Dr Wohlert is the sweetest doctor ever. She delivered my son back in 2009. It was 4am when I went into labor and she met me in the delivery room at 6am only to deliver my son at 7am on the dot! She said she rushed over to be with me! That made me feel so good and calm knowing she was going to be by my side the whole way! She delivered my son without any problems, and has been my son's doctor till he was 5years old. Since then we moved seats but I will never forget Dr Wohlert and her smile when ever I had a sick child. She has always had a special place in our hearts! read more

I've been seeing Dr Wohlert for probably close to 10 years. She's all 3 of my kids pediatricians and ahe would have been my OB and relievers my kids but I unfortunately became high risk and had to switch to a doctor that could handle high risk patients. She's awesome, spends time with you to make sure she has all the information of why you came in and diagnosis and prescribes what's necessary to get better. She makes sure she has all the up to date info on my kids and is comforting during there check ups making sure I know I'm doing a good job with their raising them and their health. She makes you feel like family and you can tell she cares about you as a patient and your kids and their health. read more

One word for the ladies at the front desk - INCOMPETENT. Dr Wolhert is great but the girls at the front always mess things up. Have had many issues with them messing up appointments, insurance, referrals, etc... Time to find a new Dr with the staff that knows what they are doing. read more

As a new patient waiting for my first appointment, I walked out because of the negative experience I had with her staff. Therefore, I never saw Dr. Wohlert, but the staff is an extension of the Dr. and have the ability to greatly affect the patient's overall experience. This is an important consideration when choosing one. Here's why things went south. For starters, it is very difficult to get a staffer on the phone for an appointment. My calls were never returned when I left a message to get one. Finally when I did, I waited for 3 weeks to see her and requested time off to go, so you can imagine the disappointment as a result. When I went to my appointment, I was informed that my information was imputed wrong--everything from my name down to the reason why I was there. This was mind-boggling to me, but I had to reminded myself that she was highly recommended, so I didn't walk out then. As I waited in the room, I can hear her staff constantly giggling and goofing off outside in the hallway while I waited and waited. Then, someone on her staff came into the room, took out a piece of scrap paper, and scribbled down the reasons to why I was there. Very unprofessional. Lastly, I waited 35 minutes past my appointment and couldn't justify staying any longer. When I asked her staff member if I could receive my copay back, she replied, "seriously?" All in all, the unprofessionalism of Dr. Wohlert's staff is what ruined it for me, and it's unfortunate since she came highly recommended, but I don't think anyone should be willing to tolerate unprofessionalism everytime he or she has an appointment in order to get to the professional. read more

One of a kind physician. She is so down to earth and professional with every patient. She is the kind of person that will hug you as part of her greeting. Dr. Wohlert takes her time with every patient. She has seen all of kids as well as myself. She ensures that the patient or parent (if patient is a minor) is well informed during the visit. Even now that I live a few cities away, I still manage to attend to her office. I've tried out other doctors for both myself and my kids, but so far I haven't came across one that is close to being like Dr. Wohlert. read more

She's a nice family Dr. However don't make her your OBGYN if you're pregnant or have/had a complicated pregnancy(s), she does not see complicated pregnancies or patients with a history of complicated pregnancies.Apparently she's not skilled for these type of pregnancies (had I been told this from the beginning I would have switched OBGYN immediately) I didn't know until I went in for my eight month check up, I had high blood pressure (turned out being preeclampsia) and was sent straight to Pomona Valley Hospital into another OBGYN's hands, who was only there to tell me his name, leave, then come back after my baby popped out of me & straight onto the bed, no nurse no staff just my sister and my mother yelling for the nurse, luckily he was healthy & just fine (Pomona Valley Hospital sucks but that's another review) Nice Dr just not fit for all pregnant women. read more

Dr. Wholert is an amazing doctor. I started seeing her in 2015 and have had nothing but positive experiences. Staff is friendly and wait times vary, as they do with ALL doctors offices. I schedule my appointments in advance and cancel them if i'm not able to make it in , so that maybe someone else can get my appointment time. I've never waited more than 30 minutes. I had an appointment today and arrived 30 minutes early and i ended up leaving the office before my scheduled appointment time. As far as issues with my insurance, the ladies in the front office checked that for me before i went in for my appointment, but i made sure to provide them with my insurance information( id number and what medical group i have) because as patients it is OUR RESPONSIBILITY to know our insurance benefits... why would you pay for something if you don't know what is included and or covered????????????? read more

