First time pre ordering through grub hub... chose this cafe, left specific instructions, potatoes well done, they are burnt, ordered 2 black coffee, only sent 1 and it had milk or creamer in it. Yes, Pronto is sending the missing coffee however, I am a coffee drinker, I need my coffee now. I am rating Prontos based on their "OATMEAL". I've tried Famous and Annabella's and nothing compares to this oatmeal. It's nice and creamy and has great flavor to it and the best part it tastes homemade. A small costs $1.95 and a large costs $2.95. Definitely a must try. They knew what they were doing when they called this place Pronto Cafe. I was able to order, get my food, and pay within 7 minutes. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap, which was okay. It tasted like any quickie chicken caesar wrap with lettuce, an oil-based dressing, chicken, and store-bought crispy croutons. They are generous with their chicken and heat it on the grill, which adds a nice touch. They also have a lot of variety from pizza to salads to sandwiches. I would come here again to grab a quick meal, but I would probably try a different order. read more

I have placed many breakfast and lunch orders, including office meals since 12/18. it seems the guy taking orders doesn't care at all about the customers. I speak very clearly and constantly remind him of the specifications to my order and he seems to not write down what you tell him and always tends to get the order completely wrong. I at times have requested for the ladies to take my order as they pay attention. The last order I placed was a breakfast order: 2 eggs over medium, burned (i specified this detail) corn beef hash, told him I would wait 20 more minutes if necessary, rye toast with butter no potatoes. Believe me when I tell you, I repeated it at least 3 times, and sad to say he repeated it back to me correct. It seems he put the order completely wrong, over easy eggs and none of my specifications. I received eggs with raw egg white, pale corn beef hash, untoasted toast. I called in to let them know, the guy answered and decided not to care when i spoke to him and brushed me off to one of the ladies. She dealt with it professionally and said I would get my order the next day "comped",. Since she was familiar with my orders she understood my frustration. Next day, its a different story, the owner says 25% off...I have thrown out my breakfast before and i have also come to the shop with it in hand to express my dissatisfaction, the staff there (the family staff) don't really care about making things right. They will tell you that the grill is no longer available for breakfast and not care. My office staff will no longer order from this establishment. Nepotism will bring down your business. read more

Ordered a spinach salad and asked the server to add some crab meat salad from the menu. Long story short, I was sent home from work with food poisoning. I went to the store this morning to let them know their crab salad is spoiled. They had the left over salad from yesterday in the fridge, ready to be put outside today. I told the owner what happened, we spoke with the person who claims he makes the salad fresh every day. I asked them to show me the salad and it was clearly spoiled. They're looking at me like I'm crazy. I did not receive an apology, did not receive offer for my money back, nothing. I will never give them a red cent again. Pretty mediocre. The food is okay, but it's far from great or even good. The restaurant's ambiance is what you get when you try to do something as cheaply as possible--it makes a McDonald's look lavish by comparison. The specials are pretty good, and I love me some Garlic Knots! There's always a wait, but they deliver relatively quickly.... however when you order by phone, they usually get something wrong or leave something out, so I prefer to walk over, weather permitting. The salad bar is pretty good too. And the wings are also good, though not hot. read more

Don't be fooled by their 99cent pizza specials on Mon & Weds. It was the greasiest pizza ever. I usually soak up the oil with napkins..I had to use about 10 napkins and there was still grease left. Gross. I feel the pimples forming in my face. Never getting pizza from here again. read more

We had these folks cater a 5 day event with coffee and tea and they sent us a bill for $600! When we disputed the charges the owner programmed his fax machine to call all of my staff's cell phones every night - I've had 300 calls from them since last week and they refuse to negotiate or stop.
