Soooo......this is going to be a long story, be prepared! I recently had the WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever encountered at "Props Steak & Seafood " in Warner Robins. So this year, I decided to have my birthday dinner somewhere different.......I thought and pondered and searched for what I thought would be an exciting new food experience! I had heard the FOOD was good at "Props", so decided to take a chance and eat there. I invited several of my family and friends, some of which traveled OVER 2 and a half hours to get there!! I had emailed the reservations manager on Monday to secure a reservation for that Friday night. We emailed back and forth throughout the week. She stated that they didn't do reservations on Friday and Saturday, but said that she would put my name & party down on some "list". I was to call 30 minutes ahead of our arrival/"reservation " time (which was at 7:30). I did just that! When we arrived I went straight to the hostess station and stated who I was, and she said she knew, and that it would be 30 to 45 minutes because there were customers at "Our table" and they were already eating, and when they finished, she would have the table cleaned off and ready for us. I said, no problem, as most of my guests were running behind anyway. Well to sum up what would be the longest wait time I had EVER EXPERIENCED, having arrived at 7:00, we didn't get seated until 9:48! YESSS.....12 minutes shy of a 3 HOUR wait! Once they took us BACK to our table, I noticed something strange. We were placed in the back room of the restaurant, where there were only BLACK patrons seated!! I noticed immediately, and thought to myself maybe I was tripping.......So I personally go back to the front of the restaurant and did an extensive scan. THERE WERE NO BLACK PATRONS SEATED IN THE FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT! I took pics.......... Still trying to salvage what was left of my Birthday, we sat down. The owner eventually came over, after knowing that I was upset, and asked if we would like to have some SHOTS on the house, since it was my bday. Ok, y'all that know me, know that I'm not a drinker, so giving me a free shot of anything did nothing to improve my mood. My other guests took him up on his offer. He returns to the table with 13 shots. They do a toast to me, and they down the shots. When asked what it was, the owner replied "MOONSHINE"!!!!! Soooo......you don't offer your disgruntled customers Top Shelf liquor, you give the angry black "mob" MOONSHINE !! I laughed, because I couldn't believe it !!!! We had a party of 12 , and 1 WAITER !!!!!!! We should of at the very least had 2! So obviously the service was poor ! Needless to say,we didn't leave the restaurant until 11:48. So we spent a total of about 5 HOURS at the restaurant, and 4 of my guests didn't even get to eat!! The food was substandard..........we barely were able to cut cake, etc. THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE OF "PROPS", I feel that good customer service is IMPORTANT in a service based industry! We did not receive good customer service, the staff was confused and disheveled, the owners were clueless and unapologetic, and offered to buy us off with a round of shots! We were seated right away so no wait time like some of the reviews. Our waitress, Lillie, was awesome! Food however was confusing. The ceviche was meh and the chips that came with it were hit or miss between stale or greasy so it didn't help the ceviche. Then the Ahi Tuna Wontons wasn't that at all. It was some tuna next to a wonton covered in a slaw. So we broke up the wonton and ate it with the tuna. That made it work but tuna alone as it was plated was again...meh. Our entrees were good. Herb crusted salmon was a hit. The steamed mussels were really good too but did not come with toast or anything which would a nice addition for the broth. Oh, and the raw oysters were really good. Overall, we weren't very impressed...too much hit or miss with the food. Service was great though. read more

