I no longer see this physician. The office is not ADA wheelchair friendly for any size of wheelchair. To get to the office you have to use a very small narrow dark elevator. It is not handicapped accessibe. I had problems with the front office staff when it came to getting orders that the doctor had recommended. I had to call more than once to get the orders completed. And the person I was dealing with was having a bad day? When I brought this up to Dr. at my next visit. She was not receptive to the conversation and so I left her practice and found another physician that has an office, staff and bedside manner that works for me. After writing a review I called back. Inquiring the month that I was there. I ask as well for the doctor to give me a call. I never met the doc due to the fact she is never there is an assistant seeing you. I preceed to ask for her name and she hung up the phn so I called again. Without saying anything she transfer me to another person. I ask for the name of the receptionist. Mention the reason why and as well she refused to give me her name. Then she said this conversation is being recorded. Wrong thing to say becase before anyone recorded anything they have to let the other person know. So at that point I said well ....this conversation is being recorded and she said I will NOT release any information to the doctor. They are absolutely a joke running that office I guess my first review didnt post so ill write it here They send me a text saying I have a bill with them. I call inquiring about it. I ask when was the first and only time I was there. She said '23 I said...exactly. I asked what month. She said mam you are being rude so I will put you on hold ( treating me a physician like a child) she return to the phn refusing to give me the information so I told her Im on my way to the office to get the info. Once I got there they didn't open the door Either the phn. Thats when I toke the pictures. They are absolutely Rude as well scamming people. I only visit that office in 2023 . My insurance paid and I have the proof. Never came back because the doctor is never there Is an assistance. And now they want to collect $ for what. How many people are they scamming for $ . I was hesitant to make my initial appointment due to reviews noted here, but decided to try anyway due to Dr. Wertz specializing in women's health. I was pleasantly surprised that the staff were welcoming, kind and efficient, at both Claremont and Upland locations. Happy with my experience so far and glad I chose to see for myself. Review is mainly for front desk staff Ashley and dr wertz. Whenever I speak to Ashley it is a rather an unpleasant experience. Today she decided to cut me off and place me on hold, completely disregarding my frustration as a patient when the office has been unclear and confused as to where my prescription is and why it wasn't ordered for a whole week. I came in person to further express my frustration, and also called out Ashley for her rudeness. Dr wertz decides to come out and tell me to calm down and have a seat. As a black woman we can NEVER express our feelings without being seen as an aggressor. I feel attacked and misunderstood. Instead of the owner of the practice being understanding , or even trying to understand the situation. I was told to calm down. Which I was already calm but of course frustrated. I've been inconvenienced all week with calling back and forth with no answer, and then I had to miss work to go to the office in person since the receptionist Ashley doesn't know how to speak to patients professionally. I just became a patient in January and that was my FIRST interaction with dr wertz! Says a lot about her character with her patients. read more

Unfortunately, I have to leave a less than favorable review. I have seen Dr. Wertz for about a year or so now and think she's a wonderful doctor. However, I recently needed to get some blood work done and a routine check up for my medication. Well I called the office explaining i needed to adjust my appointment time to which they were very accommodating. I had my appointment at 3:45 Monday. I left work early so that I could be prepared for the virtual appointment with no issues. I logged on at 3:40pm to assure that I was early and ready for my appointment. I waited and waited. At around 3:55 perhaps I would say if I sent the first message saying " hey I'm in the waiting room waiting for our appointment." I then messaged again at 4:04 saying that I have been waiting for 20 minutes and needed to get off the call. Mind you I had also informed the staff that I have been off my medications for about 5 to 6 days and could not be off of them. I received a call around 4:30 and it was the staff saying that they were checking me in for my appointment that was supposed to be at 3:45. Because I was busy I missed the call and I called the office back after business hours and left a voicemail detailing all of this. It is now almost 2 o'clock the following day, and I have not received any responses. Unfortunately, this is a major continuity of care issue at this point. I will be looking for another provider and do not recommend this office. read more