I know people has been having good experience with her, but so far I'm not as impressed as I wanted to be. I chose to see dr. Wohlert because of the location, and I prefer a female OBGYN. I was 5 weeks into my pregnancy and just wanted to get a prenatal care started, hopefully finding the OB for me. My first appointment with my primary care Dr. Khalighi was great. I wasn't seen by a PA, but by nurses, and then the Dr herself. She was passionate about the pregnancy, and was quick to give me some good starter info that I should look into. I then tried to book an appointment with Dr. Wohlert, this is when I starts to have some problems. The first appointment went okay, we arrived on time, only had to wait for 30-40 minutes to be taken in. Granted I missed my appointment the day before, and they were gracious enough to squeeze me in the next day, but I had a full bladder for the urine test, I'd much prefer to be seen as soon as possible. After we were guided into the back room, we waited another 20-30 min to see the doctor herself. The meeting itself was okay, we had a nice conversation, and she was very nice. Up to this point, everything was okay, and I booked my next appointment a month later. Before our appointment ended, she said call me anytime if you have questions. I thanked her for that, and kept her contact info close by. Two weeks after the first OB visit, I started having spotting issues. I observed for a few days, and then called the OB's office hoping to speak to her, it may not be a big issue, but speaking with the OB herself is comforting to me. I wasn't able to speak to her even though she was in the office. I understand she is popular and have tons of patients, so a nurse spoke to me and told me to go to ER if situation worsen. The nurse told me to talk to the receptionist to see if I can schedule one within the next few days just to be safe. I couldn't, because the earliest appointment available would be later than the appointment I had already scheduled. Before the spotting, I had urine test, ultrasound, and blood drawn. Blood drawn was ordered by Dr. Wohlert herself, so the reports would go to her, but I never received any call or results about the blood work. A week later, I had heavy bleeding that I had to be rushed to the ER(Pomona valley, do NOT go there for ER). After 7 hours of waiting I was told I have threatened miscarriage. They want me.to contact my OB in the morning, and schedule an appointment as soon as possible. I was ordered bed rest until I see her, so my husband called the office on my behalf. We then learned that she was out of town, so I spoke to another doctor that's seeing her patients for the time being. I would've prefer to know this BEFOREHAND, not when I really needed to speak to her. I then asked when is the earliest I can get an appointment, not surprisingly, it was two weeks from the day I called. The people at the Pomona Valley medical center at Chino Hills are all very nice, including the doctor herself. But I don't think I'll be going back after my next ultrasound. I think she's just way too popular/busy for me. I may be asking too much, but as a first time pregger, I really would appreciate a little bit more attention. Plus their scheduling is just too difficult. Even the imaging center for ultrasound. I needed an emergency follow up ultrasound after the ER visit, and the earliest date they have is a whole month later. On a side note, Pomona Valley Medical Center is not very transparent with their bills. I looked into my insurance claims, one ultrasound was billed close to 2200 usd. I did have an pelvic ultrasound on top of the general ones, but even after all the insurance I may still owe -500 usd for one single ultrasound. I don't even want to see what my ER bill is going to be like. read more

She made my pregnancy experience pretty amazing, given I was very healthy and no risk at all. I wanted to choose a doctor that that wasn't exactly an OBGYN or midwife, she was an in between doctor that I could trust not to resort to c-section. Of course all women are different but my experience with her was the best as a first time mom, I was always comfortable and well informed. She was at my delivery and she was so incredibly experienced and professional, that my recovery was absolutely painless and easy. read more

I had a physical with her awhile ago, but as I reflect on the experience, it was negative. She was judgmental about my age & sexuality. I was older, trying to have a baby, and when I hadn't been successful, her answer was, "Well, I had a baby in my 40s!" as if our anatomies were alike. When my blood work results arrived in the mail, the letter in all caps, as if yelling, exclaimed that my AIC was too high, I was in danger of becoming diabetic & I needed to change my diet. What was I supposed to do with that info? No diet, no advice, no nothing. Thankfully, I figured out the GI Food Index by myself & my AIC went back to normal. Not a nice doctor. One visit was enough--I changed my insurance to the more expensive one to see my old doctor who graciously laid out strategies to get pregnant after 40--and I did, no thanks to Wohlert's terrible bedside manner. read more

My husband took the day of to watch the kids so I could go, when I got there the very rude front desk girl said the doctor was doctor not available anymore. Lied about calling and leaving a voicemail and the office manager said he "was to busy" to speak to me. Very bad customer service. Do not trust this place! read more

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Wohlert for the past few years. We have all had medical issues with some of them being pronounced. She has been a G-d send exceptionally attentive and thorough. We will always try and be her patients. She is friendly and always seems to be on top of her game. She answers all your questions as long as it takes. She speaks in understandable laymen terms. after going there for over 12 years, i finally told myself It IS ENOUGH. The girls in the front are very rude. My family has been the patients for over 12 years. Not one time we, three of us, would be seen within 30 minutes. Our wait has always been 30 to 1 hour and 30 minutes!!. This past Monday, my daughter had an appointment for physical, we were running late, because some friends showed up surprisingly and I had to run to the restroom twice. We called them before our appointment time from car, they told us they had strict 10 minutes grace period. We finally got there 12 minutes pass out appointment time. we were told we had to reschedule the appointment. My daughter needed a physical for college by the end of November and she was home for Thanksgiving. There would be very hard to get appointment this late. I booked this one in October. and she needed a TB skin test that required her to get back to the doctor for reading. all doctors office would be closed on Thursday and Friday. They would not listen to whatever I had to say. the best thing came out of this disappointing experience is that we found a doctor near our city. They are so much better and helpful than this office. my daughter was seen within 2 minutes of her appointment time. they told her where to get her skin test read and plan out every step for her to get the report before she goes back to school. We all feet relieved that we did not have to go back to this office and wait average 46 minutes for our appointments. read more
