Fast, convenient, and reliable. My go-to location for propane. Horrible roads getting there, but it's worth it.

Simple and easy! Get your propane tanks filled and/or certified on the spot. I'm usually in and out in 5 minutes. They take cash or card.

Convenient. Very pleasant guy. Cost includes his help. A few more dollars than going to Home Depot.

Hey, how come there's no review of this 76 gas station in McCully???…read more Shoots den', I go kokua & drop a review on Yelp to help this business out! Lol! Located just next door from the McDonald's in the McCully neighborhood, you can find this little gas station that not only serves gas, but they also sell propane. Over the years I have patronized this gas station as they used to sell "racing gas", and now I see that they sell "ethanol free" gasoline. Basically this gas station just does fuel, and they have a small area where they sell a few convenience items by the cashier's booth. No car repairs, or safety checks done at this location, but not to worry gang, as the McCully Union Service also has another service site on Beretania Street where they actually do car repairs & safety checks. Of course at the Beretania location where they do car repairs, they don't dispense any gasoline, that's what the McCully location is for on S. King Street (just next door to the McCully McDonald's).

They also sell some items inside by the cashier. What am I doing at a gas station you may ask? Well it was because I ran over a nail and my tire was leaking air. Fortunately it wasn't the sidewall. I called first to see if they worked on Tesla vehicles because you need special pucks to lift the vehicle. They didn't have the pucks but luckily I have a set. I brought them with me in the event they could fix my tire. When I arrived, I told them they needed the pucks to lift the car to not damage the battery and vehicle. The mechanic just looked at the location of the screw and said he could do it without lifting the vehicle. I was so confused because you have to lift the vehicle to take off the rim. Turns out he was able to quickly do it on the ground. They don't patch the tire but plug it here so it all made sense when I saw what they did. The entire process was completed in minutes! They were quick and I was out of there in no time. Personally, a patch or plug doesn't matter too much because it fixes the problem of air leaking out of the tire but patching does take time. It takes at about an hour at shops that offer patching because the rim comes off the vehicle and the tire is removed from the rim (could be longer than an hour if they are busy). I'm not sure which is better long term though as I'm not a tire expert. Since I had my tire patched not too long ago, I found plugging was a tad more pricey. Is it worth it? I think so due to the time it took to do it and the fact they didn't have to take off the rim nor jack up the vehicle. No risk in damaging the rim, vehicle or battery. Good option for a quick plug if you encounter a nail/screw in your tire!

Shout out to Kayli for all her help last night…read more So the other day I was cooking dinner for my dad & when I went into his refrigerator, I noticed it didn't seem that cold? But when I checked the freezer, it appeared that it was working properly. I asked my dad if the fridge was okay? And he in turned told me that it was, so I really didn't think anything more of it. Several days later, after shopping for some food for my dad, when I was putting some produce items into his fridge, I again asked him if the refrigerator was okay, then he finally told me "maybe something was wrong". I rechecked the settings on the refrigerator, rechecked the vents from the freezer, seals on the door, and everything appeared to be okay. Being that my dad's refrigerator was 11 years old (I remembered buying it in 2014), I guess it was time for a replacement. Luckily for me, November has rolled around and since a lot of folks will be feasting towards the end of November, "Black Friday" sales have started & Home Depot has their big "Black Friday" sales event for the entire month of November. At first I went to Best Buy, because I purchased the refrigerator & stove from there back in 2014, but upon arriving there, I couldn't get any help so I left the store & headed across the street to Home Depot. Upon lookin' at the fridges, I found a fridge that would fit in my dad's kitchen space & looked for a clerk to help me. Luckily I came across Kayli, and she was so helpful in processing my transaction. Timing was just right for me, as the delivery of the refrigerator was FREE due to the Black Friday sales, and I only had to pay $50 bucks for the removal of the old refrigerator. The refrigerator I purchased was in stock, so Saturday they will deliver it to our house. How's that for great service???!!! Much MAHALO Home Depot, and Kayli! You really helped us out of jam, as I realky needed a running refrigerator, especially since Thanksgiving is just around the corner!

Now in this day and age, you would think much of the communication can be done via email or at the very least telephone. Well, not in this case. Here is my short story. 1. I emailed Customer Service with my termination request. Response back was I should call them as they need additional information. I call them back and WAIT on the line for 40 minutes before I disgustingly hung up. 2. I go to the physical Hawaii Gas office. What a shame! a. only ONE customer service window that services payments and all open matters. b. Parking is one big ZERO (fortunately, they are located in close walking proximity to my office which is what I ended up doing) c. If you're not first in line FORGET IT (I waited for 10 minutes and my turn was no where in sight) I left with the idea to be the first in line on my next try by going first thing at their opening 3. After all of this I am still in a holding pattern waiting a PHONE CALL from a technician or installer to schedule a time to get to the service residence BOTTOM LINE- If you really need to use gas get those table propane burner stove tops or get electric (after you install your solar panels of course) Imagine, I'm still waiting to close this account and get the cylinders removed and it's been 37 days since I've started this task. The charges will continue until such time the cylinders are removed. Go figure! One star for the CSR who helped me. I felt bad as I'm sure she gets a bunch of junk from customers having to deal with procedure and protocol of Hawaii Gas... She was polite and helpful. The rest of the issues are out of her control. #nevergas #electricrules #propane

They have a good selection of items for your hardware needs whether it be paint, tools, bathroom or kitchen fixtures, etc. They have a decent amount of parking, but it can get challenging at times. In the past, I've been able to find a number of items, simply because the aisles are well labeled with signage. Shelves are stocked neatly. And if I can't find something, I normally encounter a friendly customer service specialist, eager to help me :) I especially appreciate the native Hawaiian plants that are available for sale in the garden section. It is so important that we are not planting invasive things that are detrimental to our unique island. Plant pono! Thank you City Mill for having such a convenient location, with lots of free parking, and an incredible team of employees that have always been helpful to me! Super thankful you're in my neighborhood :)