Pros : Dr. Wertz is great. She really takes her time with you, listens and actually helps you with any concern. I feel like it's so rare to find a doctor who will actually help you. The office looks nice and clean. The front staff is kind upon checkin. Cons: While the office looks clean, it always smells horrible. Every appointment I've scheduled with them has been cancelled or rescheduled because the doctor "needed to go to the hospital." I get the first or maybe second time, but, three times? Maybe it was just bad luck. My first visit was great because I got to actually speak with Dr. Wertz who again, took her time and listened. However, the last visit I had with them, they said Wertz had to leave...again. A bit disappointing when I drive all the way over there, which isn't a short drive, for my already rescheduled appt, to be told she left. So I had to see a man, who I'm not comfortable with or familiar with. Over the phone, the receptionists are not helpful and come across rude, like they're trying to rush you off the phone as fast and they can, but in person they're complete opposite and really sweet when you check in. read more

Dr. Wertz is amazing. I always feel like she is hearing me and my concerns. She's open to listening to new ideas about my health. And she always takes time with you. I never feel rushed. The front office staff is incredible and kind. I absolutely am 100% happy with this office. read more

Terrible find another office . From my first visit I had to wait an hour to be seen even though I filled out the online form. The NP Richard Tang had no patients but I waited and honestly I was ready to leave . The customer service is awful I voiced my concerns to the receptionist about the lack of communication and care she got upset and said she can't communicate with me if I'm upset . She tried to argue with me about my experience with the NP and the office in general . RT didn't know what I had on my face so he prescribed me 2 different medications. He was just giving it to me without a diagnosis. What kind of crap is that . They don't email you as they say they will. i have been super patient but they have a job to do they aren't doing it . I had to call pharmacy and play phone tag about my meds . I have to bug them to get my prescriptions and referrals emailed to me they say they will send ir never do . The way the office is being ran wow ! I won't go back I dont recommend this place to nobody. I'm a laid back person patient and kind but this place has you doing their work . The care was poor after being told my results I asked for ed tips he just read my results no advice or anything . I had to ask for help and how to receive proper care for my health . I say run from this place . I've waited 4 days for a referral from Friday that I was told would be emailed. Unorganized, no communication, no customer service whatsoever. No patient care here 0 !! They give referrals two weeks later then never send it to you . I'm going to get a new primary. read more

I started going to Dr. wertz at the beginning of 2024 and have had a great experience with her. As a new patient, i was really impressed at my first appt because Dr. Wertz really took the time to go over my medical history and concerns. Since then i have been able to complete labs, receive prescriptions, and get orders/referrals for other health concerns. Her staff provide you with the orders and next steps before you leave the appt. I also once met with her NP and he was very helpful. I have referred my co-workers and even my family members to DR. wertz due to the quality of her care. read more

I do not recommend this doctors office. If you are someone who needs to see the doctor frequently it will be hard to even get an appointment. The front desk staff communication isn't clear. I'm always the one following up on test results, referrals and etc. they say they will contact me and never do...I had high hopes for this office and gave them lots of time to change and work through the busy days. I ended up feeling like another chicken in the chicken factory. I hope to see this office improve their ways in the future. read more

She is the only doctor Ive had that sits and listens to my concerns and addresses them. I appreciate that she sits and talks with me instead of just rushing me out of the office. I changed insurances and decided to have my PCP as Dr. Wertz. My first 3 appointments were cancelled at the last minute for some unknown reason. When I finally had my appointment I was super pleased on how thorough she was. In addition, her communication and bedside manner were even better. My main issues are with the last minute cancellations and rude office attendants. They seem nice until you have questions. I changed my PCP and am very happy with Dr. Anderson Terrell in Chino. read more

I was referred to Brittany after my previous primary switched practices, and it couldn't have been a better match. Being able to talk to a doctor who hears your concerns and, takes them SERIOUSLY? This review is about the staffs. I just switched to Dr. Wertz and had an appointment on 6/17/2024. She referred me to get a routine colonoscopy and was supposed to send an ointment to the pharmacy. I called on 6/19, Blanca said "give me a minute and I'll email you the referral, and I'll contact the pharmacy." I contacted them on 6/26, spoke to Ashley, was put on hold, got disconnected. Tried to call again, they said hold please, got disconnected again. I called again, spoke to another person and I explained what Ashley was supposed to be helping me about. The person said, "Ashely is on another call, but she promise to send you the referral by the end of the day". Until now, I have not received my referral or ointment. Thank God, it's not a medication or referral I need immediately or I would be dead. I hope Dr. Wertz will read this review so she's aware of the poor quality her staffs provides. I will be switching to another doctor due to lack of care by the staffs at this office. I will also let my insurance know the terrible service the staffs provides in this office. read more
