Mario, at Prosource, helped me pick out the wood based one samples from various vendors and answered my questions in great detail. The product arrived quickly and my installer brought it to our house. The installer, Vito, did an amazing job explaining what he was going to do and then quickly completed the work. He's a real professional and knows his craft. I highly recommend working with Mario at Prosource and If you need an installer, Vito's work is unquestionably excellent. Be careful - they will only communicate prices through the contractor and there is nothing "Wholesale" about the price they pass along. it was actually the most expensive option, even when compared to brick and motor for flooring. They claim they price match, but the process is so obfuscated you have to "make time" to price check - in my experience it was more expensive through them than through the most luxury retail store. its almost impossible to even get them to look at your price match data. I am sure they are fine, if you do all your price matching research way before they have time to quote your bill. don't be "that guy" they see coming - that's all I have to say about that. read more

I just wanted to make you aware of the update Thank you, Peggy June 29 - I have received zero communication. This is disappointing that any company does not care about a $6000 problem! I will handle this situation myself and will strongly suggest GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I am extremely disappointed in ProSource! I have had 2 appointments there with Norma. The first I was told hello and that I would need to come back and bring measurements, ideas and photos etc to make the most of your services. My question is why was I not told this prior to coming to the store and wasting my time? However, I played by the rules and made a second appointment and showed up on time and asked for Norma. I brought the house plans and photos as asked and waited for 30 minutes with no one coming to tell me anything. I went up to the front after that time and said "Bye". I cannot wait any longer. Norma was on the phone taking orders and answering questions for someone else. My time is obviously not valuable enough for ProSource to care about keeping their appointment with me even when I am sitting in their building. read more

How hard do you think it would be to order a 10x13 carpet to be finished out to an area rug. Not difficult at all. After a waiting from a Friday to then next Thursday I waited for the salesman, Paul, to return a final call. Never happened. I had to chase him down with empty promises each time he would get back. He did not. Excuses and untruths. The carpet and infomation was all in place. I do not know what clientele they serve but obviously not an individual order. I moved on to a well established company in Denton in two hours they had me taken care of and ordered. read more

Buyer beware. We originally did some work through Prosource and spent thousands of dollars buying materials for our bathroom. When we decided to redo our kitchen. We thought we would use them again. We had a scheduled appointment with our representative, she was 30 minutes late because she was with another client and then she was rushing us through the process because she had another client right after us. Several weeks later we tried following up on the requested quotes never heard back from our representative so we had to go to a different store to get the materials we needed. Again. We tried following up with our representative and she never responded to our emails. DO NOT use Prosource of Allen. I will definitely never use them again. read more

This is my second time to use ProSource. Marian is wonderful and has great advice and suggestions. Love the selection that they have available. Just avoid the guy right at the front when you first walk in. My husband and I both felt he suffered from rudeness. He does not reflect the rest of the staff. read more

Hope Gonzales at Pro Source is amazing. She helped me pick out both carpet and laminate for my floors, and gave me ideas for my backsplash in my kitchen. She was very personable and when issues were noted, she was quick to take ownership for lack of communication/delay and quickly resolved everything. Terrible service! Terrible cabinets. I could have gotten the same quality of cabinets at Home Depot for 1/2 the price. The "designer" kept trying to redo my kitchen layout & argued about the measurements I gave her. Cabinets arrived with nails sticking out of them, scratches and wonky doors. If I could rate this company a 0, I would. We worked with ProSource to order porcelain counter slabs through MSI for our kitchen remodel three months ago. These counters were being discontinued so we wanted to make sure we ordered them quickly and far in advance of our remodel. Our designer (who is incredible, by the way) confirmed with ProSource that the counter slabs we ordered in June had come in several weeks later and would be ready and waiting for us when the remodel began. Now, 6 weeks into our kitchen remodel, the fabricator goes to MSI to pick up the slabs we ordered through ProSource and our fabricator is told that ProSource cancelled our order (please note that ProSource still has our money at this point). ProSource denies cancelling the order, and tells our fabricator to visit MSI the next day ... our fabricator went to MSI the next day and was given two cracked slabs, which he rightfully denied. THEN, ProSource tells us that the counter slabs we ordered never came in the measurement we needed. The representative we worked with told us that the slabs only came in 6mm, not 12mm. **If you do your research, you'll find this is a lie. MSI does (or DID) in fact sell this particular slab in 12mm, but because the order was somehow cancelled, it's clear as day that either the slabs we purchased three months ago were given to someone else and because they are discontinued, there are none left in stock to give us... OR we were promised, and paid for, slabs that had already been discontinued.** Meanwhile, ProSource then tells us that they will get to the bottom of what happened and that they had "no idea" that MSI cancels orders after 60 days of no activity. We are left in the dark for another day until ProSource again tries to cover up whatever shady business happened and tells us that they have never sold this particular slab in 12mm. They finally provided a refund for our order today, but we are left with no countertops to install next week and another 3 weeks to a month of delay as a result. They told us they would provide an audit trail of what happened to our counter slabs/who was to be held accountable, but that of course never materialized. They did not make themselves available for our designer when she paid an emergency visit to their Allen location yesterday to try to find a resolution, and they offered no additional compensation or "how can we make this right" attitude for the de-railing of our current project. They will lie to cover their own tails, folks. We will not be using them for our future remodel needs, and we will never recommend their services to anyone. If you want to work with a nightmare, work with ProSource. read more

Use caution when ordering. We placed our order and the cabinets came in wrong. They blamed us for the mistake but to everyone on the project it was clearly prosource who made the mistake. Their solution for a fix was even more terrible than the original mistake. We had a cabinet that didn't arrive, they informed us it was on the way, a week later we received the door for the missing cabinet. The actual box frame of the cabinet was on back order. After 12 weeks still no cabinet. We have just been informed it will be at least another 5 weeks. At this point I think we would have had a better experience at a big box chain. The cabinets we ordered are nice, but we also have high end cabinets from a big box store in our house that are equal in quality and looks that were less expensive. They also arrived all at once and on time. read more
