****BEWARE**** I absolutely echo the other poor reviews on here about this dreadful Prop Mgt firm. The most unprofessional people I've ever had the mis-pleasure of dealing with. Ed (Harpe) should have long retired but appears to want to continue working as a crook and a property manager that doesn't know what the job entails. He shook hands on a deal with me in front of my son, then walked it back two days later after I'd already handed in my 30-day notice at my apartment based on our handshake... When I asked him "so your handshake means nothing??" he said "yup, pretty much". Absolutely disgraceful. Just beware that's who you're getting if you're doing business with Ed Harpe. Communication from him during the entire process was very poor at best, non-existent at worst. I sent over a final offer of rent $-amount. Apparently the owner accepted, but Ed didn't bother to tell me anything about it. I only found out when he took my call chasing up as I hadn't heard anything, he sounded surprised to hear from me and then had to be reminded why I was calling... If you want a property manager who freely admits his word means nothing, makes all sorts of decisions on owners behalf because he doesn't want to look bad in front of his clients and doesn't know how to use email or a telephone, go with Ed Harpe at PMR. Your wallet won't be thanking you for it. Judging by the other, similar piss-poor reviews on here, I am not in a minority. Do yourself a favor and steer clear. read more
