We stopped by recently and it's still cool to see such a big location. It has multiple levels and filled to the brim with gear for hiking, running, cycling, and camping. Outside of the store, there's a little trail they've set up for you to test out bikes; not sure if they let you do that with hiking boots, too. Since it's Seattle, you can find more than a few items that feature BigFoot on them. Service is always terrific and I like the fact that they have such a generous return policy in place if you're not satisfied with your purchase (for members on eligible items. it's within 1 year of purchase, even if gently used).

The selection is huge, but it's really the people that keep me coming back. The shop team is awesome and they actually listen. If something isn't feeling right with your gear, they're super open to feedback and want to make it right. Matt, the shop manager, is the man. He's incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with. It makes a huge difference going into a season knowing your gear was handled by people who care. I also have to give a massive shoutout to Caesar, who helped me with a boot fit recently. I can't say enough good things about him. He sat there and listened to every single complaint I had about my old boots and didn't stop until we found the perfect pair. We tried on at least four different sets, and he was so patient through the whole process. What I appreciated most was how honest he was about the tradeoffs between different fits. He explained exactly what I should be looking for and how to adjust them on the fly. He moved me from a "beginner" comfort fit into a performance boot that feels worlds better on the snow. I really hope he's still there when I'm ready for my next pair, but honestly, with how good he is, he'll probably be running the company by then. Sean, the employee helping me, was extremely patient and helpful, answering all my questions (and there were many!) and even helping me compare the small differences between models.
