They claim to have mailed me a letter and emailed me, but I have no record of either. Before dumping me someone, anyone, could have picked up the phone to call me. But CrestCore now treats it's clients like a number, not a person. The old owners knew my name and had my cell phone. But the new regime can't even call me before they drop me. This situation left me scrambling to take care of my tenants. Now, they have my rent revenue that they've collected (Over $4,700) and they will not respond to any calls or emails.

We complained about wasps getting into our apartment through the chimney. When they saw that we had notified a local TV news reporter to do a story about the issue, they finally sent someone out. But, they sent out a temp worker that sprayed our walls and my service dog with wasp spray. When we complained about it they got ugly. When our lease was up, they no longer would take our rent checks. They told us we had to contact their lawyer. But, he refused to return calls. Then after about 10 days they served us with an eviction notice. I am disabled, but I guess they didn't care. No lawyer wants to go up against them. We had to file bankruptcy to keep them from evicting us. But, then we got kicked out due to poor representation. The woman that inspected our apartment stated that a small chip in the tile in front of the fireplace was due to us. It was there before. You could obviously tell it was old. But they picked everything apart. With Sunshine not taking a deposit, they go nuts with sueing. Plus, they threw in the months we had to live there during Christmas that was cold. We ended up homeless for 2 months as they ruined our reputation with having no reference. The other times we lived there we moved out with no bills or sueing. It was all due to retaliation having embarrassed them on the news.
