Since forever I like to do craft and with places like Lowe's it's taken to the next level that I couldn't imagine like my Dremel...as I used to go to my secret spot to find shells I do use them for various project that requires for me to drill holes into them and some craft places do have drills but it's for basic simple items not the hard and sometimes thick shells we have here in Hawai'i. They do have an app that really helps me to find what I'm looking for without driving to multiple locations or asking customer service to check for me is the convenience that's more than amazing. On this visit they did have an item that I've been searching for quite awhile that only they have and had it in stock...thankfully and if it's that important I'd recommend that you do purchase them online for a store pick up which is completely free and does secure the items as well. This Waikele Shopping location is nice as they lots and lots of free parking which is just steps away from their doors though is massive but the staff is very helpful and friendly that has me getting on my way just as fast as I ordered it. I decided to run in before work and look for a particular potting soil that their app showed they had an abundance of. I can't find it. I look in the area the app said it would be in, it's not there. I even look outside because let's face it, you don't need brains to work here so maybe they moved it.. not there. I muster up the patience to ask the Worker STOCKING THE SOIL, if he's seen it. He looks at the pic, looks at the wall and says "hmm.. it's suppose to be here, but it's not. Then carries on stocking" Poop for brains.. truly. Ordered it on Amazon. What a waste of a huge, beautiful space.. instead it's just a workplace for the incompetent.

Like any hardware store, you'll probably find whatever you need here for home improvement, and I even saw that they carried some pet supply items, too! They should fill to 4.5 gallons and no less if you have a 5 gallon tank. If they fill to only 4 gallons and tell you its because your tank is old, dont believe it. I found out from Airgas Kapōlei (808) 692-0432 that when your tank is empty it weighs 20 pounds and when its full it weighs 38 pounds or close to 4.5 gallons. 17 pounds of propane is added to your empty tank. Aloha LP Gas charges $20.00 to fill a 5 gallon which cant be beat so far on the West Side.

Tell me why an associate, literally, I mean literally just looks at me and walks right past me with a "im tired pls dont ask me for help" face. I had already found what I was looking for right before she got to me, but seriously did not ask not one peep if I needed help. I let it go, clearly she didnt want to be there. Now lets go to the line for the registers. We were standing in line and honestly didnt even know there were 3 lines open. Tell me WHY, there was a customer at the "employee in training" register, while one was away talking to the guys standing at the door and one literally was just looking at us. Now I didnt know she was an open register till we got to the employee in training's register and was baffled that the other cashier literally looked at me and didnt even offer for us to go to her line when she clearly wasnt doing anything at all, but instead just stood there letting everyone go to the training cashier. the customer behind us even asked if she was open bc all she was doing was looking at us all. Like come on people, your job isnt hard, its not hard to call the next customer so u could help them. Sign ups open the 1st Saturday of the month for the next month and are usually full within a couple days. What you get: a free kid sized Home Depot apron (just like the workers wear!), a wooden toy to put together, instructions, a commemorative pin, and a little certificate of completion. They have paint and hammers out to paint and put together the craft. We've been coming for over a year and we absolutely love it! We especially love when they have vehicles like planes, construction vehicles, and emergency vehicles! We also love functional toys like piggy banks and trinket holders! They are pretty well made and last a while. Go to the Home Depot website and click or search for Kids Workshops to see what crafts are available for the next couple of months!