A seafood/steakhouse restaurant that opened November 1, 2018. We waited six weeks giving them time to work out any kinks. We found the ambience to be quite nice. The service was good but we were slightly disappointed in the food. We received complementary bread which was nothing more than store brand frozen squares. I did enjoy the variety of foods they had on their menu but felt that they were overpriced. For appetizers we ordered baked blue cheese oysters and the calamari. Both were by far the best part of our meal. The New York strip and steamed mussels were average. Our tab was $70 without tip and we had non-alcoholic beverages. We were in town for a family event. All I wanted was a decent meal that was not chain or a burger. We arrived to be told the night was reservations only which was fine. We sat at the bar and the restaurant has great ambiance. It took the bartender who by the way did not introduce himself, over 10 minutes to greet us at a half full bar. when he finally did great us it took another 6 minutes to get drinks. I have received better personality from a wet mop. No greeting no welcome no how are you. AWEFUL BARTENDER! We finally received drinks and the other bartender "Megan " came by and thank goodness she did. If it were not for her we likely would not have had the positive experience that was salvaged. Truly a great bartender and employee.. KEEPER ----HOWEVER, we ordered and my meal is apparently not on menu any longer so I had to reorder. we felt rushed through the app because salads came our really quick. Once salads arrived we got about half through and my daughter nearly broker her tooth on what we later found out was a shelf clip (rusty). The bartender was very apologetic however owner came over and made excuses. Not OK. There are no excuses for food safety. The salad that was under the shelf when it broke and any other food for that matter should have been trashed. Her measure of customer service was to buy a desert!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I have traveled all over the country and internationally and never had such a careless and un-realistic response. I will say that my lobster tails were cooked to perfection but the Mac n chs was absent cheese. and my daughter who ordered surf n turf her steak was cold and over cooked. EXTREMELY disappointing! We only come into this area 2x a year and I was so excited to hopefully find a restaurant with good food I guess I need to keep looking. They do not have their act together at all. Saturday night with a skeleton crew to start rush hour. Apparently there are supposed to be dinner rolls, which never came. The salads never came. The service was terrible. The manager is apathetic. Had to beg for a single refill on water. The steak was barely warm. The fries were old and over fried. The order for one of us was completely wrong. I would never recommend this place to anyone in its current state. Go to Waffle House. You're money will be better spent and the food will taste better too. The manager continued to make excuses and actually insulted us when we made a critique of their opening week performance. This is just what Warner Robins needed a steak and Seafood restaurant that has a great waitstaff and most importantly some really good cooks in the kitchen that really knows how to bring out the taste and flavor of all their meats. I was recommend the rib-eye steak that has hands-down the best cuts and flavor than most steak houses. Another botched to go order. Will be my last. Didn't give me some of the sides order. When I called lady named Cathy said they were not responsive for orders that had left the premises. She was very rude Only after I persisted did she say I could come get my Missing sides. The food tasted like frozen food straight out of a box. Way too salty. Substandard. Well to start off we were here for a holiday party. We come here every year for the last 3 years and have about 11 people. The food is USUALLY great and I should've done a yelp review in the past to offset our recent experience. But you know what they say.... Anyway I got what I always get which is the grilled seafood platter. Every time I have gotten this it has been cooked to perfection. Except this time.... The asparagus was flimsy and almost slimy because it was over cooked. The scallops were over cooked, chewy and had little crunchy pieces of "shell" in them. The salmon was DRY as heck. I love salmon but it has to be cooked properly. The potatoes didnt have much flavor at all, but the sauce that the salmon was pooled in actually helped the flavor of the potatoes. Needless to say I didnt eat much. One of my coworkers order garlic crab claws. These were very salty. Another ordered Rockefeller Oysters, these were decent. The texture was a little off at times. Some where soft and succulent, others were squashy and slimy. Another co worker ordered Calamari. This was just ok, didnt have a lot of flavor. My favorite part was the pieces of jalapeño and peppers that were fried with the calamari. Needless to say, I will not be going back anytime soon. I hope my next experience at this restaurant is better. Our waitress was mediocre, I know it can be difficult taking care of a big table. I usually love to go here. I had my husband pick me up two sides from there when I got off of work. They gave me a scoop of sweet potatoes without pecans and old burnt Mac and cheese. This is the only two things I ordered and was charged $21.11. They charged $6 for the small containers the sides came in. I see that they are declining in service and food quality. The food was really good, but the service is what I simply can't find anywhere else. We went there for a Sunday lunch after church, as well as a Friday night dinner. Both times we had Shelby, a young sweet waitress. She was funny, caring, and on top of things for us. We had a great overall time and enjoyed the food. Definitely give it a try! read more

A great steak/seafood restaurant near home? Are you kidding me? My family got steaks and they looked like real, quality cuts of meat, unlike what a lot of places around here offer. Decided to give it a try this evening. My husband ordered the skirt steak special and I had a burger. I can't remember the name but it had jalapeños, onions, Gouda cheese and a poblano pepper on it. My husband said his steak was very good. My burger was perfect. The bun was great, meat cooked just right with lots of flavor. We both have leftovers for tomorrow. Exquisite! We arrived at 5:15 on a Friday thinking no one would be dining that early. (Staying a night on drive from Florida to Michigan.) but it was packed, 90-minute wait. We sidled up to the crowded bar where we had drinks and a great conversation with two diners, the father and son of the oyster shucker, Law. Eventually found two seats and had a great meal: oysters Rockefeller, center cut filet and shrimp and grits -- the best of my life. Shrimp were blackened, atop a fried grits cake, with spicy/sweet red eye gravy. Wow! Not cheap, but we got all that plus 2 drinks each for under $100. At the bar we enjoyed conversations about the town, its past and its future, with a clientele representing America. We will return. read more

Byron the bartender is the shit hands down the best time we have had in a while at a local restaurant. The dry aged ribeye I ordered was cooked to perfection. The wife ordered the angel hair pasta with grilled chicken although the garlic was a little heavy she enjoyed it. Just stay away! The drinks are awful, ordered the sangria and tasted almost spoiled, man of war was literally a shot of bourbon with an ice sphere. What the hell was that????! Whatever bbq sauce they had tasted like something you would find on top of meatloaf, very ketchup-y. How are you going to tell us, the paying customer that it was moist and juicy? In what universe???? They were literally the WORST WE'VE EVER HAD. I'm a chef, my husband is a chef and so is majority of our families who run and own their own restaurants. I'd like to think we're pretty good judges of good food...the ribs were dry, overcooked and just not well made. Sadly I come yesterday to get my favorite Angel pasta and that was tasteless no flavor at all .Payed for Mineral water got Spring water ( huge different ) I share my experience with seems confuse server .. Absolutely terrible customer service. We had a valentines reservation. No one told us "you have to be here within 10 minutes of your reservation" or we cancel your reservation. We have a sick kid at home so we were doing good to make it out of the house. We arrive at 6:11 (our reservation is for 6) and we were rudely told we would not be seating. After explaining they gave us a buzzer and told us it would just be a few minutes. After 30 minutes my husband went and asked and they were once again rude, telling him they had a kid at home to but that's not reason to be late because it's "proper etiquette". Even after explaining this was not a normal situation and no one told us of the time limit. Honestly I'm disgusted at the customer service of two parents just trying to get out of the house. My husband and I had a fantastic experience. We went on a Friday evening around 5:30. It took about 20-25mins to get a seat. My only complaint would be the table was small for our liking and we wanted to sit beside each other rather than across from each other. There wasn't enough room where we were sitting to sit beside each other. The atmosphere was nice, server and staff were very friendly and the food!! Oh the food!! It was delicious. I got the salmon with asparagus and Brussels. Delicious! The I got the praline pie for dessert! Absolutely amazing!! Danny was our server.
