I've been coming here for years after disappointing experiences at other big box and local ski shops in Seattle and Bellevue. Michael, Corey, and the rest of the staff are incredibly knowledgeable about all things skiing related including backcountry. These are not seasonal workers suggesting random boots or skis, but experienced skiers that take the time to understand how and what you ski before making recommendations. They've nicely corrected my misunderstandings compared to other ski shops that shrug or make up a bad answer. I've gotten multiple tune ups and skis mounted here with great results. If they don't have desired skis or bindings in stock, they can often check with the factory directly and order on your behalf if you chat with them. My wife bought boots here and they were meticulous in the initial boot fitting and follow up checks, and recommended a much more appropriate ski than other local shops because they took the time to understand her skiing. Likewise I've gotten my kids' seasonal rentals here every year. They refresh their rental fleet often and have carbon poles which is a refreshing surprise compared to the typical older and beat up gear found elsewhere. I cannot recommend ProSki enough! I have never owned ski boots and went in for a boot fitting without having any clue of what I was looking for. The owner spent almost 2 hours with me trying to find a boot that was "comfortable" for me. I say "comfortable" in quotes because I think my boot fitter and I initially had different ideas of what comfortable was. After repeatedly saying that my toes felt cramped, he worked with me to insert a custom footbed and moulded the plastic of the boot shell to my foot and I'm not kidding when I say I could hike in my ski boots now!! I had no idea that ski boots could be this comfortable! Everyone here is so knowledgeable and my fitter could've easily just let me size up when I complained that my boot felt too tight but he was determined to fit me in the right boot size while also making sure I felt comfortable in it. I'm so glad I went to a boot fitter and got boots from here instead of buying off the rack. read more

Suck a wonderful experience! I was looking for a pair of K2 BFC 120 ski boots and because of their popularity, my size wasn't readily available in most shops. I called up ProSki and not only did they visually run and confirm that they had my size, they explained the fitting process and the full capabilities of my new boots! They also fitted me for custom inserts and those inserts are a game changer! I can easily spend the day in my boots with no hurting in my feet or back at the end of the day! He listened to what I was after, which is different than the standard touring use case, and was able to come up with a solution that matched my needs and difficult feet. I began skiing when I was 10 and am now 68, so this isn't my first rodeo. I just purchased a full set of top-of-the-line equipment today and am extremely satisfied with the service, selection, and value. The staff took the time to explain my options and fitted my boots, they feel great straight out of the box (which is unusual for me). I was told that if I need any adjustments to let them know and they would take care of it. I'm skiing tomorrow and will add updates as needed. I'm so grateful that a shop like ProSki full of great equipment at good prices exists here in Seattle. I'm an intermediate skier who's been skiing for 20 years. I've either picked up used equipment from Play it Again Sports or more recently at the Newport HS ski swap. When the bindings pulled out of my late 1990s Dynastars that served me on multiple trips to Whistler and the Atomics I got to replace them were so unsuitable that my wife and I turned them into shot skis for our wedding reception, it was time for a trip to ProSki. I went in shortly after they opened for the season in September and talked to Mike T, who asked me bunch of questions about my abilities and comfort level (including which runs I like to ski at local mountains) and then found me a pair of last year model Line Supernatural 86s, which fit my abilities perfectly. I skied Mission Ridge a few days ago and the Lines are so comfortable and easy to ski with great turn in and excellent high speed stability. Ditto for the Technica boots that Mike found for me. They're comfortable unlike the horrid old Salomon "moon boots" I wore from the late 90s. And the best part? I spent under $1000 on skis, bindings, and boots that should last me at least 10 years. I went here with my girlfriend during the preseason and got her some great ski boots and found myself some ski bindings. I ended up buying a binding mount service to be done later as well. When I finally found the right skis, they weren't going to arrive until a day before a big trip,and I needed to swap bindings for a different break width. I love this Core Shop!! They have all your hard good needs. I had my boots fit here by Tim a few weeks back. I was so happy with how patient Tim was with me and worked to make sure my boots felt amazing!!! Good boots will take you a long way on the hill. You just can't get maximum performance without a well fit boot. This isn't a huge shop, but they can pretty much get whatever you need. They focus all all their energy on the hard goods so you won't find clothing. But that ski or boot you are looking for they will have. Also they seem to have a lot of backcountry/climbing gear. read more

Absolute Rockstars! They had a pair of skis I had been SEARCHING the ends of the earth for! One of the employees saw my plea on a Facebook group and reached out to me, how cool! She organized everything and answered all my questions before even agreeing to come and purchase the skis. I then drove an hour to their shop and they took great care of me. Mounted my bindings on my skis so I wouldn't have to make the trek again, fitted my boots with fresh inserts and didn't try to pressure me into buying anything I didn't need. Multiple friends recommended this shop to me and I really wanted to like it, so I am kind of bummed to be writing this review. I made an appointment in November to have boots fitted and also brought in my skis to be remounted with touring bindings I purchased from them. That first experience was honestly great. The man I worked with was super helpful in explaining what I needed (I am new to the sport) and I didn't feel like I was being sold things I didn't need etc. Fast forward to last week when I brought the same boots back to be punched out because they felt like medieval torture devices strapped to my feet. I wasn't sure from the language on the website whether I needed a boot fitting appointment so I quickly made one to be safe. I showed up to have the same man who previously fit my boots tell me that people like me were, "making him loose his marbles" and another man told me there was no way they had fit my boots earlier because they weren't doing that this season, or that if they did they must have made an exception for me (something I wasn't aware of at the time). I was pretty frustrated so I walked away mid-conversation unsure what to do. They called me later to apologize and offered to have me bring the boots in this week for a punch out. I doubted myself and thought maybe I had just caught them on a bad day but a friend I sent there to buy boots just had the exact same experience with them over the phone. They are obviously frustrated people are making appointments online but if this is consistently happening it's something they need to fix on their end. When they called to apologize I recommended updated language on their site to make it clear they are not doing boot adjustments this season due to COVID. I worked in customer service for over a decade and I am far from having a "the customer is always right" mentality, but it's not professional to be rude to multiple customers that were excited to come in and spend money at your shop. read more

Had an amazing experience at ProSki. From the moment I walked in, they treat you as if you are a part of the crew and are super welcoming. The entire staff said hello when I arrived. I came for some new boots and Greg was phenomenal. He quickly measured me up and started bringing out a number of options. Taylor helped me with my boot fitting last November and I decided to wait to do an evaluation here until the end of the season when I would really know how they worked out. I skied 10 days at Stevens Pass and 10 days at Whistler and the fit is dreamy-good. I don't even unclip them at lunch because they feel about like wearing bedroom slippers. Mine are K2s. I like the big loops on the fronts and backs of the liner so I can give them a tug even with gloves on. They even look great. I think the price was excellent too. I didn't do boatloads of research but I thought I would be spending about twice as much. I am thinking that they get the space for the shop at a very fair rate, and are passing along the savings to us. Works for me. Thank you Taylor and everybody. Cool shop dog too. read more
