The office looks nice and clean. The front staff is kind upon checkin. Cons: While the office looks clean, it always smells horrible. Every appointment I've scheduled with them has been cancelled or rescheduled because the doctor "needed to go to the hospital." I get the first or maybe second time, but, three times? Maybe it was just bad luck. My first visit was great because I got to actually speak with Dr. Wertz who again, took her time and listened. However, the last visit I had with them, they said Wertz had to leave...again. A bit disappointing when I drive all the way over there, which isn't a short drive, for my already rescheduled appt, to be told she left. So I had to see a man, who I'm not comfortable with or familiar with. Over the phone, the receptionists are not helpful and come across rude, like they're trying to rush you off the phone as fast and they can, but in person they're complete opposite and really sweet when you check in.

It's always important for me to find a doctor's office that is very accommodating to my schedule and the doctor is very attentive and respectful to your concerns. A lot of the time, physicians listen to half your sentence and already diagnose the issue. But Dr Kasem hears your concerns and gives you her feedback and explains it thoroughly. And last but not least Joanne and Monica were very friendly and staff in the front was very respectful and everything is very clean throughout the facility. During the ongoing pandemic, it's important to keep all areas clean as possible and they also socially distance in the waiting room. On January 24, 2022 I went for my usual annual visit, it was the same as any other year prior and we had a good time talking. She checked my weight and heart pressure to make sure it didn't increase from previous years. I've even talked to a young Taiwanese American Dr that day and we had a great chat as well. In a month a bill came from Chaparral Med Group and informed that on top of what my insurance (Anthem Bluecross) paid, I had to pay an extra $106 because "it is my first visit" to Mary. I thought this was going to be an easy fix because after all, all the receptionist had to do was to check my file at the office (Mary knew my weight didn't increase from the last visit, so that's hard evidence that she had my previous visitation on file) and we can waive this code. Nope. I called Mary's office number first, the receptionist said it's now at billing and THERE'S NOTHING SHE CAN DO FOR ME. CALL BILLING. When I called billing, that's when the nightmare began. I'd call for days and it'd goto voice mail. Non were returned. When I finally reached someone, they REFUSED TO LISTEN, AND REFUSED TO TALK FURTHER TO ME DIRECTLY. I needed to call Anthem and ask them to call Mary's billing. So for the past 2 months, 4 different Anthem reps have been calling for me. When the 1st rep finally got a live person on the phone, they agreed to change the code and change the fee. 2 weeks later I got another bill for the same $106! I had to do the same thing over again, explain my situation to the reps again and again for the past 2 months, and they said Mary's billing agreed (for the first 3 times they called) to waive the fee. Last week, at the end of March, I got another bill for $106, this time threatening me that that this bill will go to collections if I don't pay up! I called Anthem again, it took us 2 days to reach a live person from Mary's billing number. And this time they said they have never agreed to waive this fee! I've then sent all my visitations from Health Equity's site to the Anthem rep, and we're still here, stuck at this stage. At this point, it is a matter of principle. I will fight this til the end. Mary if you're reading this, you're losing a loyal patient for the past 5 years because of your billing mistake. And you're getting a 1 star from me until you fix it. No one should ever have to go through this EVER!!

She had me do two tests (X-Ray and MRI) and told me that she would call me once she gets the results. Few days passed after she got the results and I had to call her to ask about what is going on with my knee. The first time I called it was the receptionist who delivered the doctor's order for me which was to do an MRI test. The second time I called, I had to argue with the receptionist to let me speak with Dr. Mary and all she did was to transfer me to one of the nurses who was compassionate. Idk if it was my insurance but I go to the dr on the same floor and it's definitely not near as much. Not to mentioned she rushed me out the two or three times I was there. Barely answering my questions. She told my it was eczema on my hand, I asked her if she could help me with the redness on my face, in a condescending tone she says "yep that's eczema" I asked her how she knew that with a two second look and she said "well I've been doing this for a long time, I just know." I said okay well what can we do for it? She told me to worry about it next time. Why even freakin say anything then. Next time I went she just said to keep using the steroid cream and I asked about my face and she said to use it there too. When I asked her a question she'd seem like she was in a hurry and rush out. I just got a new dermatologist because my hand is getting worse. He said the steroid cream caused a fungal issue and gave me tips and how to fix it. Thankfully I didn't use the steroid on my face much. Super disappointed. It was expensive and ended up making things worse and never got a good amount of time with her. Wouldn't recommend her.. and I thought I would just let the rushing part go and the face thing because my hand was good at first but using steroid creams too long is not good! I didn't know and I didn't know it was a steroid(my bad) but I wasn't informed :(

Dr. Ardeshana has made my transition from the Kaiser medical system complete, and with great relief. (I liked my primary doctor at Kaiser, but became frustrated with the organization's bureaucracy at getting referrals to specialists and with their customer service.) Dr. Ardeshana's Medical Center also provides great convenience for patients by offering on-site clinical services including, X-Rays, Sonograms, Blood tests, etc. I am very pleased with Dr. Ardeshana's Medical Services and office at Claremont Medical Center.

I really needed this appt today and the front desk lady Veronica was ready to CANCEL my appt, even though I told her I would be willing to pay today's copay and pay the other one in the days to follow on my payday. As I was really in need of today's appt, which I expressed multiple times! Luckily Joanna the other front desk miss saw my desperation and stepped in and made this a much easier process. I think it's important to honor policy and do your job but I was really looking for some compassion since I wasn't preprared financially for two copays. For now however the office experience was decent the ladies were friendly. As far as being efficient not so much at all, unsure of it's the office environment, lack of efficiency expectations but it's something. There is a lack of efficiency in customer service in public spheres but since we are locked in until open enrollment we will make the best of it.
