eyes. She checked my eyes thoroughly. And even prescribed some eye drops for an infection in my left eye. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family. Oh...and one more thing, they have an amazing selection of glasses! read more

Dr. Kaspian's attention to detail is amazing. This place is not a quick "in and out" office. I came here with my mom and we individually thought she gave such a thorough eye exam. We don't have perfect eyes, so if there is a problem, she will spend the time to figure it out and fix it. Also, the office is clean and modern (see yelp pics), with a great selection of eyeglass frames. read more

For the past few years, I've been searching for a good optometrist in Redondo and Manhattan Beach, thinking I would find the best styles there. Last December, after having my eye exam at an optometrist in RB, I left with neither glasses nor contacts. The only glasses I could find were too expensive, and the quote I was given for contacts was several hundred dollars. I just couldn't spend that much money on myself right before the holidays. Flash forward to this year... I saw a friend of mine wearing several different pairs of gorgeous eyeglasses. She recommended Prospect Optometry. When I came in for my eye exam, the optometrist was great and she was very patient as I tried on different contacts. I also found several options for eyeglasses. I picked them up today and I couldn't be happier! Affordable, great style and wonderful service! read more

This business proves the value of Yelp; because I decided to try Prospect Optometry because of the many 5 star reviews that were posted by it's customers! And now I wish to add another 5 star review of my own on behalf of my wife Carole. After redos because of a faulty 3rd party opthamologist's RX; Dr. Susan with courtesy and professionalism did necessary redos so that my wife was completely satisfied. Thank you Dr. Susan and thank you Yelp!! read more

I decided to try out Prospect Optomety for the first time this week. I heard of Dr. Kaspian through a friend, and I have to say, she was the most informative optometrist I have met. I have worn glasses for 11 years, and contact for 3 years. She actually gave me some tips and advice on my contacts that no other optomistrist had taken the time to do. Not only that, but I called in on Saturday afternoon and recieved an appointment time for the following Monday. read more

I have been wearing glasses almost all of my life and have seen many optometrists in my lifetime and I was most impressed with Dr. Kaspian's personalized service. I never felt rushed during my appointment so that she can move on to the next client. She made sure that all of my questions were answered and my concerns were addressed during my appointment. Her stylish boutique office is very warm and inviting. She also has a great selection of glasses and sunglasses. I was so impressed that I referred my husband to her! read more

From the warm welcome when you first walk through the door, a thorough eye exam with a wide choice of frames in different price ranges to choose from, and a commitment to help you see better, look better, and feel better when all is said and done. They keep the place, including an extra play room for small kids and the restroom pristine and clean. Our whole family goes here for all our optometry needs, including our grown up daughters. Dr. Kaspian is absolutely phenomenal. From the moment I walked into her office, I felt completely comfortable. The customer service was amazing and genuine. She took her time helping me to find the perfect glasses and sunglasses for me. Dr. Kaspian was patient and extremely friendly. In addition, I bought contact lenses after she recommended them to me. I am an avid runner and I have always been skeptical about wearing contact lenses. However, I am so grateful that she made this recommendation because it has truly changed my running experience. One of the many things that I loved most about Dr. Kaspian is that I never felt that she tried to pressure me into buying anything. She helped me to find things that were in my budget and I am ecstatic by the purchases that I have made. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an optometrist. I will definitely be going back! read more

Dr. Kaspian is an angel! I had long wanted to try contact lenses but had many misgivings about putting them in and taking them out and to what degree they would actually improve my vision. Dr. Kaspian exercised extraordinary care and patience in fitting me with many different prescriptions until I felt they strength and distance versus reading focus was just right. Moreover, she never flinched at my initial clumsy attempts at getting the contacts in and out and stuck with me until I managed to do it with competence and ease. I cannot endorse Dr K. and her staff with more enthusiasm and confidence that all her patients get the same level of thoughtful and intelligent care that I received. read more
